Just came back from filling dh's car, $4.10 in suburban Chicago, less than 2 weeks ago it was $2.79. DD filled her car this morning in the SF Bay area, $6.29. Both 87 grade.
And then I watch the news and realize we aren't suffering at all.

The place I usually go to is reporting $5.65.
Costco is at $5.44. But I am not waiting in that line. People on Nextdoor say people start lining up after 5AM (they open at 6). I haven't driven by, but I am sure the line is snaking out into the street.

$4.27 is the cheapest I saw today. I had to do an unusually large amount of driving over the past week. I will fill up tomorrow for the third time in 10 days. But, I'll be sticking a lot closer to home for a while after that. I hope.

Costco in Lodi, CA was $5.19 for low yesterday. The Friday before it was $4.65 at the same station. Line was about 8 min yesterday. Looked super long but wasn’t bad once you got thru the bottleneck.

Just checked the prices. Costco is $3.99/premium, but the lines are unreal and I'm not waiting in them. HEB is my backup and they are $4.24/midgrade and $4.53/premium. On Monday I gassed up at HEB and paid $3.96/midgrade.

$3.89. Cheapest is Costco and Sams, but the discount is actually quite lame at 3.83. Not sure why that is, it’s normally 15/25c cheaper.

$6.20 a gallon…Bay Area Chevron. I drive 70 miles round trip to work, and I cannot carpool. It would take over 2 hours and many transfers to go by bus! (and thru some bad areas).

Yes what is happening in Ukraine is heart breaking but I am over this whole won't you pay $1 more to help because our gas doesn't come from Russia.
Hardly any Russian gas is used in the US. Ca has its own damn gas and I am over gas corps making bank on what is happening in Ukraine.
Middle class and lower class families struggle as is and now these damn gas prices. No one should choose between medicine and gas or food and gas or whatever and gas.

In my part of S.E. Qld (Australia), I'm paying $1.90 a litre. With 1lt = 3.8 gallons, it equates to $7.22 a gallon. In Brisbane (Queenslands capital city, an hour from me) it's about $2.20 a litre, or $8.36 a gallon.

In the UK the highest according to the motoring organizations is £1.87 Litre and the lowest is £1.43 with an average price of £1.59 per litre across the country. A US gallon ( it's different to a UK gallon) is equivalent to 4 UK litres. At today's conversion rate that would work out at $8.28 per US gallon for the average £1.59 ( $2.07) litre price. I paid £1.79 a litre the other day.  |

Currently here where I live it is $4.39 a gallon. Up by probably $.80 over the last three weeks. Our local grocery store has a reward program where you get $.10 off a gallon with every hundred dollars that you spend however they also have deals where are you can get extra bonus points by buying certain things. So the last time I filled up I saved $1.20 per gallon.
Costco is $4.15 a gallon and those prices have been pretty steady for about four days.

Last I looked, it was $4.25. I have to head out today and probably full up. It's probably $4.30+ right now.
While I understand how it works, I still think it's price gouging on OPEC's part.

I filled up last week at $4.35/gal, and I only gas up once a month as I mostly stay at home these days. At Costco today, the price is $5.15/gal--it's been increasing daily. For the past couple of months, the gas lines at Costco are packed and back up into the main street. Since I'm able to, I go shortly after the gas station opens when there is no line, I'd gas up elsewhere for the additional $1.50/fill up rather than wait the 40 mins or so in those lines.

I paid 1.64/L Cdn yesterday which is the best price I've seen in the past few weeks. Using the online converter, that would be 4.85/gal US. It was 1.82/L Cdn a few days ago or 5.38/gal US. I'm in Southern Ontario.
