craftymom101 - I really like how you encircled the photo with embellishments on 3 sides - and especially like the mini banners along the bottom.

Love those rays, pantsonfire, and now I need to hear more detail about the "old white crayon trick". Your fireworks photos are amazing, Linda. The big red mat displays them beautifully. And the white border on the night shot of the family helps that one to pop, drawing the eye right to it. MARIBETHR your mixed media card looks beautiful. And like alot of work! Love all the depth and texture. craftymom101 your page is amazing. So full of colour, yet really easy to look at. Great photo of you two, and I love how everything else on the page is stacked up to push it forward. AussieMeg, I may be "forced" to lift YOUR lift! I hope to look at your page more closely on Flickr.

grammadee I used a ray stencil I had. Added pixie spray to the back side so it wouldn't shift on me. Colored in the open areas of the stencil (where you would add ink) with the white crayon. I made sure to outline it and then colored in. Removed the stencil and spritzed the Dylusion Shimmer ink over the area a few times. Then immediately blotted it with paper toweling. I love that it isn't perfect. I am going to try it today with a white (or yellow) colored pencil with another stencil (stars) to see how it turns out.

This one is based on a Shimelle sketch. I have no idea what brand the PP is - hexagons were punched just before my new punch broke (sigh)...original plan was to have blue ones also. Circles are punched, stamps are Stampin' Up Pretty Kitty (DH picked them up this week at a thrift store for me)

Having some more fun with sprays and crayons/colored pencils. Today I used white and yellow Twistables then used various sprays to create a galaxy look or the sky. The yellow rays turned more green due to the blues I used for the ink spray. Fun fun fun! And messy. Dh is going to cut a box down for a splat box for me. http://instagram.com/p/Cf4rzfFhkuO

those look like fun pantsonfire -I especially like the shooting stars This one is from an SG sketch - modified quite a bit. Background PP is DCWV Everyday Essentials, Red stars is Paper Studio, not sure on the blue dots. Die cuts are from 2002 - MME. Alphas are Paper Studio, banner is fussy cut from a Paper Studio sticker. I think the stripes are Doodlebug and the clear stickers are O'Scrap. Little circles are punched.

grammadee nylene AussieMeg kitbop scrappyrabbit praise left in the gallery Linda I love the soft colors and the page design you used for the Dusty page. I really like your the design for your Christmas pages. Lots of photos, but they stand out. I LOVE the puzzle piece PP. The yellow sticker is just the right touch. The Fourth of July pages are great! I struggle with busy PP too. Perfect solution. I really like the 3D stickers. You did a great job with that kitty stamp. I will love MME diecuts until the day I die! I still have a few. Great page design on the Fourth of July page with the banner. pantsonfire that is a really cool technique! Mixed media intimidates me. craftymom101 I love everything about your 4th of July page! Especially what you did with the embellishments.

pantsonfire, I love all your experimenting with the sprays and crayons. I think they turned out so pretty. I don’t have a lot of sprays but I think I want to try that with a stencil. Thanks for sharing. ~Wow, I just saw the rest of the pages you did with the sprays. What a beautiful technique! Linda, your fireworks photos are amazing. I’m glad you made it a 2-pager so you could use all those different colors and designs in the sky.~Great use of your hexagon punch on you kitty page. I’m sorry it stopped working. I really like the paper you used from corner to corner. Very attractive design.~I love your little chef boy on 4th of July page. I used to have some of those and loved using them. It’s so fun to see older product added to current photos. Your papers on these two pages are perfect. These turned out great.~Cute smores page. I love that smores don’t need a campfire, but can be made in the backyard, or even the microwave. Great roasting embellishments. AussieMeg, grammadee and scrappyrabbit, you have love in the gallery. craftymom101, I love your 4th of July layout. That photo angle is so cool. I love all the embellishments gathered on 3 sides of that pretty photo. The spatters and tiny embellishments are just perfect. Beautiful page.

My Flickr acct is almost full so I doubled up these layouts that go next to each other in the album. They are landscape 8.5x11. They are not my favorite layouts, they got way too busy, but they are finished and going in the album! Halloween & Family Fun pages

this one is another go at 25 June Sketchy Saturday. Papers are all from a batch DH found at a thrift store for me. Flowers are fussy cut except the white which were from deep in my stash. Clear nuvo drops for flower centres (they haven't dried yet in the pic) and oyster grey nuvo drops randomly

Great way to use that sketch, Linda. You grow beautiful flowers. The fussy cut flowers are so pretty on this design. You did a wonderful job with that center white space. I haven't tried that sketch yet, but will use yours as an example when I do mine. Very pretty.

nylene - I love all the little halloween embellishments on your layouts - I never think to do landscape pages. And that title on the Gingerbread page is fabulous - love the house and the gingerbread people! And thank you for the compliments - I can't claim credit for the fireworks pictures -DS30 took them. Thank you scrappyrabbit - the flowers are zinnias that I grew from seed last summer. I love the shoe paper on your sketchy saturday layout -you did a great job on that sketch - and that quote is awesome. What fun Easter pictures and I like the squares of PP for the background - very pretty. The cards are a great way to use scraps and work perfectly with the butterflies. infochick - thank you - my son (30) took the photos - he did a great job capturing the fireworks - it was hard narrowing down the photos

grammadee and nylene , all your layouts are so colorful! I like those "Alex" photos nylene . Especially the one with the frame. Cute cards grammadee . Especially like the pieced pig. Linda , my favorite is the kitty one. The papers you picked are soft like the kitty. I like that. AussieMeg , CUTE! The pet LOs always get my vote. kitbop , not sure where the bad photos are, but it looks good to me! refugeepea , those cards turned out cute. I need to make some. (stopping at page 2 because I can see page 3 is filled with more great stuff! Will come back for that page)

pantsonfire , if I hadn't accidentally clicked to IG, I would have missed out on your other samples. But then I saw you posted those further down. Those turned out great. I really like the blue and yellow one. Linda , LOL about the paper, you did a great job, but even if busy, the paper is great red, white, and blue paper. Your Shimelle sketch LO kind of inspires me to do something similar. I'm going to have think about it a bit. I like the colors. The BBQ layout is making me hungry. MARIBETHR, are those actual metal pieces or chipboard? Must have been a fun class. AussieMeg , you did good with that scraplift! The colors/patterns you combined look very good together. craftymom101 , love everything about your layout. But...we're going to need a Finny layout. Just saying. scrappyrabbit , all your LOs are so colorful with scenic photos. You do a great job picking out the papers. Especially liked that AZ one with the copper(?) background. Ok...stopping again. They are coming too fast. I'm going to use my friend the button.
