I actually don't mind those fabric circles, although I agree they look a little larger than I'd typically want for my album. And I don't mind the pop of the orange, but I'm also not a traditional colour scheme kind of scrapper for Christmas.
There is no way I'll find enough to make shipping worth it, but it has got me thinking about what icons I want to use throughout my album this year.

Color Cast Design posted an album cover and sneak of the large numbers she is offering this year on Instagram. Sorry I don't know how to link an image. But thought I would give a heads up.

I really like that peek-a-boo white front cover from Color Cast. The format just doesn't suit me. Too big, alas. You could easily fit one of Ali's fabric circles in there...

Someone here mentioned that the introduction of Ali’s DD CT on IG ( so far Amanda Zampelli, Pascha Shepard and Emily Stebbins) would include sneaks of the DD colors/themes. Emily’s background shows oranges and pomegranates and Amanda’s, poinsettia 😉

HALLMARK POLL, everyone! 1. Favourite Hallmark actors (male and female)? As a OTH fan, I love when they're the main person(s). Bethany Joy is a big, big fav. Note, I haven't been on the Hallmark Christmas wagon for longer than 3-4 years... 2. Favourite Hallmark Christmas movies EVER? "Hitched for the Holidays" 3. Favourite Christmas romance trope? I love an enemies to lovers story. 4. Your Christmas romance movies pet peeves? Almost every single person's home is completely outrageous compared to their actual job. WHERE DO THEY GET THE MONEY?! 5. A Christmas romance you'd wish Hallmark (or Lifetime or Netflix, whatever) would just film and show already? I read "The Tourist Attraction" (Moose Springs, Alaska series) last season and I love the idea of the story about XX then another movie about the friend from the previous. Right now there's 4 books out, they definitely need to spice up their cast, but something of that nature. Also, I read "In a Holidaze" last season and it's a "Sliding Doors" type Christmas and I'd dig that, too. HOWEVER - if they cast Lacey Chabert or Candace Cameron Bure, I'm out. I refuse to watch their movies. I apologize if you must boot me from the island, but I can't handle either one of them. I JUST CAN'T DO IT!!! Thanks again, Booty. It was nostalgic and only slightly traumatizing.

What are those big numbers made of? I like the double font, something new, but don’t need the whole set of them. I am going to use this blue color in my album this year so need to see how expensive, thick and full the set is.

Well, since we're talking Hallmark movies, let's do this. HALLMARK POLL, everyone! 1. Favourite Hallmark actors (male and female)? 2. Favourite Hallmark Christmas movies EVER? 3. Favourite Christmas romance trope? 4. Your Christmas romance movies pet peeves? 5. A Christmas romance you'd wish Hallmark (or Lifetime or Netflix, whatever) would just film and show already? (Oh yes, I'm going there. The red truck with the tree. I'm doing it. *evil smile*)
1. Luke MacFarlane or Peavey; female: none of them are my favorite to be honest 2. Snow Bride 3. Enemies to lovers!!! br] 4. The sheer lack of chemistry most of the actors have together and ohhhh the coffee they always have that never spills over and is always the perfect temperature for drinking. So wish I could find coffee like that. Many a white shirts would have been saved from the trash can. 5. Some historical romance would be fun and a nice change!

Replying to my own HALLMARK POLL! 1. Favourite Hallmark actors (male and female)? I'm a sucker for Michael Rady and Andrew Walker, they are both very good and generous actors who always seek chemistry and let their costars shine. Brendan Penny's super smiley face also gets to me. For the leading ladies, sign me up for anything with the previous One Tree Hill and 90210 (new generation) cast: Bethany Joy Lenz, Hilarie Burton (she only did a few), Jessica Lowndes. Major love for Nikki DeLoach who's just always super engaging on screen. 2. Favourite Hallmark Christmas movies EVER? Alright, let me try to name just three. Or four. Ok, maybe five. Snowbride, an oldie but forever (and ever) goodie. The Grinch-esque Mistletoe Promise. My Christmas Love because it's over the top silly in every single way. I can't help but add the AMNESIAC EX-FIANCEE (yes, no seriously, yes) Christmas romance that is Christmas on My Mind to the list because it was such a stupid premise that I just had to cheer for it. Number five goes to the Lifetime Snowed-Inn Christmas because perfect chemistry and perfect mix of old Santa Claus tale and new romance. 3. Favourite Christmas romance trope? Contract romance, ding ding ding, we have a winner! 4. Your Christmas romance movies pet peeves? The cringe-worthy filler cliché scenes that are just carried out in such an unnatural manner like singing solo to decorate the tree. No, don't do it if you can't pull it off... Don't go there. Just ask for a slight script change. I will not judge for skipping it. The go-to scenario of leaving the big evil city for the good countryside. Stahp. Cities are good too. Stop breaking my heart, Hallmark. 5. A Christmas romance you'd wish Hallmark (or Lifetime or Netflix, whatever) would just film and show already? I'm a simple gal. Bouncing off my answer to question 4, I want a reverse movie where the two main characters living in the countryside where everything is quiet and calm realise that they both need the hustle and bustle of the city. And then, poof, by miracle, they meet and find a new BFF in the city who might just turn out to be a little more...

