Happy New Year, Scissor Sisters! Great to see so many NEW--and returning--Peas! Love hearing about all the projects and plans. Looking forward to seeing them shared. Thankyou so much for leading this team, jeremysgirl , and to the rest of you for signing up for this three month ride together. A quick reminder to please post some challenges HERE before end of day Friday. After that thread is closed, I will put together a printable MS Word list of all the challenges, and gramma will post a spreadsheet to make points counting a little easier. Hint: if you are working on a particular project, or working on using up particular products, then post a challenge to earn points every time you move toward that goal. A little bit about me. I am most inspired to scrap recent photos and try to keep up with the seasons, but often get behind with that as other activities interfere. In that case, I often put the earlier pic's aside and start from NOW and work backwards toward them. So I am excited to print my holiday photos when I get to WalMart on Tuesday the 4th. New products are another inspiration, and I have some new Christmas papers and supplies from my SCT kits from November burning a hole in my scraproom... Also have some Doodlebug Great Outdoors I ordered from SB.com that might help me go back and finish up some of those summer and fall and farm pic's that have not yet made it onto pages. I am a mom to 4 adults (4 ds's and 1 dd) all with spouses, and gramma to 11 grandkids ("dgk's") aged 6 to 22. Dh (of 53 years) and I live on a farm in northeastern Alberta. I retired from being an adult educator full time in 2005, and then took on part time paid projects until 2018, but now I am completely retired. I scrapbook 12x12 with paper and glue. Most pages are about my dgk's adventures, using photos I take myself when I am with them (so much less often than I used to thanks to COVID ) and photos that are shared with me by them &/or by their parents. Dd and family have been here at the farm since before Christmas. They had planned to be xcountry skiing and sledding and doing other outdoor activities, including an outdoor camping adventure, but temps below -35C have kept them pretty much in the house over the past week and a half. So no scrapping yet this year for Gramma! But after Tuesday...

What size did you decide on paget ? I really really enjoyed 6x8 for my Christmas album. I think I'm going forward with that size for my project albums for 2022. I decided on 6x8! Glad to hear you enjoyed that size. I just purchased simple stories snap flipbook. I decided I “need” the pages to be together rather than separated by binder rings. I think being left handed, binders have never been my friend. . I’ll use both sides of an open spread per week. Looking forward to mixing it up this year with the pocket page style for that book and then my “free form” memory planner style. I tagged you on Instagram for AE kits - I think it was you saying you wanted some inspiration and they are going to be using an old kit each month. If it wasn’t you, sorry!

Hi everyone! Here are the instructions for uploading the Scissor Sisters badge for your signature line:
Click on the link to the badge that I put on the chat thread.
It should open up to the badge (I hope!)
Click on the Download button at the top left of the screen
The badge will now be downloaded onto your computer or iPad or whatever you're Peaing on.
Now, as far as I know, the only way to get a picture added to you signature is to add it from a photo hosting site such as Flickr.
These are the instructions for if you have a Flickr account:
Open your Flickr account.
Click on the Upload button on the top right.
Either drag and drop the badge from your computer, or click on the 'Choose photos and videos to upload' button, select the badge file and upload.
Click on the 'Upload 1 photo' button on the top right
Click 'Upload' in the pop up box
How to then add the badge from Flickr to your signature:
Click on the photo of the badge in Flickr
Click on the 'Share photo' button (the arrow) on the bottom right
You have 4 options: Share - Embed - Email - BBCode. Select BBCode.
Highlight the URL link in the box (it should already be highlighted)
In the box underneath, click on the drop down arrow and choose the size 'Square 150x150'
CTRL C to copy the link
Now to add to your signature here at 2 Peas:
Click on the 'Profile' tab at the top pf the screen
Click on 'Edit profile' button over on the right
Click on the 'Personal' tab
In the box under 'Signature', paste (CTRL V) the link you copied from Flickr
Delete everything after the [/img] (You don't have to do this, but if you don't, you will see the part of the Flickr link in your signature as well.)
At the very bottom of the screen click on 'Save personal settings'
A green 'Saved' will pop up
And you're DONE!

I tagged you on Instagram for AE kits - I think it was you saying you wanted some inspiration and they are going to be using an old kit each month. If it wasn’t you, sorry! I added #storykitcrush to my follows on IG. But it looks like they are really focusing on some old kits. Like older than my stash. But it will be fun to follow anyway. Thank you for thinking of me.

I everyone and thanks for including me! I hope I can be a contributing member. :-) My goals for 2022 are to finally make some TN layouts. I used to scrap 12x12 and ran out of room for albums and realized I enjoyed mini albums more than 12x12. so I've been wanting to transition to this size for a while now. It will happen in 2022. I'm also an avid card maker and supply collector.
Yesterday I made 7 Birthday cards and cut out some die cuts for more. Today I hope to make some get well cards
I'm excited to be a part of this fun group!

I sat down this weekend for hours to get some Crafting done but with all my kiddos home and the interruptions I didn’t even get one PL page done, just 2 pockets. Here’s to hoping that since two are busy at school again and the other three are back to our homeschool routine that I can get a bit of down time!

Hello
I started scrapping in 1999 (I think) scrapping grandkids, holidays and family events in 12x12 double page format. I mainly use my Silhouette to design and cut elements. I occasionally use pre-cut page kits that I just can't pass up when I go to Scrap Expo.
I also sew, quilt, crochet and cross stitch.
I recently re-organized my craft room. I am much happier with it now.

