once this thread starts going, I won't be able to keep up with everyone's projects, so the "like" button will be my helper. Sorry I can't keep up to compliment your project individually because I have to work during the week, and people are posting all throughout the day. Same! I always start the month off vowing to keep up with my comments, but I end up falling way behind very quickly. I tend to mainly comment on pages in our Flickr gallery, so I apologise to those of you who don't have Flickr and whose pages I don't comment on very often. I enjoy seeing everyones pages, I get so much inspiration from them.

Linda, your Star Wars pages are wonderful. I love the way you have used 4x6 photos and still found places to embellish. I love the Legos papers. They really look like they are embossed, not printed. The banners tie all three pages together.~Your red, white and blue page is so patriotic. The tall Lego strips are reminiscent of the Twin Towers. Beautiful, heartwarming page for July.~That Legos car is amazing. I can’t believe it is life size! Glad you had a family member standing by to show the size.~The Legos bunny page has the prettiest paper. I love the Spring colors. You find the best papers!!~The Sketchy Sat. page turned out wonderful. I didn’t think it would work for the smaller size, but now I may try it. Love that photo and the fussy cut flowers.~ I love the grids you have done on your flowers and the double Legos pages. I am planning to do some scraplifting of your designs.~Your sunset photos are gorgeous. Perfect amount of embellishment that doesn’t distract from the beauty of the photos.~I love the dimension showing in your Legos Space center pages. If you have no point of reference (like people next to it) it would appear to be photos of the actual Space center. Amazing! grammadee, you have love in the gallery on your clever “cards” card. I love it. scrappyrabbit, you have love in the gallery on your Sketchy Sat. page. Great job. Love that copper foiled paper for your Arizona pages. Wow! FurryP, I love those cards. Each has such an uplifting sentiment and delightful die cuts. I think my favorite is the last one with the black and white background. Those die cut flowers have such dimension and are so pretty. wordyphotogbabe, your page about you is beautiful. I love, love, that die cut background backed by pretty patterned paper. What a great affirmation statement this page makes.~I love the layering of your photos on the strawberry picking page. Beautiful, classy design.~ Cute photo of the two of you on Moment Captured. Those stripes lead the eye right to your photo. Nicely done!

Thank you nylene - the Paper Wizard PP are embossed - they came that way (the red on the Star Wars and the red and blue on the flag layout) but the Reminisce and Scrapbook Customs are printed and flat - they did a good job with shadows to make them look embossed.

Looks like it has been a busy crafty week! Starting back at page ONE, Linda, your LegoLand pages are really cool. I love the "really simple" double page spread--great use of the cutaparts. You may not use alot of paper, but every piece seems perfectly chosen. Love the use of Lego pp for all the different pages. I would never have thought to make Lego pp into banners, but it works for you. Glad that you mixed it up in this album with all the different page designs, and then with the safari pp and the pretty florals. Your sunset photos are beautiful and a perfect way to wind up your album. Congratulations on getting another adventure {literally} in the books! FurryP, those cards on page one are really pretty. Anyone who receives one of these will feel really special, and it will brighten their day. wordyphotogbabe, those pages are STUNNING!!! "Happy" makes my happy just to look at it: it radiates joy! Is that a filled cutfile? So beautiful and so much work, but so worth it! And your happy smile is contagious. The strawberry picking photos are wonderful with the rich greens and the busy family, with the pops of yellow and red setting them off and that woodgrain the perfect background for them. Love the story: you ARE a determined lady! Moment Captured is another well designed page. Love the stacked photo cluster. What is the manufacturer of that background pp? I love it. scrappyrabbit and Chinagirl828, there is love in the Gallery.

Linda I really love the blue and orange on your two page layout. Great design! I have that same EP paper for Animal Kingdom photos I'm going to scrap! I like the addition of the black lego paper. The carousel embellishment is the perfect touch on your Legoland page. I'm going to remember that color scheme for scrapping Star Wars! I'm very inspired by the Ninjago page. I have a couple of funny Ninja t-shirts for my son that would be fun to scrap. I also have that QK block die. Back in the day when dies were SO expensive, it was a splurge for me. Great use of PP scraps on the Belle page. I love your nature photos with the floral PP. The yellowish-orangeish cardstock is the perfect shade for your sunset photos. I love that space shuttle sticker. Chinagirl828 You are so great at layering. I know this sounds dumb, but I can't do torn edges! It's like an animal got hold of the paper. Yours are awesome. grammadee I love how personalized you made the birthday card. Love the addition of playing cards. scrappyrabbit I love your page design! All those beautiful PP layers and great embellishment clusters. Is that the Prima line with the cacti? So very pretty! FurryP such lovely cards! I appreciate the review on the card kits. I'll be on the look out when I am near a Tuesday Mornings store. wordyphotogbabe I can see the joy on your face. Such sweet photos! I love everything about the strawberry picking photos. The wood grain, the yellow chevron and of course the strawberries.

