I'd be annoyed because I don't want people talking to me or any noise on a flight. And where are the flight attendants on this flight that people are allowed to be standing in the aisle?

I'd have my ear buds in listening to my music and reading. It would be loud enough so all the swear words could be heard.

The last flight I was on the sassy flight attendant went on a rant about how rude it was to listen to anything out loud and that anyone who turned on a movie or music on her flight better have earphones on 🤣🤣
Best flight ever.
I would have been lodging complaints with corporate about the flight in the OP.
The poor dude in the plaid shirt right next to the guitar does not look happy.

Also did they change the mask rule on flights in the States? We still have to wear them up here.

Also did they change the mask rule on flights in the States? We still have to wear them up here. We still had to wear them when we flew two weeks ago. Maybe it’s changed since then? I’d be lighting up my call button and would definitely complain to corporate. It’s totally unacceptable. And as someone on Twitter pointed out - imagine what the reaction would be if Muslims broke into religious song on a plane. It would not be this.

I keep thinking of the partiers from Quebec to Cancun that were fined for not wearing masks, partying, etc.

Masks on public transportation was extended this week in the USA, so there is that violation. Last time I flew, staying in your seat with seat belt on was a policy.
I would not be thrilled to be on the plane.
ETA:
WTH? I just listened to the song. IMO, this ranks right up with being forced to listen to a JW's testimony at my door. Nope, would be complaining away. Flight attendants need to make him sit down and shut up. I am shocked that they were not making him take his seat and shut up.

I would be super annoyed. It wouldn’t matter what song they were singing.

I sent this to our close friends. He's a militant atheist and a good guitar player. He's also 6'7". I would love to put him on the flight with that guy. It wouldn't end well.
Personally, I would have loud, choice words for his singing and musicianship as well as his rudeness, arrogance, and stupidity.

Fuck that. 🤷🏼♀️
Religion is like a penis: It’s fine to have one. It’s fine to be proud of it, but don’t whip it out in public.

I’d be losing my mind.
Sit down & shut up.
ETA…it has nothing to do with the religious nature of the song. Flying is miserable enough without someone disturbing the entire plane.

I wonder where this plane boarded.
Not a passenger on the plane has a mask. In the USA, masks are required on all public transportation. I could understand if we saw one or two without a mask, but an entire plane full of unmasked folks......

I looked again and he seems to be the only one. All the folks at the front of the plane are without a mask also.

I could understand if we saw one or two without a mask, but an entire plane full of unmasked folks...... My first thought was that this must be a couple of years ago with no masks on anyone. Then I noticed the man behind the man in the plaid shirt has a white mask on. I would be really angry if I was on this flight. I don't care what your religion is, you don't have the right to shove it down my throat in an enclosed area that I cannot escape from. And it wouldn't matter what the religion was. I would feel the same way if he were playing a type of music that I loved. Time and place, buddy. Time and place. My only hope is that the passengers are all from the same church and are enjoying this. His arrogance in making the assumption that everyone on the plane wants to hear this is beyond rude. It astounds me that no one is getting up to stop him. I guess I will be adding those wax ear plugs to my purse when I fly again. If I don't, then there will be a video of me going off on some guitar guy floating around the net.

Sad, wobbly praise band voices and a poorly tuned guitar? Sit down. And frankly, the religious content does bother me. So many people think that religious material is benign and inoffensive and should be OK anywhere. It’s not. I don’t want to hear that on my plane the same way they don’t want to hear someone playing WAP. Or for that matter, how about I whip out my ukulele and lead all the kids in the plane through all the kids’ songs I know? Totally inoffensive, right? No one should mind! (It would at least be in tune.)

Like Gennifer said, keep your fucking religion to yourself.

This reminds me to get noise cancelling headphones the next time I fly. Totally annoying no matter what kind of music they are playing.

One of my kids had a teacher in high school that would do this. Not just religious songs, but all annoying AF. I asked him once if he could just not. He was seriously offended. I must have been the first one to voice out loud to him that he was not great. All I said was "please don't"... I still can picture the look on his face. Any event from that point on, as soon as he picked up the guitar, I got up and walked out.

I knew before opening the thread what you were posting. We talked about this tonight and my plan is to have AC/DC's Highway to Hell on my phone and play it is loud as possible, bopping up and down the aisle, until they stop. My apologizes to fellow passengers.

How do you get a guitar case into an airplane cabin? I know it doesn’t fit in that little metal thingy that shows you if your carry on is compliant.
