I covered the word after Summer. This is how I use up a lot of big stickers. The red 3x4 card is from BH PL kit. I organize my cards by color. Because they are used so randomly by themselves or mixed with paper, I've found I use them up more this way.  |

How’s everyone doing with their PL? I’m mostly caught up- a couple weeks a ago we went to Vegas and that page is bigger than usual with inserts and flip pockets and I’m not done with it yet. I have done the page after it. I’ve been trying to decide how to handle a few things and I had an idea I am happy about that solves a lot of “problems” with my PL. As we get to the mid point of the year my album is getting fat. I’m going to need another album for the second half of the year. But I wanted to cram a bit more in this half of the year but then next half would be too small… I decided that I will end this half of the year with A Week in the life. I bought stuff for the project but didn’t really want to dedicate a whole album to it because my PL is already basically a week in the life (abbreviated version). So I will do a few pages for a WITL to round out this half of the year. And then to round out the last half of the year in my next album I’ll do a version of December daily. I’ve never really wanted to do that project - because again, don’t want another album, but I do like the idea of expanding what I’m capturing this Christmas season. It seems like a perfect solution for me to get to keep the year all together which I prefer, but also get to dabble in a couple other projects and ways of capturing things (WITL and December Daily). I like that both expanded projects will be at the end of the albums to lessen confusion and help with flow.  |

Im behind in my PL album. I haven't done March, April or May. I do have March printed out so I hope to attack that tomorrow. Usually I like being only one month behind so I really do want to get March + April done ASAP.

I have yet to print all the photos for April, although I did at least get them all onto my computer this weekend and have started sorting out what I want to print. I've probably done around half of my album so far for this year. I've been making great progress on my 2010 album, and have probably a third of that completed.

Started early January. I really like pocket page layouts over traditional 12x12 layouts because there is less to think about. The design is given to you - all 3x4 pockets, all 4x6, or a mix. Less titles too because of pocket cards. And I can still be creative with the cards. I started a 9x12 yesterday and am still working on it. What took me to do 1 traditional layout can now result in several pocket layouts. I will say though that 2020 only had I think 10 pocket pages due to Covid and 2021 had 12 I believe. So I didn't have a lot to catch up on. |

January is done for me, I have all the photos downloaded and edited for Feb & March, photos downloaded and separated by week for April & May. Now that summer is almost here and my kid doesn't have school and is only going to different camps in the mornings for a couple of weeks I'm not sure what I'm going to get done in the next few months.

This thread got bumped just at the right time for me: I came home to my printer ink delivery today! I placed my order in late March... Yikes. Loooong wait due to the current mess the world is in. I just printed out 6 weeks of journaling in my memory planner. I still have 4 to go. Whew! This is a crafty workout.  |

I'm on September of last year. I've been meaning to catch up but all of my scrappy time lately has been with a friend and we tend to do layouts when we're together. I am almost done all the traditional layouts that I want from last year but I need to catch up on my monthly spreads. And I just need to get this year started and done. I don't think it will take long when I sit down to do it, but I really need to make a start. I love what I have done of my album from last year that I have no doubt I want to do it again, I just need to push through and get started.

I'm WICKED behind on my PL. I was pregnant and had a very exhausting pregnancy while also working full-time, then just had my baby in April, so I'm behind on 2021 AND 2022. I know I'll make it happen once I can pull my life together. Seeing all y'all's posts really inspires me, too!

Last night, while watching a new TV series, I managed to stamp + tiny word sticker those 6 weeks I'd freshly printed out in my memory planner (serving as PL this year). Next up: printing small photos to adhere + printing the journaling for the final 4 weeks to catch up on. Thankfully, I've kept up with my daily journaling or this would've been a project of a completely different size.
Alright, I got this. I can finish those 10 weeks before the weekend hits (she says bravely on a Tuesday morning... girl, stop thinking about the next weekend already 😂 ). Anyone else giving themselves a deadline this week to get part of their PL done?

I have 14 pages left to go to finish it completely. I'm using this little window of time between when I logged off from work and my DH gets home to fill some pockets in (she says while is clearly online instead of scrapping). |

I sorted my March photos yesterday. I've been struggling with the idea of project life right now because everything just feels a bit meaningless right now. And you know I'm not thinking it's meaningless anymore. I have to find a way to document my current memories despite losing my child. My life is still going on. And I need to get on with it. March is before her death, so I am going to baby step my way through it. This weekend I'll probably print the photos and stick them in pockets. Sort through my cards, maybe do some journaling for March. And then we will see if I can make it through April.

sleepingbooty Thank you! We are happy to have a place finally even if it isn't what we wanted, we'll make it work. I think down the road, we will be happy we didn't buy at the top of the market since things are looking like they are slowing down. Who knows what the world will be like in a couple more years. Grateful to have a spot that we can afford and just in time for me to be able to set up a nursery and all that jazz. Hoping in 3 more weeks we'll be settled in. jeremysgirl Big hugs to you. I'd second it's more than okay to skip over April/May if things are too raw. And it's okay if you never go back to that specific time or end up documenting it differently, like with only journaling if you don't have photos or you don't want to go back through them from that time. Grieve however you need to.
