So, when do yours come down?
Mine are down and packed away, including our outdoor stuff since it's in the 40s here today.

Typically January 1st. We like to start the new year with a clean slate, but like to enjoy the decorations on New Year's Eve.

One of my sons has a bday right after Christmas, so I can’t start taking them down and have the house be a mess of Rubbermaid bins and boxes when the grandparents come over for cake and presents.
Then, I usually don’t want to waste a day of DH’s vacation time doing something unfun.
So we usually take them down the weekend after break is over and use Epiphany as an excuse, though we aren’t religious.

None of the options really fit what we do. We don’t take it down right after Christmas, but it comes down just before the new year, usually the 30 or 31st. We are supppsed to have off and on rain all week, so I don’t know if we’ll get ours down before the 1st.
ETA - we have an HOA who “encourages” the homeowners to take down the outside decorations as close to Jan 1 as possible.

I’m typically super busy with work, working 24/7 starting January 1st, so I have to have everything down by then. I used to like taking them down on the 1st but now I’m expected to work. Not this year because I’m out on FMLA while I go thru treatment. I didn’t do any decorating this year due to being sick and in the hospital. But a typical year I go all out decorating.

I’m taking them down today. All our downstairs floors are being sanded and refinished next Monday. I have to have the place emptied out by then. Usually I wait until DS’s birthday next week, but he left yesterday. So the tree is almost down now.

We typically decorate Thanksgiving weekend so by the time New Years has rolled around I am ready to take down Christmas. I usually leave the outdoor lights up until Epiphany for no other reason than they are my favorite decorations and I love looking at them!

Normally I'd leave my outdoor stuff up a little longer, but DH offered to take it all down today (it's relatively warm) and I was like, "SOLD." 😁

Typically right after the New Year but probably towards the end of January this year, we got them up later than we’d like and we are still really enjoying them right now. They’ll come down when that changes.

...whenever I feel like getting around to it. I'm never in a hurry to take down the tree, but I don't like having it up once no one turns the lights on anymore. We don't do much more than the tree and some outside lights on the house. Usually the tree comes down some time after New Years, but before mid-January.

New Year's Day.
Because family still wants to see it up.
If if were just me? It would already be put away.

I don't know what "Epiphany" is, but I do take the decorations down some time in the first week of January, so yeah, about 6th of January.
If DSO had his way, he would take down the tree on Boxing Day, maybe even Christmas night! Although I'm sure he just says that to rile me up. I mentioned to my mum yesterday how much I love my new tree, and DSO said "No, you're not keeping it up all year!"

I don't put mine up until mid-December. I take the tree down after the 6th. I put away anything super Christmasy themed, Santa's etc. But I get out more winter/Snowman decor for January until Mid February.
I can see that if you put up your tree and Christmas decor in early November - you're tired of it and it needs to go. I only put my tree up barely a week before Christmas this year - so I still like seeing it.
Plus we having really had any winter weather yet, to feel like winter. I don't do anything outside. I would defiantly take advantage of nice weather to get that down!

Epiphany is the 12th day of Christmas, the traditional end of the Christmas holidays. It’s when the Wise Men made it to baby Jesus.

Whenever I feel like it. It used to be about January 2 when the kids were little. We celebrate the 24-26, rest on the 27. So anytime after the 28th before New Years.

I tend to do the first full weekend in December for putting it up; it depends on when I have to go away for work. We have a yearly event that sometimes falls end of November, sometimes early January. It also depends who's available to give me an assist with setting it up & decorating it. I like it up until at least January 7th, but if something happens & it's easier for my cousin R to do it before that, we do it then. I'm scheduled to get my booster this Sunday, though, so I'm not sure. Basically, at this point, it will come down on a Sunday in January that's good for my cousin, which will depend on how she's feeling/how busy it is, and the weather. At the moment I fear it will never stop snowing, and we'll end up having Christmas in July!

Some years it was right away.

I would probably leave them up a bit longer but I have the week between Christmas and New Year off every year which seems like a good time to clean and organize and start fresh in the new year. Plus, this year we’re dealing with snow and ice so some of my plans have been canceled so they’re coming down today.

I only have a few decorations in my living room and no full size tree. I actually have outside decorations this year and not sure when they are coming down.
ETA: Technically my two small white trees are up all year long on my entertainment center. I just put different things on them for the holidays.

I take the inside decorations down after Epiphany at some point, before the end of January. But the tree stays up for awhile longer because I like the lights. And my outdoor lights stay up for a long time because I like looking at them in the dark.

If it were up to me, they would come down on New Years Eve day and they did for many years. Dh wants to take them down earlier, so I make sure that happens on a day that I am at work and he isnt (he hoards his vacation time so he can be off between the holidays every year). Tomorrow is his big day.

Mine is not taken down per a specific date. It’s just when I have the time or am motivated enough to do it.

We usually get crappy weather after Christmas. It’s cold and dreary so most of my neighborhood leave up the lights until Valentine’s Day. Also, if the weather is bad enough (snow and ice) nobody is getting on ladders if they don’t have to.

For us it depends on what day New Years falls on and when Christmas break ends. This year since New Years is Saturday and I go back Monday then it will wait until the 8th or so. If New Years falls mid week then it comes down before the 6th and I go back to work. The outside lights stay there until we have a warm and dry enough weekend to take them down. We just don’t turn them on after New Year’s Eve
