I added my vote for the crop. I'm hoping it falls on the long weekend here so I can join the peas for the Sunday chats as well, and I'm kind of hoping it's a hot weekend so I don't feel like I should be doing things outside the house

I'm certainly planning on it. I've got a couple of cut files in various stages of readiness to get on pages, and have several photos and groups of supplies on my desk. It's meant to be a warm weekend here so I intend to hide out in the cool and scrap.

Spent time online with a few 2Peas over the weekend. Still on a card run . . . soon layouts? Many 28-4-28 to try!

How are all the Paper Posse? I've been trying the 28-4-28 challenges and having fun there. I've been trying to do one big chore each day in addition to the regular things (like clean a closet, organize photos, trip to take things to the thrift store). Tomorrow is "start taxes" ugh. Not finish - I'm sure we'll hit a roadblock where we have to call somebody or chase down a paper. What are you all up to?

The NSBR organizing challenge for February is organizing and doing taxes, personal or your own small business so you can get points for that!

Took a scrapbook break to do some sewing area organisation but now I need hurry and get a challenge ready for tomorrow - oops

This weekend, I'm going on a road trip with my husband and our dog. We are going to see 2 national parks in Utah (Zion and Bryce). We have a cool map of the US with each of the National Parks on it, and it's a scratch off so you scratch the parks and states you've been to. We still have a loooot to go but it's a lifelong bucket list type thing!

scrappyrabbit your trip sounds amazing! We hope to see some of your photos. Conveniently, the challenge for 28-4-28 Day 18 is list - including doing something on your bucket list!

That's a great challenge! However, I am still working on scrapping last year's photos I'm frozen and I also have plenty of outdoorsy papers, but there is a new Steve Duncan line coming out soon with a sheet of national park papers that I really want...

Good Morning team! scrappyrabbit your National Parks bucket list sounds so fun! And Southern Utah is so beautiful. I haven't done a ton of scrapping (I never do, I'm slow, slow, slow lol) but I have managed to combine quite a few of the 284-28 challenges on a couple of layouts. I hope everyone has a good weekend. Mine will be chaotic but I'm hosting the Sunday crop so I will get some time to hopefully get another couple of the 28-4-28 challenges done.

I've been missing for a week or so - just tied up with work and church, family. Haven't had much scrapping time but am doing organization! Trying to do at least an hour a day for 100 days. We will see LOL.
I can't believe we're almost to the end of February already - where did the time go? Hope everyone is doing well and having fun!

Is there a limit to the number of 28-4-28 challenges you can get on one page? I've got a LO planned that I could easily meet 4 of the challenges on. The beauty of being behind on them? lol

I think I saw this discussed somewhere and I don't remember what the conclusion was. If you have a lo that meets more than one challenge are you posting it in each challenge thread it meets, or just the first/main challenge?
I actually have two layouts done finally lol, and they both meet several challenges.

That way the host knows you're playing along, too!

WELL I actually scrapped a page, but have been procrastinating on the journaling so it's not ready to photograph or post. My first of the year I believe. But cards galore.
I got all my stencils organized, and the really ancient page kits from the early days of CKC put into packaging (I keep all my 12 x 12 packaging to reuse!) All the kits fit into pre-existing storage for page kits. So happy to have this done!
Taxes, yes the dreaded prep! I need to tally up our medical and charitable contributions. I have most of our small business ready to go to the accountant, but I take it in all at the same time.
In the good news category, we close on our teeny tiny cabin this week. Did a lot of signing, initialing, scanning, and uploading of documents today. It still has snow all over it, and we won't actually see it until maybe spring break or later. But we are excited!
I won't be around this weekend for online crops as we (Mom and siblings) are getting together to go through some of Dad's things, plan his memorial service, and plan our trip to Alaska in his memory. We hope to spread ashes from Kodiak, where he spent a large portion of his Civil Service career, and where we have all our childhood memories. I've not been back to the "rock" since I was 17!

sorry I've been awol - computer problems and life got in the way of posting. congrats angel97701 on the cabin! Prayers for you and your family as you get together and make plans. joyfulnana - you only have to post in ONE place to earn the sharing point but I think the hosts enjoy seeing the various takes on their challenges - I know I do.

How is the Paper Posse? Now that we're at the last day of February, I am wondering ... what was your favorite project of the month? I like how the outlined letters in my page about Summer turned out, and I also liked using a sketch for my homecoming parade page.
I'm working on a sketch for one of the challenges - hoping to finish today. Plus some housecleaning, more work on the taxes, and get ready for DH birthday tomorrow.
What's up with you all?

awesome question jjpeapea - I think my favourite was my Math Bee layout - it really came together well. I also love my black and white page I did for one of my challenges - I always enjoy working with black and white although usually I like to add a pop of colour. I have some St Patrick's day cards on my desk - I need to finish colouring the stamped images and then die cut them before I start on the actual cards. Housework here also - taxes are waiting on DH to get paperwork to me, sigh.

I've been MIA as well. Lots going on with family, irritated with situations on the NSBR board, a 3 day virtual crop, and getting ready for an MRI on my neck today. I THINK I have 6 LO's I'll be sharing shortly, so even though I've been gone, I've been scrapping!

grammadee would like to remind everyone that we're looking for online crop hosts for March and April - you can sign up on the thread in General Scrapping. If the standard times don't work for you, there's always the option of hosting a pop-up crop at a different time - those of you in non-North American time zones - feel free to host at a time that works for you. Is everyone excited for a new month? We're almost into March and month three of our quarterly team. I'll be toting up my February points tonight to clean up my points thread and make it easier for myself at the end of March.
