The Crumbleys are not yet in custody and considered fugitives, according to Oakland County undersheriff Michael McCab
The undersheriff is confident the couple will be found and it’s a “matter of when.
Jennifer and James Crumbley, the parents of the Michigan high school shooting suspect, were scheduled to be arraigned at 4 p.m. ET today.
Earlier today, court administrator Amy Luce said that if they were not in court by 4:30 p.m. ET, there would be no arraignment today. If the Crumbley’s are taken into custody tomorrow, there could be an arraignment from Oakland County jail, as there will be no one at the courthouse tomorrow, according to Luce.
What despicable people they are.

I heard that they left town the night of the shooting to avoid being targeted by people. Their lawyer supposedly knows where they are and they will return to town and turn themselves in.

Their lawyer is actually saying they don't know where the couple is right now.

Typical. Wants to be all “guns, guns, guns!” 2A, god given rights bullshit, but won’t take responsibility.

Seriously. I generally think that it is so hard to parent and I feel for the parents of kids who do terrible things.
But these parents—everything they did, and the fact that they have disappeared after failing their kid when he now needs them most?

Hopefully the cops treat them like the armed and dangerous guilty people they are and shoot to kill when found...you know like they would any person of color.

How much of what their son did is because of his parents? Plenty, according to everything I have heard on the news. It's chilling.

How much of what their son did is because of his parents? Dad bought the gun 4 days prior with terrorist with him. Terrorist later posted on IG about his new beauty. Mom made references about going to shoot with terrorist and his new Christmas present. Teacher caught terrorist looking at sites to buy ammo on his phone morning of shooting. Parents called to school. Declined to take him home. Mom also made a comment at some point between purchase of gun and shooting about she wasn't mad that he did something (look at the ammo maybe?) but that he just needed to be more careful and not get caught. After active shoot call was made mom texted terrorist not to do it.

After active shoot call was made mom texted terrorist not to do it. You forgot the part where he drew graphic pictures of a massacre. When later asked to show that drawing in the parent meeting, he had scratched out many of the images so it wasn’t as “bad”. The mom said she wasn’t mad that he got caught searching for ammo, just be more careful. The whole family is messed up. I assume there are no other siblings since I’ve heard nothing about them.

How much of what their son did is because of his parents? And so the cycle continues. Shitty parents who had shitty parents who had shitty parents who....
All because "tradition" and "religion" taught people for centuries - "don't have sex until marriage; hurry up and get married; oh, you're having children you don't know/can't afford to parent? just keep praying and it will all work out!"

This is what I’m most baffled by. ‘Their’ kid needs them the most now, and they’re bailing? Damn. I really don’t understand that.

After active shoot call was made mom texted terrorist not to do it. Correction. The prior Monday a teacher caught him looking at ads for ammo. She reported it. School sent emails and made phone calls, left message, no responses from the parents. This past Monday(day before shooting)...Mom said 'LOL, I'm not mad at you, next time learn not to get caught.'. On the morning of the kids got a work sheet. On the worksheet he drew the disturbing pictures. Someone shot with blood ... Wrote something to the effect it was the end.. Also wrote help me. Parents were called in. Not one person asked the kid were the gun was, or ask him if he had it. Didn't look in his back park. Parents refused to take him out of school. School allowed him to back to class. BIG RED flags. They had a lawyer on hand for that afternoon, told the kid not to talk. They then abandoned their kid on Tuesday after the shooting. Not home yet. Missed their arraignment this afternoon. If they are arrested or turn themselves in, they will spend tonight, at least in jail!!

Too bad their son's victims couldn't have left town to avoid being targeted. Coward assholes, that's what they are.

I hope they didn't head to Canada! Wouldn’t they choose a country with similar or more gun freedom than they already enjoy? Might be hard to find but it won’t be any western nation.

Might be hard to find a country with lots of similarly minded, Christian white people. 🤔 Anyhow they’re gonna stay put and unless the Bible Belt somehow disintegrates you’re in it for the long backwards haul.

Still waiting.... James and Jennifer Crumbley, the parents of Michigan school shooter Ethan Crumbley, had been under surveillance by law enforcement prior to their disappearance on Friday, according to Oakland County prosecutor Karen McDonald.McDonald told MSNBC on Friday evening that she still did not know where the Crumbleys are. The attorney for the defendants is in contact with the sheriff’s office, and they have been told that they intend to turn themselves in," McDonald said. "However, we announced charges at noon today, it is now almost six hours later, and they have yet to do so." www.rawstory.com/crumbleys-karen-macdonald/

Just saw in a news article that they withdrew $4,000 from an ATM earlier today and turned both their cell phones off. Doesn’t sound like they have intentions to turn themselves in despite what their lawyers are saying.
