Hi you guys! I'm back from vacation but have been in the land of audit that past couple of days. The joys of being an accountant.
I want to point out that stickied to the top of the challenge board is the challenge document as well as the spreadsheet to keep track of your points. With us being on the quarter system now, it will probably be easier to track points as you go rather than wait until the end.
As you go you can post your points in the "my spot" thread. I plan to update my points this weekend.

Another thing I want to point out to your is on the General Scrap Board they are doing a project of the week feature. I encourage you to check out the highlighted project to get some inspiration and give some love.
In addition I encourage you to share on the board in the sharing thread. There's lot of great projects there from both challenge scrappers and non-challenge scrappers. You can get and give some love for your projects. Another idea is sharing in the Flickr gallery. There are instructions stickied at the top of that board on how to share in the gallery. Lots of good stuff there.
And there's the Sketchy Saturday post. For all you traditional scrapbookers, you may find inspiration there for your projects and if you use a the sketch you can share right in that thread.

Finally the online crops. I'd love to see your smiling faces if I can. There is a crop thread on the GS board. In the past crops have been weekend only but some of the scrappers have expressed an interest in weekday daytime crops so that is a new thing.
It's super easy to join a crop as long as you have a Google account. All you need to do is sign into your Google account and click the link. I think I am going to sign up this weekend to host 12-4 EST. (Many of the crops at too late for an EST time zone early bird like me) but the Sunday afternoon works awesome for me. So if you can, please join me. You don't have to come for the whole session. Just a bit to gab and create with us.
If you have any questions, please post them here and me and our teammates will answer them.

Welcome back jeremysgirl! I’m glad you had a great trip and hopefully some fun pictures to scrap! The crop is Sunday? EST is 9am for me which is church and then after we do some errands and lunch- it’s kind of dh’s and my date afternoon. Lol But I hope to spend my Sunday afternoon scraping. Just got a new printer and looking forward to hooking it up and trying some computer journaling on the clear label paper I got. |

Also, I'm guessing you need a laptop to participate in a crop. ETA: I've finished 10 layouts so far. Younger me would do elaborate layouts with one or two pictures. Older me, knowing I have so many books to do, often does 5 pictures with a journal box. For my travel albums, I usually buy some pages from ScrapYourTrip.com. Some are breathtaking. |

cadoodlebug yes like Gramma said those letters are just to label the cells. Letters horizontal and numbers vertical. I work in spreadsheets every day and I need to be able to have formulas to add/subtract, etc and you can't do it without the cells labeled. This spreadsheet will add up your totals too which is awesome. Many thanks to gramma for putting together this awesome tool for us. And that's great you've done 10 layouts! Way to go team!

Yay, cadoodlebug on ten Layouts! Any way you could share them with us? Are they one page or two? Cuz the points count by the page...  To join a crop, you need a Google account and any device with a camera and mic. I use my ipad, but alot of people use their laptops or desk computers. Some use their phones. We don't really care if we can see your desk--like they do in tutorials--but we DO like to see your face, so if you can prop something up to give us that view, that's great. Also, if anyone want to START a Pea crop, at a time that works for you, all you need to do is go to Google Meet, "start new meeting", get a "link to share" and then post that link on the 2Peas board for other people to click to join. But it's best if you alert the crop planners in the stickied Virtual Crop sign up thread at the top of the GS board, to make sure we aren't competing with each other for Peas to join us. Not sure what I am going to do today. I had planned to go to town to pick up mail and a few groceries. But now dh says he plans to go in for some hardware supplies, so looks like I can stay home. Lots of "should's" to do, but the older I get, the more I am like a kid, so what I WANT to do is play... Don't know if I will finish anything, but I might make a start on some pages I hope to finish this weekend. Scrapping holiday baking, so thinking I need to cut and decorate some kraft cookies to go with them on the pages, don't ya think? |

Scrapping holiday baking, so thinking I need to cut and decorate some kraft cookies to go with them on the pages, don't ya think? Yes, Lord knows I'd rather be playing today than working. Hahaha...just gotta make it until 3 pm...so 4 more hours for me. But, I did actually open up all five of my inks pads this morning and stamped an image because I was placing a supply order and I've stamped so rarely, I didn't know if I needed reinkers. Turns out I don't.  I did manage today to order two more distress oxides and I thought I would try the spray. I've just ordered a bunch of stamps because I was leaning toward making some of my own project life cards so I thought the sprays might be good for backgrounds. We shall see. Now don't tell my husband I ordered and let's hope that the order comes in the mail while he's working so I don't get busted for shopping...LOL! Oh and grammadee, I wholeheartedly support gingerbread men. |

I just spend an hour and a half organizing my scrap area and I think I've made it worse! Since I'm spending more time doing PL I want those things more accessible for sure, I just don't know how to organize and where to put everything. This time did make me realize that I really don't need anymore things...after spending money this month already. I'm going to make this my last spending for awhile and getting creating with what I have and see what past projects I need to finish before thinking too far into the future with buying!
Now to get a bit of my DD done before two get home early from school early.

And then I did a huge purge (well for a small stasher it was huge) and now I'm trying to figure out how to organize all my PL stuff. |

I got 5 more pages of my DD done today. They aren’t very fancy, mainly journaling, a few filler cards, pics and some decor. Honestly I’m not into it this year so I’m really just pushing through it.

Hey. Not all days are diamonds... And the year has lots of time to turn around. In the meantime, you can claim points for the pages, using either system. Easy Peasy goes by the size. If you count Old School, I am hearing points for Christmas theme, word count, maybe some for stickers...
Thanks for sharing your pages, cadoodlebug. I will look at them more closely in a bit.
Heads up, Sisters! This afternoon I dropped a sketch and sample into the Sketchy Saturday 01-22-22 thread. Five points for taking it on in a page or card. There are bonuses for creating something for ANY THREE Sketchy Saturday challenges. This is the fourth one this month! |

Hi everyone! Sorry I have been MIA on the thread. I have done a lot of organizing in preparation to get started on some actual scrapping. I am going to a friend's house next Saturday so was just trying to get some things separated. I have some pictures and paper packs separated, and this week I want to work on spending time looking online or in idea books to figure out what type of LO I will do. I used to do that all of the time and it really helped to be more productive. I also have it set up and cleaned now so I can do some work here at home. I still need to go back and figure out what the challenges are.