I can occasionally finish a Lacey Chabert Hallmark movie (it's rare but it does happen once very 3 years or so). I cannot with CCB. Just no. Nope. Visceral reaction.

I'll do the poll when I'm at a computer (love all the enemies to lovers!) buuuut I've got terrible news for yall cos I'm pretty sure both lacey and ccb are riding that christmas train into 2021 🚂
Lacey's tied to one called Christmas at Castle Leslie and ccb has an ~untitled~ project... pretty sure she's just given one every year 🙄

I don't check on her on IG so no clue whether she was on set in late July/early August but I doubt she wouldn't get one. She's not just a "freelancer" at Hallmark, she's one of their big stars since she's got the lead in the Aurora Teagarden series. I'm a little disappointed Chabert got the European destiny Christmas movie again this year. She got the one in Rome in just a couple of years ago! Let someone else have the Euro lead. I doubt Hallmark will keep Castle Leslie's OG name in the title but who knows? Chabert is definitely a shoe-in since she's now the lead on Hallmark's Crossword Mysteries series. dawnnikol Robert Buckley has joined Chesapeake Shores this year so hopefully that means more Hallmark movies with yet another OTH alum!

Dear ladies, don’t throw oranges and pomegranates at me but I have never watched Hallmark or any of their movies. I shop at Hallmark store and buy their ornaments every year. Does it count? I know I am missing out but typically during Holiday time off I am catching up on my other shows and I usually watch the shows/ movies with my hubs or a family movie with my kid so no time for these types of movies in my life:(

Just catching up on sneaks - I'm thinking I might go all digital this year (did hybrid last year), but watching the sneaks and wondering if I might just buy a few things ... those fabric patches look really tempting.
I'm not as avid a watcher as most, but here's my take on the quiz.
1. Favourite Hallmark actors (male and female)? I will always watch Lacey Chabert or Alicia Witt, but I actually prefer fresh faces for the main characters. I'll tell you what I love - when a beloved older actor shows up as mom or dad or town mayor or whatever. I'm all done with CCB.
2. Favourite Hallmark Christmas movies EVER? I like the stereotypical 'career woman has a cozy Christmas' movies. I watch for the cozy Christmas scenes more than the romance.
3. Favourite Christmas romance trope? Fish out of water. She's initially an outsider, but becomes a beloved member of the community through decorating, baking, giving or some other bonding quality.
4. Your Christmas romance movies pet peeves? Doing all the big Christmas activities on Christmas Eve. The town's tree lighting / Christmas parade / holiday ball is on the 24th? Santa's busy that night doing other things.
5. A Christmas romance you'd wish Hallmark (or Lifetime or Netflix, whatever) would just film and show already? I like the Sliding Doors or Groundhog Day genre ideas.

I'm shocked that there are no My Dad Wrote a Porno podcast fans here - am I the only one who starts snickering when I see/hear about pomegranates? Probably. (blushes) I don't think there's any Christmas connection there though. Oranges = clove studded pomanders and Little House on the Prairie stocking treats and Japanese kids coming back from winter break talking about how many mikan (little mandarin oranges) they ate while sitting under the kotatsu (low table with a quilt and heating element).
I'll have to do some Hallmark research to answer all the questions because I can't keep most of the titles or actor names straight except Andrew Walker and CCB/Lacey. Kind of embarrassed that I haven't seen some of Booty's favs. I missed a lot the past couple of years.

