The balcony appearance made me quite surprisingly emotional. It was clearly an effort for her to do but it wouldn’t have been the same without her at the end of such a memorable weekend. It seemed to me that it meant a lot to her too 😊 Me too gar and when those trumpeters started and all that crowd started singing the National Anthem. It must have been electrifying there.

LOVED Sir Elton's performance (via video). He hasn't looked or sounded that wonderful in a while! Loved Queen/Adam Lambert's set too.

Interesting that the one of the first criticisms came from the Sussex hanger-on and mouth piece Omid Scobie. He's since deleted that post. Sounds like the Sussex squad have no issues taking pot shots at a little kid first. The live feed I was watching yesterday didn't show all of Louis antics....but I am seeing a mix of criticism for Kate and sympathy for a kid that has to sit through hours of what would have been mostly boring for him. It's ridiculous to suggest that Kate & Louis aren't being criticized. I was a bit shocked when I saw all the things he did, he seems like he's a real handful compared to how generally well behaved the other two are. And I think it's very likely Kate was a bit frazzled and embarrassed by how he behaved. Anyone who says "imagine the backlash is Archie did this" needs to go and spend some time on social media. Louis is being called everything from autistic to "little bratty asshole" and Kate is a bad mother. So let's ignore what is actually being said and instead play "what if" in a scenario that didn't happen and pretend it would be worse. But I don't think I've ever heard Kate claim that she was the perfect parent or that she had the perfect kids...and at least her kids get to leave the house. Louis misbehaved & they are being criticized for it, and I'm sure they'll deal with it...unlike the Sussex dummy-spitters who think no-one should ever be allowed to say a negative word about them

How many of us parents have NOT been embarrassed by the antics of our children occasionally in public! I’d not seen any of the above before the post here except one photo of Louis with his tongue out and Kate giving him the mother stare! I don’t know any kid of that age who could have sat through that lengthy pageant without playing up and you know what? I’m glad he did! I think his behaviour is far more expected than a child who would sit still for that time.

I loved how informal the Royal Box was during the pageant.

I loved how informal the Royal Box was during the pageant. The only criticism I have is poor George in a suit and tie. I know it befits his position but I wished he was in something more age appropriate.

Yes, it was probably appropriate for the Trooping of the Colour but he did look too formal wearing a tie to watch the pageant.

I found some of his antics quite funny - it's what a "normal" 4 year old would do when they've been sitting somewhere for hours. I wouldn't have expected Archie to have been any different either if he had been there. Why do many on social media expect far more from these three children than any other children of the same age? He obviously enjoyed some of it !! ![](https://i2-prod.mylondon.news/incoming/article24151275.ece/ALTERNATES/s1200c/0_Queen-Elizabeth-II-Platinum-Jubilee-2022-Platinum-Pageant.jpg)

They'll never win with some out there.

I'm not a mother, but even I recognize the antics of an overtired four year old. Louis/Kate or Archie/Meghan, I don't really see why anyone would care to create backlash over it. Even kids with royal lineage are still kids.

I saw the clip last night, and this picture makes me LAUGH every time I see it. It just shows that even royal, those kids have a limit too, and we are all parents who have to deal with it! http://instagram.com/p/CebsPe6uNhO That same IG site also posted: Same goes for Mike Tindall. Mila was at one point licking his face, and as you can see covering his mouth!🤣 Only an emotionally stable, hands on parent would be able handle the situation as well and Kate and Mike did. LOL!

Where exactly was the person literally advocating for child abuse? The tweet that was posted above where it asked why he wasn't taken out for a bit? Often parents take kids out of a situation if they are misbehaving. If a child is throwing a fit in a store isn't it typical to leave the store with the kid? Doesn't mean they are going to the car to whale on the kid. I don't think Louis was acting out enough to warrant being pulled from the situation, but I don't see suggesting that as advocating for abuse either. Not sure who that tweet is from (meaning I don't know his connection to the Royal Family) but he seems every bit as unhinged as he is accusing H and M as being. I thought Kate handled the situation well and I don't see anything outlandish by the way Louis behaved. Regarding George in a suit, I agree he should have been dressed a little more casual. Doesn't necessarily mean he needed to be on jeans and a tee, but some comfy slacks and a button down shirt could have been a happy medium.

Even kids with royal lineage are still kids. While I agree with you, I can name 3 peas right off the top of my head who would have called Archie a spoiled brat just like his father, said Meghan & Harry were raising him to be an entitled brat who just wants attention or Archie thinks the rules don't apply to him. I absolutely agree this is typical 4 year old behavior for a kid at a boring event. I just think the hypocrisy and Meghan & Harry bashing is over the top and not always justified.

I can name 3 peas right off the top of my head who would have called Archie a spoiled brat WOW you better buy a lotto ticket with those psychic abilities of yours. You can predict the future, in an alternative universe. That's quite a talent. Perhaps show us all where a negative thing has been said about Archie somewhere here. It is possible that people can look at a privileged adult man and think he's acting like a sulky spoiled brat...and still NOT attack his toddler son. It takes quite some mental gymnastics for the Sussex sugars & hangers-on to be among the first ones to attack a little kid while at the same time claiming they'd be victims if the same thing happened to Archie.

I love out Military Bands - carry on chaps ![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/Ivm7lm0DayrhoRpwvCeH.jpg) I love our policemen even more. A handful of Animal Rebellion protesters at the Mall during the week-end thought, wrongly, they could disrupt the parade.
