I ended up really liking the series in the end and I hope there's a second season. But I really do not like Miranda. I feel like she's such a hypocrite. She doesn't like people judging her, yet she judges everyone. (Don't judge me because I want a drink! OMG - you believe in Heaven!?) When Carries was having the discussion with her about Paris/LA it reminded me so much of how she treated Carrie when she went to Paris with the Russian. She was steadfast it because Carrie was giving up her career and everything for this man... yet here she is doing the same thing. I think that was purposefully done. Just reversed roles. Every episode got better. They can easily weed out the new characters. I do hope it gets renewed. I am also hoping that they offer Cattral a shit ton of money to come back to the show.

When asked by Variety whether she would be fine with Cattrall returning, Parker said "I don't think I would, because I think there's just too much public history of feelings on her part that she's shared."
Kim Cattrall won't be back. I couldn't imagine trying to work with someone who said such hurtful things about me to the public.

You have always been a part of the heist. You're only mad now because you don't like your cut.

A question about the filming - there were at least a couple of broader shots of the streets of New York and no one in the background in a mask. So can they shut down a whole block or 2 to film using extras with no masks? NY residents are used to filming disruption and don't mind a detour? Just curious/no experience with this sort of thing!! Yes. Anywhere they film can be shut down. There's a show uses the building where my job is all the time as the hospital. I've literally been stopped from walking out because they were filming a scene. The block where I live is considered a good representation of the neighborhood so every once in awhile it gets closed. I think a lot of people are just used to the possibility (myself included).

I think it says a lot about how much of a presence Samantha and in turn, Kim Cattrall, was for the show that a small text exchange got me more choked up than anything involving Miranda’s story line.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show. I looked forward to each episode every week, and I looked forward to the writers' podcast every Friday. I hope they do a second season. I was thinking the other day, that if this was a brand new show, and SATC had never existed, I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much. I loved it because I am so invested in the characters. Looking forward to the documentary next week. The documentary was on here straight after the final episode. I have taped it but haven't watched it yet.

I am also hoping that they offer Cattral a shit ton of money to come back to the show. There is no way known she will come back on the show. They won't offer her the money, and she wouldn't take it anyway. In fact, I'm going out on a limb here and say that I will run naked down Bourke Street if she ever comes back! 🤣 (I would have loved her to be in the show, FWIW.)
