I think many people bought the PP kit because of its price point. The main kit is really pricey this year. I didn't remember it being this pricey, but it was the same last year. It's nuts. oh wow! I didn't realize it either (but Im sure I snarked on it last year!) |

My household just went up to two foster puppies so I missed the December Daily order period opening ceremony madness while we went to pick up little Tilly! There goes my record of posting Effie's classic "May the odds be ever in your favour!"...  I hope everyone got what they wanted. I'm glad to see Liz's kit enjoy such great success this year although, selfishly, that means I can't get my hands on one now. And those lovely white and gold foil chipboard numbers are gone, too. Oh well, c'est la vie. I'll snuggle the pups extra tonight to forget about the FOMO.  I just realised... No extra paper card sets this year? When the main kit is very low on them? No wonder Liz's mini kit sold out. People still love the cards + pocket pages + 6x8 album for DD. Not sure why they're not capitalising on that again this year. It would've been an easy extra 8 bucks for a coordinating card set. |

I'm wondering if they reduced the number of PP mini kits this year, since last years hadn't sold out. I think many people bought the PP kit because of its price point. The main kit is really pricey this year. Also, fewer cards in te main kit + geared for 10x8. It just made more sense all around to pick up Liz's mini if you are a "traditional" DD-er. |

I think its nuts that they will let you foster but not adopt! Crazy! She's our first pup's litter sister! We got the feisty one who is going to her forever family this weekend and we're now keeping her small, timid little sister until early next week when her forever mama is back from summer vacay and can come pick her up. It's all a bit chaotic right now with the reunion of the sisters but I promise to take + post a pic of freshly washed Tilly ASAP (poor thing is not very clean so I'm trying to get to that in the next couple of hours). She's possibly even cuter than her "big" sis! ❤️ ETA: It's a little nuts, mom, I agree but they're trying to make sure these dogs don't end up in the system again. I kind of get it and we're only short-term emergency placements but I'm also disappointed deep down. I'm enjoying the snuggles and playtime as much as possible. I am without a doubt 100% a dog mama. This has been so much fun! Haven't been bothered one bit by the 4 AM puppy bladder walks or witching hours. This is the life for me. Raised with dogs and hoping to be able to age with dogs. |

I think a lot of people will have spent too much on other lines and spend less (or not at all) with her. I agree. I was never going to buy Ali's because she just isn't my style, but I bet there are some people that might have held off. Crazy how fast things are selling out this year, but I am glad you all seem to have mostly gotten what you wanted! |

I think they missed the boat by not offering more 6x8-specific items. Nearly everything is either 10x8 or a bundle with all sizes. But some papers don't trim well, and some envelopes won't fit right. If there was a 6x8 paper pack or a journal card pack, I'd be all over it! Shrug. |

I am so glad the pups both have good furever homes, but sorry they are not going to get to stay with you. You are a good egg to be fostering them though. Can you not get a portable pup as a pet? Or a cat you can push around in a stroller? I was 100% dog person growing up, but as an adult was adopted by a cat and I tell you they can be really really great. Now I just realize I'm a sucker for a fuzzy face. |

I almost pulled the trigger and got Liz’s album and kit to make a gift album but I held off and I am a little sad, but happy for those who got it. I’m glad to see this release selling well. I got everythingon my priority list that I wanted and several items sold out so glad I shopped for those right away. I agree on the love for the 6x8 album kit. I may get the digitals of the PP kit later. Glad no rush on digitals!! I will be watching to see how the rest of the day goes |

That seems like that should be mentioned a bit more. I imagine sales of the "past" kit would sell better, if people had a preview of the class.

Hope everyone is having a fun day so far!
I stayed strong and did not buy anything. Yesterday I pulled my supplies and started playing with them. I have 2020 main kit together with 2020 FJ collection that will be used as color scheme this year, very close to this year offerings. Had a lot of black in it. I also have some kraft tags from past kits that are begging to be used as well.
I also pulled all my untouched prima, Studio Calico, FJ stencils and silk screens and am ready to use them this year.
I might exchange my 2021 Falala album for floral album at some point as I am still not sure if I will ever use it as I am not a fan of dark inside covers.

Baaah! Their FOMO sales tactic got me on the 10x8 papers. I pay $1+ for the 12x12 individual papers in the scrapbook stores, so I guess 18 for $10 isn’t too, too awful. I am so ashamed, hahahahaha!

Well, the die cut pages were not on my list originally, even though I loved them, and then I heard them say the quantities were low, and I panic bought them. I guess I didn’t realize my love for them until I heard I might miss out on them. This better be one cute December album after I have apparently decided to go all in😂🙈. No more quantity updates for me I guess 😂😂😂 I truly regretted not getting them last year so they were in my original cart this time around, lol. Yes I can use the digitals are recreate them, but they are never the same as what Ali sells. Same here. |

I missed out on the Christmas Stencils too, so I just looked on Scrapbook .com and there are 881(!!!) Christmas stencils. I'm sure there are probably quite a few that are similar to the AE stencils, so there's hope since I'm signing up for Product Play and the stencil set is one of the projects. I didn't even look on SSS yet. Just an idea for anyone else in the same product class with no product boat as me.

I would think that the stencils would be the easiest thing to make more of next to paper.
Maybe if enough people hit notify, they'll do another order.
But it's definitely possible to make them with a silhouette. I have cut them by hand before. It just takes a million years and they don't look as clean. But sometimes that's the look you want.

The stencils were at a good price, and the examples for how to use them were lovely. I have never been much of a stencil person, though, so I knew better than to buy them. Sorry for those of you who had your heart set on them. They will be offered digitally, so maybe those of you who have a Silhouette can still access them. That's what I'm planning to do. I checked out with a few things first like the floral album and PP mini kit and went back for the stencils and they were already gone. I've just ordered some stencil material and will buy the digital file and cut my own. |

Good to hear that most got the pieces they were interested in.
I staggered out of bed just before 2am NZ time and got my order. Snagged everything I wanted to except the stencils which went super fast.
I agree it would have been good to have more 6x8 products on offer - many of the 10x8 papers and items would not work well or at all in a 6x8.
I'm still debating about the messy circle stamps and whether to get the physical or digital product. The stamps set prices do seem quite steep for the size so I might try and make do with digital.

I loved very similar patterned paper from Merry Days collection and used it in my DD. I might still have some of it!
As far as this pattern as a wallpaper, when we were searching for a house, we looked at one which had a very tiny panic room off the closet with very similar floral silk wallpaper. I guess there is something in florals to calm you down when you are locked in a tiny panic room space!

I seriously do not understand why FJ still has only given one sneak. They release their line tomorrow. Give the people something to look forward to!
Edited to add: my budget is busted so no getting FJ for me. The reality is, their DD papers are never my favorite because of the red and greens they choose. I do love their embellishments though.