I'm unlikely to until the weekend. I started scrapping in 1999 (I think) scrapping grandkids, holidays and family events in 12x12 double page format. Welcome to the team. I almost cannot believe I started scrapping in 2000! 1999 too, is so many years ago, isn't it? I'm so glad I did it, though. I love looking back at my books.

Glad you got some cards put together, austnscrapaddict. Good luck with your transition to a different sized page. And that is quite a change! Don't forget, boymom5 that you can claim hours for crafting even if it doesn't look like you have much to show for it. Then again, if you created some PL cards, you DO have something to show for it. I don't know how you moms scrap at all. I didn't start scrapping until my youngest went away to university. This past two weeks I have had at least one kid in the house every day, and believe me, I didn't scrap! After my dgs left yesterday morning I did a little cleaning/organizing in here so I will have counters to use this week and then I took a "long winter's nap." Yay cadoodlebug! Great to see so many of those badges popping up. And Yay ME: I SCRAPPED today!!! Spent a couple of hours with a friend at the LSS while my car was getting a service. Ended up with just two facing pages, but have my photos sorted and got my sea legs under me. (And to pack up for my day, I printed some sketches and have all my holiday scrappy supplies in one place, now) Ready to play with paper and glue again tomorrow.

Had some more scrappy time, today. Decided to really work on keeping track of my points throughout the quarter, so started listing them all and keeping a running total in the Team Rules thread. I have not added in points for my pages yet b/c I want to wait until challenges are closed on Friday, but I left a space for those totals to be added in then.

I've not done much scrapping yet this month. Mostly getting my samples ready for 28-4-28. I did finish up a box of cards to send to Cards for Soldiers, so that's a good thing. I want to try and get my work space cleared of all those little unfinished projects. I've been wrangling a layout for my great grand-daughter's birthday. I've pulled it out and put it away 4 or 5 times so far. When that happens I know my mojo is on vacation!!
Looking forward to virtual crops this weekend. I need some interaction other than work and hubby, if you know what I mean ;-)

Crafting is my time to recharge and all my kids love the books so they allow me the time periodically 😉. I’ve been scrapping since high school, so it’s been a hobby for 20+ years now for me and well before kids. I also go through stages when it’s all I do in my free time and then there are others like now that I’m focusing on garden planning, learning about more animals to add to our homestead and so on. There are also times I take long winter naps 😁

Can we discuss how to share pictures? I use Tapatalk on my phone to share pictures. But I had an inquiry about sharing pictures from Flickr and Instagram. grammadee I think you share from the Flickr gallery so would you share your experience? And sleepingbooty, don't you share from Instagram? If so, will you let us know how it's done. I'm tagging bklyngal62 because she wants to know. And I think paget would like some insight too.

And sleepingbooty, don't you share from Instagram? I share from my camera roll set to private on Flickr which is a little different from regular Flickr sharing. For Instagram, it's super easy: just open the full "Create Post" when you reply to a thread in here. When you are in that "Create Post" window, you get the full tool bar whereas the "Quick Reply" only has a limited one. In the tool bar, select the 'Insert Embed' option which is an icon that looks like this: </> and is next to last in the list going from left to right. Click on it and select the Instagram icon in the list that will appear. Drop your IG post URL there and hit 'Embed'. Done! This only works with public IG accounts, however.

If you are a member of Flickr, whether or not you have joined the *2Peas Gallery, the sharing is easy.
1. First, the photo of your project must be in a PUBLIC album or gallery. So check your privacy settings.
2. Then, open the photo you want to share.
3. At the bottom right are some icons. Click on the curved "share" arrow, and a dialog box will pop up.
4. Check to see that BBCode is selected at the top of the box.
5. **Under the box select a size. For sharing a page in a post here, I usually choose the middle Medium selection (starts with 640). For a card or just one photo, I choose a smaller size.
6. A different address will pop up in the box with each of your selections. When you have chosen both BBcode and the size you want, copy that address.
7. In your post on the board, simply PASTE that address. No need to use the picture button or make any other adjustments. While you are still typing, just the address appears. But when you post, the photo will replace it. When you edit your post later, the photo remains in it.
*If you would like to join the 2Peas Gallery, please pm me with a request and your Flickr name and I will invite you there.
**Once you have chosen a code and a size, that selection will usually pop up every time you go to share a Flickr photo. Once in awhile I find I need to reselect, but not often. And of course once I change it for a different type of post, then it stays THAT way, so I need to adjust when going back to posting pic's of pages.

Are we having a peas virtual crop this weekend? If so, I think I want to join and work on my 2021 project life album for a bit. The schedule is HERE When I last checked, one Saturday crop has a host. If you want to host a different time, just let kitbop know and she can add you to the schedule. Or if you want to host a crop not on the schedule you can announce a Pop Up Crop on the GS board, and then post the link to it once your crop starts. If I am planning to do that, I put a note in the Virtual Crop thread to alert them.

Hi everyone! Sorry I am late to the party. Just realized how to find the teams (missed the tag, apparently).
I scrapbook primarily. I have a dedicated area in my house that I can work, but don't use it nearly as often as I would like. I go on a retreat every year and get together with a friend every once in awhile. My goal this weekend is to get my space more organized and get to work! Looking forward to the challenges.

I have a question for y'all. I have a Hallmark card program that I use to make some of my birthday, get well, etc. cards. I personalize them on the computer then add embellishments after printing them. Does this count as *making a card*? I just looked at all the challenges and must say I'm a tad lot overwhelmed!

A card like this seems as “countable” as one based on a pre made PL card or cut apart. You can count them Easy Peasy by size, and add up the time making them @10 points per hour. And when you have a dozen, you can chalk up the bonus points for the twelve card challenge.
