I usually get a flu shot this time of year, but wondering just how beneficial it would be being that we are still under a mask mandate. Are you planning on getting the flu shot?

hell yeah - I'm still wearing my mask and social distancing and am vaccinated against covid but I'll still get my flu shot - I'm high risk for complications from flu and I have no expectation that if I get flu with complications that there will be oxygen or hospital space to treat me.

I usually get mine in early October. I’ll be watching for information on timing for it this year.

Flu shots are conditions of employment at my job so yes, I will. I would even if I didn’t have to.

Yes. Usually early October. I got the flu really bad a couple years ago, and I've been getting the shot ever since. Why not?

I've never gotten the flu shot. I was planning to get one last year but never did. With all the masking and staying home, I didn't know anyone who got the flu. I don't think most people get them here until October or November.

Yes. But keep in mind the timing if you’re going to get a third Covid shot. I believe you have to wait 2 weeks, although my PCP said 4, in between vaccines.

Yes, when I get the flu, I pass out. So, I always get the flu shot to try to avoid having to get stitches in my head again.
