KikiPea - welcome back - good luck with the MRI. Looking forward to seeing your layouts. Thank you! MRI results are back, and I have significant arthritis in C3-C7 in my neck. UGH Waiting for my referral to come through to talk with a spine specialist. What stinks is, both of my hobbies consist of looking down a lot. Still gunna do it, though!

I agree, if you don't share the same political views . . . you are attacked over on NSBR. But here, even if you differ we are nice to each other. Care about each other, send love to each other.
How do some of the posters on NSBR live with themselves with they way they speak in such a nasty way to other members, do they even think?

Back from a long weekend with my Mom and siblings. Tiring but good to be with my Mom. Now one sibling I could live without the bullying in the name of "clear communication". I went and did a boxing workout with my trainer today, great way to get out my frustrations!

Good Morning team! I feel like I've been MIA this whole quarter, and definitely Feb because of personal stuff. I can't believe it's March! I haven't done much scrapping but I hope to change that this month. I'll be working on the 28-4-28 challenges and I'm still trying to get my DD done. I finally have an open weekend and want to spend most of it scrapping.
I also jumped off the frozen wagon with both feet so I'm climbing back on that, and starting my page count over. I didn't have many pages done anyway so starting over doesn't hurt too much lol.

the NSBR board is too intense for me.. lol I'm good sticking to the scrapping boards and chatting with you all!! I completed 19 of the 28 challenges last month, which is not too shabby. I've been feeling a little blah lately and creatively-challenged, so I'm actually surprised how much I got done last month. I am looking forward to our 2peas crop next week!

I’m not sure how many of the 28-4-28 challenges I have left, but I’m going to try to get them all done before the clock runs out on the quarter.
I also plan to use the card challenges this month to get a start on making cards for the 2peas spring card exchange. I think sign ups are open for another week or two if you are interested in joining!

great job scrappyrabbit - that's a lot done! Ryann - good luck finishing them up I think I've given up on the 28-4-28 challenges for now - I'm struggling a bit too much with some of them and instead of helping me be creative, I think it's doing the opposite so I'm just going to focus on the regular challenges for now. That's not to say the challenges aren't great- they are - they just aren't fitting well with the photos I'm working with right now and trying to force it, isn't working.

I should add, I did not make 19 layouts, because some of the challenges I was able to double or triple up on. But still, a decent amount of scrapping was done. I just received an order from shutterfly with tonsssss of photos from my trip to Utah! Way too many photos. Plus I still have plenty of photos from last year to scrap. Guess I should get busy... lol I understand what you mean by feeling stuck on some of the challenges. I have a few challenges left that I can work on, but I am not going to force it if it just isn't there. But I am leaving the door open for myself to continue playing with them. Plus, I have a ton of sketches printed out from all the Sketchy Saturday's. Lots of options, but not enough mojo!

Poking my head out from my box like a shy little rabbit... I have been so unchatty Sorry guys! I've continued to work on 28-4-28 challenges - I think I have 10 done so far. I've found it hard to scrap in the evenings like I normally do - I'm just tired. I've been lying on the couch playing games on my iphone instead! I'm blaming the February "blahs". scrappyrabbit - so great to get new photos! That always helps my mojo start up. This month, I also have a retirement scrapbook to work on. The hardest part is collecting the photos. For the past 20 years, most work/work event photos have been taken on coworkers phones, and we weren't good about saving or sharing them. That was one benefit to film and prints. I have a stack of older photos I can just sift through and pull out applicable ones. Who is coming to the peas crop on March 11/12/13???

I'll probably just reset it to 300 but I might buy myself a border punch first

Almost crop time - everyone ready? I spent the day cleaning my house from top to bottom. DD15 has tomorrow off school (teacher work day) but I should be able to scrap most of the day. Saturday DH and I are going to a wedding (one of his employees) in the afternoon but hopefully I can squeeze in some scrappy time also. Sunday should be a scrappy day though.

I'm ready but can't scrap today. Pesky job lol. But it buys the pretties lol. I will hopefully get some in tonight and then I'm going to try and spend tomorrow all day into the evening to scrap.
I need to finish posting in the 28-4-28 threads that I met the challenge. I've been so lax about that! And of course I need to tally some points before they get away from me completely lol. I can't believe the quarter is almost over!

I have more than a few, Feb got away from me completely, but I will often come back to these types of challenges months later. Sometimes you just need the right photos or the right story to make the challenge work.

I'll be scrapping over this weekend and looking forward to getting some pages done and joining in the chat thread. I've done very little during Feb as work has been busy. We're getting new windows installed next week, so I decided that means there is no point cleaning the house this week. We have a couple of smaller jobs to get done but we also have a public holiday on Monday so there should be plenty of time for playing along here.

joyfulnana - hope you got some scrappy time in tonight Chinagirl828 - yay for a long weekend! How exciting to get new windows. Our house had new windows put in not too long before we bought it and they are so nice - easy to open...I love them. Our last house, I hated opening or closing the windows because it was hard.

Our last house, I hated opening or closing the windows because it was hard. Ours are well past needing to be replaced, a couple of them have metal bars wedged into them so the sliding part doesn't fall out of the frame. We wanted to get them replaced a while ago but covid and ongoing lockdowns here made it incredibly difficult. I am so unbelievably excited for new windows.

Don't forget when adding up your points - anything you did this weekend (Fri-Sun) is DOUBLE points and every post in the crop thread is worth 1 pt. Hope everyone had a chance to get crafty this weekend - I was lucky and had two full days of scrapping and a partial day as well and got July and August 2010 finished up.

and if anyone is crafting today (or cleaning up and organising after the crop) - all points are doubled today (Monday) also.

grammadee has a printable list of all the 28-4-28 challenges and twists. If you would like a copy, please send her your email in a private message. Remember you have until the end of March to earn bonus points on them as well as the completion bonus. Only 2 weeks left in the first quarter - as we near the end, please remember I'll need your final point total asap at the end of the month so I can add them all up and submit to grammadee. If you have any questions about points - drop here or in the points thread and either I or someone else will answer.

I can't believe it's almost time for a new quarter, new teams, new challenges. You've been an outstanding leader Linda! I haven't kept on top of all that's been going on and missed out on some points, but there are still plenty left on the table lol

I am hoping that our spring break, next week will allow not only scrapping time, but also some time to add up points! I've been making cards mostly, and have nothing photographed to share! Yikes. My Dad's celebration of life is this weekend, so we will be over the mountains for Friday and Saturday nights. Then it's a matter of keeping DS busy during the week. DH got home last night from his business trip. I am very thankful that DSD came down and helped with the Grandparents while Grandpa had day surgery on Monday. She also helped out with DS after school both Tuesday and Thursday. I am finishing a very pleasant half day sub job, where I had access to a computer. Wrote some bog posts and only have a few more projects to make to be "way ahead" on my DT assignments for the summer. With our travel plans I just want to get a jump on things. Linda I hope I can do as good of job at hosting a team as you have done! Thanks for your support and hopefully I will "see" a few of you online for crops in the next few weeks!
