Thank you all for the lovely cards I've received, they're still arriving and spreading some much needed holiday cheer. I've not been able to put my cards up on display this year, so there's no pictures - sorry.  I was diagnosed with an L3 vertebrae impact fracture on 22nd December  and am waiting on a bone density and orthopaedic appointment. I've loved participating this year and want to wish you all a very happy 2022 |

Hello friends! Thank you all for the beautiful cards and words of kindness during the holiday season, they were very much appreciated. If anyone wants to bookmark this thread to refer back to, now's the time to do so! tc has generously offered to take over organizing the card exchange next year ...thank you so much! I think we would all agree to adopt the following standard (perhaps modified a bit) used on the FS/FT board for joining in the exchange: Access to the FSOT board is restricted to members with at least 50 posts (Junior Member rank) only. Spamming/post-whoring to reach the required number of posts will result in suspension of your account.

Yay! For those of you who are on this years list, but not last year’s list, your cards will go out this week. (I’m the one who sent to last year’s list.) We were in Paris last week and the US post office has had odd hours over the holidays. I’m so sorry for the mess up! |

Hello MichyM so sorry just seen this, thanks for asking I've spoken to my gp today and she's changing my pain meds as I ended up sleeping in the chair the past two nights as I can't lie down in bed without being in pain. I have a bone density scan tomorrow with radioactive isotope tracer. Hopefully this will give a clearer picture of what I'm dealing with. I hope you're feeling better and are on the mend. |

In 2020 I did really well in getting my cards mailed. This year, due to Covid, and now the weather, I haven't made it to the post office. At this point, it could take until February until they arrive. I've been housebound since Christmas Eve.
How would people feel about a random 'Thinking of You' type card through the year from me instead this year?

It's gotten to be a rare event when something besides junk mail is delivered, so I would be thrilled! Sorry you have been house bound for so long. |

I am so sorry, I am a total flake. I’ve had my fourth chemo today and the last few weeks have just wiped me out. I’m never going to meet the international deadline (which is this weekend from the UK). I’ll do my best but I’m just…ugh. I’m so sorry. Last year I was getting cards into January. It was awesome! So don't worry. I'm late myself because of personal reasons. But they will be mailed! Your card arrived today. Very cute! |