1. Favourite Hallmark actors (male and female)?I'll always watch something with Jessica Lowndes, Meghan Ory, Nikki Deloach, Autumn Reeser & Ashley Williams. For dudes, Paevey has my heart but Andrew Walker is a close second. We're also a Jeremy Jordan household™, so while he's only done one Christmas movie it's also the only one my boyfriend was excited to watch lol 2. Favourite Hallmark Christmas movies EVER?
Way too many! Top 4..5..6ish? A Very Merry Mix-up, Christmas at the Plaza, 12 Gifts of Christmas, Dashing Through the Snow, the first Christmas in Evergreen, and what seems to be the consensus here because honestly it's one of the more solid films especially for an older Hallmark -- Snow Bride. I'll watch all of these at least once between October and Christmas day. 3. Favourite Christmas romance trope?
Enemies to lovers and princess shit. I live for the terrible crown/princess/queen/made up country with an English accent movies. 4. Your Christmas romance movies pet peeves?
Honestly, nothing in Hallmark movies bothers me. I know what getting into and I love it for how terrible it is. 5. A Christmas romance you'd wish Hallmark (or Lifetime or Netflix, whatever) would just film and show already?
More separated parents, normalize divorce 2021. A lot of the older Hallmark movies always had sad backstories of dead parents that never added anything to the story. ~~~~ Obligatory -- my favorite tv Christmas movie Love at the Christmas Table (it's made by The Asylum.. yknow, the people who made all the Sharknados ) starring Danica McKellar where she plays herself at 18 years old and they think throwing some bangs on her will help, and cutie pie Dustin Milligan aka Ted from Schitt's Creek. Along with Lea Thompson & Scott Patterson. It randomly pops up on Hulu/Prime/Hoopla each year and I watch it easily 2 or 3 times before the season is over.

Well, since we're talking Hallmark movies, let's do this. HALLMARK POLL, everyone! (Oh yes, I'm going there. The red truck with the tree. I'm doing it. *evil smile*)
Gotta love that truck and tree... HALLMARK POLL, everyone! 1. Favourite Hallmark actors (male and female)? Andrew Walker is usually appealing, Paul Greene too. Not my type at all, but easy to like. I don't mind CCB and Lacey, and Winnie from the Wonder Years is pretty good in some of her films even though she is the most wooden kisser in the history of kissing. I have a pretty long list of ladies I don't much care for (for totally bogus reasons) and a fair number of guys too. 2. Favourite Hallmark Christmas movies EVER? There are some that have really grown on me that I have seen many many times. Snow Bride, Switched for Christmas was much better than I expected (sorry, double CCB! but also Pinocchio from Once Upon a Time, and it was totally confusing but somehow I still enjoyed it), A Christmas Detour (CCB and Paul Greene), and Winnie's Euro royalty romance. They're all pretty bad but I still like them. My surprise favorite was Bridget Regan in Christmas Getaway. I only knew her from Jane the Virgin but she totally charmed me in this one and I liked the hot widowed dad despite myself. 3. Favourite Christmas romance trope? I'm a sucker for fake dating, even when Hallmark refuses to entertain platonic bed sharing or even room sharing (Snow Bride is a rare one!) A Christmas Detour avoided it, much to my annoyance. I got my hopes up and it let me down. I like the bit where the fake couple decide they'd better practice kissing in advance, and also when they haven't and are forced to kiss (Leap Year did this well, Hallmark almost never does). 4. Your Christmas romance movies pet peeves? Carolers who are super aggressive and gleefully interrupt almost-kisses, apologies for hardly decorating when every spare surface is festooned with garland (I know how much space that crap takes to store - where are they keeping it all?!), general Hallmark peeve - people who are totally crap at their job/not even trying to portray their work accurately. Also calling something a Pride and Prejudice movie because someone is named Darcy but nothing else has anything to do with P&P. 5. A Christmas romance you'd wish Hallmark (or Lifetime or Netflix, whatever) would just film and show already? I don't actually have anything I can think of other people's suggestions sound good - a Christmas Groundhog Day would be fun. I've been distracted the past couple of years but I'm always up for sharing bingo cards and one of these days I might even update them for Hallmark's attempts to get sort of woke, lol.

Will I get kicked out if I tell all of you I don’t watch Hallmark movies? Psshhh, no hating here. If we were all the same, it'd be really boring. However: They are much more fun with the Hallmark Movie Bingo!! Legit. joblackford's Bingo last year made our Hallmark (also Lifetime) experience 1000% more fun for DH and I. My kids didn't watch the movies with us, but even they got caught up in who was winning or had found a few squares to fill in. I even took a couple of our Bingo cards and mounted them on cardstock to put into DD and plan to do it again this year. ^.^
