FYI I don't mind that I got 2 cards from a couple of you--but you might want to compare lists since some of us are doing both. There's a few of us on both lists. ETA: There are two Christmas card exchanges I did not have the mental energy to cross check. So if anyone who is in both gets 2, Happy Holidays twice  |

I am so sorry, I am a total flake. I’ve had my fourth chemo today and the last few weeks have just wiped me out. I’m never going to meet the international deadline (which is this weekend from the UK). I’ll do my best but I’m just…ugh. I’m so sorry. Last year I was getting cards into January. It was awesome! So don't worry. I'm late myself because of personal reasons. But they will be mailed! |

I have received several cards and they are all wonderful! Daily I receive the USPS email with my incoming mail for the day. It's so exciting to see another card(s) show up, giving me something to anticipate all day!

I’m later than I’d like getting cards out - it’s been a tough few weeks with work craziness combined with a sinus infection. I’m finishing up the international cards today, though, and the rest in the next few days.
I’ve gotten lots of cards already but haven’t opened them yet. I plan to sit by the tree tonight with holiday music and a glass of wine and open them. I’m looking forward to it!

I’ve been loving having my mail filled with cards this year! I’m trying to be patient and save them to open just a little longer.
I messed up when I bought supplies though, and accidentally bought “flats” instead of folded cards. They’re cute though, they make me think of postcards.
Mine are all made now, and I will for sure get all international mailed on Monday. The rest will get out soon. Not sure how much time I have tomorrow to work on them, but I’m so happy they’re all made now.

So about the cards…. I mailed the Internationals and about 10 of the US domestic last week. Did anyone receive one? I finished up the rest of them today and my DH took them to the PO and the person said they were too bumpy for regular postage. So he bought extra stamps and I’ll send them out tomorrow. But I’m just wondering if those few made it in the US? I had marked off the entire list today so I don’t even know who the first batch went out to.
Anyway, I really REALLY hope they didn’t come with postage due. If so, I’m so sorry! Most of them had a moose on the front but they all had an unfortunate tied ribbon.

For those of you sending to me (the APO address), you don't need to put the bit about the postage being the same as mailing within the US. That was just an FYI for those unfamiliar with the APO system.
I've received a few cards already over here in Belgium. I'm saving them for next week when life slows down a little. Things are starting to get canceled and locked down and I'm focusing on getting family gifts and such in the mail tomorrow. My cards should go out Monday, though.

Cards have begun arriving in my mailbox, so exciting.
My mom has been in the hospital so I have been 3 hours away from home for the last 3 weeks. My cards all went out today, unfortunately not all handmade or sent as early as I had envisioned but I did manage to pop them all in the mailbox this morning.

I mailed my cards out today. The post office was crazy as you would expect but I wanted them to be inside vs in the drive up mailbox. Now to clean up my mess from making them. I have tons of leftover paper and about 20 stamp sets out lol.
Trying to figure our the best way to display them without buying a holder. I think ribbon over the China cabinet with mini clothespins (which I need to buy). We don’t want to put holes in the wall but I want to see them all and we don’t have command hooks that will work. Any creative ideas?

Our mailman got butt hurt when one of my neighbors left a note on our bank of mailboxes, asking why he couldn't do his job correctly, and deliver the mail and packages to the correct addresses? It really is a neighborhood joke, how bad our mailman is. Two days later we got a notice on our bank saying it had been vandalized and we needed to pick our mail up at the post office. This was two months ago. I've seen no less than 3 postal service people open our mailbox bank, and drive away. Not being able to pick up my Pea cards daily has really been a bummer. It's normally a driver of keeping my holiday spirit going until the end.

I haven't opened any of my cards yet. Need to put up my cardholder still. So nice to be getting mail that isn't a bill.  And sorry but I had a personal reason of why I am late this year sending out cards. International went out on Friday. Working on the rest this week and sending out as I get them done! |

I gave my DS's GF my cards in October and asked her to post them around Thanksgiving. Now I’m in Florida, and picked up a bag from the backseat of her car on Friday. I peeked inside and there were all of my cards! She totally forgot about them, so they only got mailed yesterday. I had grand plans to make my cards again this year - bought a new die in September, bookmarked inspiration, and everything. But when push came to shove (and maybe because I didn’t start them in early October as in have in the past), when I sat down in mid-November, I wasn’t feeling creative at all (still haven’t gotten my mojo back 🤨) thus the store bought cards. Please know that they include just as much love in them as a handmade card does, ok? 😁
I got one back today. The address label was printed from the labels many of us used, so I know it was correct. Anyhow, I need to resend it tomorrow. I suppose with everything else going on with mail and deliveries overall, it was bound to happen 😞

I didn't participate in this year's exchange because I had too much going on, but I have enjoyed vicariously participating in this thread. I finally finished my personal cards today, so its a good thing I didn't participate. I could get into a Valentines exchange because I have collected quite a bit of Valentine's supplies. |
