Thank you joyfulnana and angel97701 - I feel like I haven't been as chatty or encouraging as I should have but I've enjoyed leading all of you and look forward to next quarter with new team leaders and new challenges

I can't believe so little of the quarter is left. Time flew right by. I had an idea for the quarters just to get everyone thinking. I loved having more time to finish up a special event month of 28-4-28. Maybe July and August can be a "quarter", and September with Sketchy September can be included in September, October, November and skip December like we do? Then people can finish up Sketchy September things with more time and thought. I do like the quarterly format a lot. Tagging grammadee.

There will be teams with new leads for every quarter this year! (I have the last part of the year) I've really loved having more time to complete things and it just seems to take the pressure off. January was not very productive for me, but I've had Feb and Mar to make up for it. I wouldn't be opposed to having Oct. to finish up Sketchtember, but we can always include finishing that up in the monthly challenges too. I'm going to be hosting the online crop tonight and I need to figure out what I'm working on. I still have about half the 28-4-28 challenges to do. I hope everyone is having a good scrappy (if you want to) weekend!

@meribethr - wow, those are an incredible testament. That paper is lush, just lovely. Boy, March sure got away from me. I think I'll have decent points to offer the team - I'll easily have 200 scrappy HOURS this quarter due to projects and events (especially since this coming weekend is a card event for me which is going to be 30 hours, plus the pre-work on which I've already spent 10 hours!) which is 2000 points without counting projects, right? I only have 3 28-4-28 challenges left and I'm working them into the retirement album: "lists" (yes, can get a list in there), "learning" (yes, can get that in there), "favourite" (easy peasy. whole album is simple stories). I think I can honestly claim the bonus!!! I'm supposed to take over as a leader next quarter. Linda, you are gonna be a hard act to follow!

kitbop - You'll do a fabulous job as leader! Well done with the 28-4-28 challenges - I didn't manage them this time...I just wasn't doing a good job matching them with my photos.

This quarter flew by...I am terrible at these chat threads but I enjoyed being on the team. I have 2 layouts from the weekend to point & share and left my things out so I can scrap a few evenings this week. DH is on the early shift & going to bed super early so I have the entire evening to myself.

Thanks, Linda, for all the hosting duties you have done this quarter. I don't know how you keep up and still have time to scrap. I really appreciate each of the 28-4-28 hostesses too. I feel a bit scrapped out, but I still have a big stack of photos to scrap, so I guess it's a good thing that I signed up again.

I'm sorry I haven't been active on the thread lately. I haven't done any scrapping since the February challenge ended. I'm also not sure if I'll do the next quarter challenge because we have lots going on and I'm not sure how much craftiness I'll get in.

I haven't done much paper crafting this month - been working on embroidery and felt mostly. But!! I just finished a layout that completes the 28-4-28 challenges! Yay!!

Congratulations Ryann. I just have one more to do. I don't have any ideas for it, but since I'm so close I ought to finish. I've made well over 100 cards this quarter so I am beginning to feel a bit scrapped out.

I've made well over 100 cards this quarter so I am beginning to feel a bit scrapped out. Thank you! I was feeling scrapped out too, but I’m glad I pushed through to get those bonus points. I was loosely inspired by a Shimelle layout. Maybe a scrap lift or sketch can help you finish, too? And creating over 100 cards is an awesome feat. That’s got to feel great!!

Well we are on the Saturday of closing Spring Break. I only got a few hours in as I needed to be on call for DS . . . . Been a tough week. My father's celebration of life service was last Saturday. The service itself was wonderful as was being with my extended family, but DS complained the entire time! ACK! Then he was obsessing over spending time with a friend, and it wasn't going according to his 8-year old mind (FASD 16-year old). We finally evened out at the end of the week. Although we found contraband on Monday, and all kinds of crap hit the fan.
DS22 thankfully is BACK at Job Corps! Hallelujah! He's been in contact several times since his arrival. I have been a constant voice in his head to make the VERY best of this second chance. At age 22, he's not done much with his life. Perhaps he has finally turned a new leaf?
I was glad to have two stop by this afternoon to scrap with online. I also spent time adding up my points. I'm not sure if I like the quarter system, as I waited too long to count all my projects and I got a bit confused along the way. I've been making cards for my DT obligations so that those are all posted and ready to go. I'm not sure where I will be throughout the summer, and having it done ahead of time just makes it easier. Soon I will be back to scrapping pages. Just one layout so far this quarter. But lots of cards!

I'm glad that your Dad's celebration of life went well - sorry abt DS. angel97701I've been counting up my points each month and I think that's been easier - I do try and tally projects as I finish them though.

The quarter is almost over - anyone finishing up a last project? I think I'm done for the month unless some sudden burst of creative energy hits. It's planting season here so I've been out in the garden and that always wears me out. I do need to finish totalling up my points - I'm so glad I've been totalling each layout as I went.

Jealous of your planting season, Linda. It was 15 degrees here this morning in Central Pennsylvania and there might be a brief ice storm tomorrow morning. I need to add the points for the 12 card challenge to my total and then I will have my points all accounted for. It's been fun to be part of the Paper Posse - thanks for your leadership.

I'm not sure if I am completely done for the month but um, yes. I am lol. I tried to keep track monthly, but didn't do the best, but I think I have a system for next quarter now. I've really enjoyed having a whole quarter to create and earn points. I'm not sure it translated to MORE points than I usually get, but it was so nice to have the challenges stay the same throughout. I'll have my points to you by this evening Linda and thanks for leading us! Thanks to all the 28-4-28 hosts as well. Those challenges were fun and pushed me just enough. I didn't finish - yet- but I intend to!.

If you haven't already given me your points total - please get it to me in the next day-ish so I can tally them all up. If for some reason, life got in the way and you don't have points - that's okay, just let me know so I'm not waiting on yours. Don't forget there were points for crafting time, crafting with others (online or in person), organising (which includes editing/ordering photos and cleaning up), being frozen, and for spending - so even if you didn't get crafty - there are probably available points for you. And if you haven't signed up for Quarter Two - that deadline is FAST approaching.
