I'm eager to see Liz Tamanaha's DD items. I'm not drawn to any of Ali's sneaks so far. Too busy and too red and green. I'm a minimalist so it overwhelms me  . |

What do you include your albums? Is it a daily log of activities, or more like Shimelle's JYC? Some sort of hybrid? I am trying to land on an approach early so I can start to plan/think. I also need to decide if I am going to do December pocket pages/layouts, plus an album, or try to put it all in my annual album. I think having some idea on content will help to drive that decision. I do a mix of day to day stuff and deeper stories. For what it's worth, Shimelle always pitched JYC as an album you add to over the years, telling whatever stories are important each year, even if those stories are not about the current Christmas, rather than a document every day album (even though that's what she does). From your later post it seems like you've decided on something that will be a good fit for you, so I'm excited to welcome you to the dark side of an overabundance of Christmas joy and shopping.  Thank you! I am SO excited and have already started thinking of the stories I want to tell. |

Not sure if I should post this here, or in a separate thread, because y'all are COMMITTED to December Daily! I am on the fence, but want to commit to documenting the holiday season in a more purposeful way this year, and hopefully use that to focus on the happy aspects. What do you include your albums? Is it a daily log of activities, or more like Shimelle's JYC? Some sort of hybrid? I am trying to land on an approach early so I can start to plan/think. I also need to decide if I am going to do December pocket pages/layouts, plus an album, or try to put it all in my annual album. I think having some idea on content will help to drive that decision. I ordered a kit from Vicki Boutin with her Warm Wishes Collection. It comes with a virtual class of layouts and an album, but I will likely just watch the videos for entertainment, take the ideas I want, and then get creative with the supplies. Right now I am planning on combining it with some vintage Basic Grey holiday collections, and some embellishments from other manufacturers. I don’t actually do a daily, but x number of stories each December. I usually write down my story ideas so I’m sure to plan for them. Like: Christmas tree, holiday card, wrapping presents, some kind of holiday event, holiday cooking, my birthday, etc. |

sleepingbooty Great investigative job (as always every year). I looked at the offering and the elements from pomegranates to stockings to holly are all there. However, it looks like Santa hats and deer came from another set. It’s interesting to see where Ali and Co get their inspiration from every year.

I’ll be the lone dissenter to the Felicity Jane albums. I’ve used them twice and had issues both times. Basically the rings get messed up in shipping (per the owner) and the clasps no longer align. Pages constantly get caught while turning. Her customer service was less than stellar. Basically I had to ship the album back in order to get a new one. During the holiday rush I didn’t want to deal as I was working on it each day. The albums are nice enough, though annoying with no bookplate, but I won’t take a chance on them again. Wow, that sucks! I can't believe they made you ship the album back. I hope they paid the shipping. |

On the AE DD schedule it says Product Play is “back to basics”, and also Create with Canva. Is canva an app or software thing for digital artwork?
ETA: I’m intrigued by the back to basics theme. Have to say, I’m glad to see it. I love creativity, but some of the stuff last year seemed way OTT to me. 😬

It’s an easy way to make nice looking graphics for free using a drag and drop app. |

sooo the important dates are the 2nd and the 7th (why not do them the same day?? jeez) and then the 9th for potential ordering. ..then wait a month to maybe get your products, if not later than a month because they'll be backed up with shipping as per usual.
after being semi excited for those sneaks yesterday I've all but talked myself out of spending money on a kit that I think I like and have fomo for whatever reason this year.. but don't actually love.
fomo shouldn't be a reason I spend money I need this tattooed on my eyelids to see everyday lmao

I have not really liked sneaks from anyone but Ali so I know I will order from her.
I ordered some of the Warm Wishes by Vicky Boutin that came in and didn't like it as much as I thought I would. I had also ordered a few Crate Paper items and Simple Stories I loved the Simple Stories the most.

I think I'll be buying some of the Pinkfresh for when I return to Disneyland Paris for Christmas (unlikely to be this year, thanks Delta) as those colours fit the Disney parks so well and sticking to my tartan + wood scheme for this second year of subdued holidays due to the pandemic. I think. We'll see. But so far, that's the best compromise I can come up with. Except if I somehow manage to talk my SO into making a replica of the gorgeous Small World décor I saved on Pinterest years ago, then Holiday Magic will be bought and carefully stored away for next time I get to travel carefree(ish) again.  |

They have Thursday, Sept 9 for Order Selection period begins and then "Tuesday, Sept 9" December Daily Product Play. I realize this is a small typo and anyone can pull up a calendar, but come on. Shouldn't you be able to get that right at least? |

Also I think in FB post they said something like when the preorder selection starts on the 3rd. Someone is not doing a good job copy/pasting:)
Also in some comments it was confirmed that there is only one PP configuration for 8x10 album in addition to one big pocket and it’s 6x4 and 4x4 pockets.