Okay. I am going to share here the pages I put together the first week of July. If they are all in one place, they are easier to keep track of challenge points. The first page I put together this quarter, and the last one I popped into the Gallery, is my sample for tomorrow's Sketchy Saturday challenge. It is also my attempt to meet my own challenge of the Power of ONE. I am also using it for the sample for the July Donna Challenge. It will be the cover page for my summer album this year. Summer Title Page 2022 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Still working on sketches, I decided to tackle a couple posted by AussieMeg , and put together these double page spreads--the first is for Sketchy Saturday July 9th, and the second is for June 25th: Cruisin with Mickey by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Let's Hit the Beach by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This two pager I finished today. I was inspired by the mood board in the challenges. Loved the grid and the crossword style title (and the giant &). Of course I had to spread it to two pages... Family Fall Fotos by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Seven pages created & shared (14). Fifteen photos (15) and one themed page (10) for the July Donna challenge. great layouts grammadee - love the summery yellows for Charlie's pic - what a pretty kitty. Love how the torn layers resemble waves for the Cruisin' layout. Love the tag and the ocean critter embellishments for the beach layout! But my favourite is the fall photos - the colours are perfect - that grid and the title - gorgeous

July 9th Sketchy Saturday - floral PP, embellishment, and alpha are all Pinkfresh - not sure about the pink PP, heart is a punch I tried to do Christmas in July but my mojo wasn't feeling it. I did get one layout done before packing it in for now. PP is from a Michaels Christmas pad some years ago, tag is Pinkfresh, heart is punched This one is Reminisce Game Night except the yellow puzzle piece - it's Simple Stories

Oh wow, lots of beauties so far this month. Shout out to wordyphotogbabe - amazing colours and textures/layers, love love love. And scrappyrabbit - I ESPECIALLY like the foil cacti background. You really nailed the balance in both - there is a satisfying flow through both your double page layouts, great pages!!! Linda - swoon over "dusty" - everything there is just lovely and lets the kitten colours shine. Is that a popped up heart? grammadee, AussieMeg - obviously love em all, but I want to leave love in the gallery for you. Same to you nylene - you seem to really have your mojo working for you the past couple of weeks! My first for the month took 2 weekends because it was a "big" story to tell, and I needed to figure out how to work bad photos and good story. My DH says this is one of his fave layouts ever because of the story. layout act and react by kirstendrew, on Flickr

I decorated some BH PL journal cards for random July 2021 photos. I added the journaling after taking the photo. I stamped directly on the summer journal card and it didn't work. So, the 'Ugh late nights' is referring to a photo on the page. That's why it's so close to the title. I used Pink Fresh Studio chipboard, HL baseball sticker, Michael's chipboard star (VERY OLD) , October Afternoon roller stamp, EP stickers, and I cut the word July from an EP diecut pack. Also Everyday Explorers Epic Fail Prompts and Quoted stamp sets.

A two pager and a card for me today: This LO is for the 3rd quarter Throw Down recipe. Old papers from LYB and BG. Each page divided into four. Action photos. Aliteration. Old stickers from Studio Calico. For even MORE action, two sets of photos are attached on the left page with brads, so can be swiveled to show the pic's underneath! POINTS: One card 5x7 created & shared & scored Easy Peasy (17). Two pages created & shared (4). Eleven photos for the Donna challenge (11). Re-1 recipe (10). P-1 thicker (1), P-3 three patterns (3), P-4 one solid (1), P-6 diecuts (5), P-8 scraps (1), P-9 brads and gems (8), S/I-2 squares & rectangles (19), S/I-3 photos away from home (11), S/I-9 stars (9), S/I-14 hex pp (1), T-1 inked edges (1), T-4 layers (2), T-6 star die (1), T12 distressed (1), T-13 doodled circle (1), W/T-4 monthly letters (7), W/T-6 fonts (2)Th-2 away from home (5), N/S-1 nine stars (9), N/S-2 4x6's (7), N/S-4 12x12 (6). Total: 143.
And a card for dd's birthday next week. The piggie reference is to her collection of pig ornaments she took over from her grandfather when he passed. She and I were also born in a Chinese year of pigs. The diecuts on the inside were cut and assembled by someone else, gifted to me by a Pea. refugeepea - those PL cards look great - love your decorating! grammadee - glad you got to scrap despite the tech issues. The layout is awesome - so much action and colour - love it. But that card? It's steals my heart - pigs were my favourite animal as a child and I still like them - and that is an absolutely adorable card with the little piggies on the farm!
