mom and sleepingbooty Elif Sahin has released her traveler's notebook kits I really like the White Christmas set. It is $26 + $6 USD. It includes the digitals I like that the patterned papers are loose. It is too bad she is not shipping to the UK or EU.  The other set is called Home for the Holidays. I have some of it digitally. It is cute but I think too bright for me. I do love the red word strip stickers.

Oh my goodness, I love the fox in that collection. And the wooden ornaments to go with it! My daughter loves foxes. Is there any place that ships Artemio to the US? I shall begin my hunt now... Edit: Well. Now I want their Fall in Love collection too! Still searching! Edit again: They have another collection, Splendid Christmas, that has lovely foliage and ornaments. The diecut/wood ornaments are so pretty. I should not have opened the holiday catalog, ha! Omg, also love the fox! But not the pink so much. I received my kit and cardstock stickers from Elle's Studio on Thursday. And I decided that it was too light so I went back and ordered the paper, more stickers, the hearts and stars, and an alphabet. I don't know why I was being so stingy with my DD kit but it just didn't seem like enough products once I actually had the chance to see everything.

We are being prepared left and right by our governments that there will be power cuts.  How many Dirty Limes for this war to stop? I really like the White Christmas set. It is $26 + $6 USD. She deserves some extra success and recognition in the scrappy world. So glad this first physical release of hers will sell out. Hopefully she'll bring other products to the market (and learn that she doesn't need to do anything VAT-wise for EU customers except declare the amount paid for each EU order on the parcel and let the European post offices figure out the VAT to collect). |

I didn't buy any of Elin's kits, but wanted to. I just couldn't really justify it after buying Ali's stuff. Going forward, I hope she gives people the heads up if she is doing a kit so we can plan ahead for it.
I would, however, also love to pick up pieces of the kits if she ever had them for sale. I didn't need a whole kit because of purchasing from Ali, but most certainly could have justified buying bits and pieces of a kit to add to what I already had, lol.

I am so very ready for the DD boxing period to end already! I understand why they set it up the way do. They want to encourage us to just keep adding to cart over and over, but it feels like it goes on for way too long. Just a little pointless rant. I knew when I bought the stuff what the process was. It just feels like it drags on foreverš. I donāt really even feel tempted by the other stuff anymore, Iāve looked at it all way too much, and I just want the stuff I bought so I can feel excited about it again š

I've managed 4 more days in my 2020 album. Just pretending 2021 doesn't exist at for now. I have had some fun watching a bunch of 2021 DD process videos that I missed last year. I saw some very cute projects using Elle's Studio products and I'm thinking of grabbing some stuff from their 2022 collection since I still haven't bought anything yet this year. Maybe I'll use that as my "treat" if I actually finish 2020.
The FJ collection was meh for me. I'm sad since they are closing, but the colors are so blah (that green is just yuck for Christmas), so it was an easy pass. I'll be curious if they end up doing something in the future. Agree with everyone though, the shipping never made sense and more than once I had abandoned my cart because of it.
I don't work in a TN but love Elif Sahin so hopefully she'll do so well this year, she'll think about some 6x8 kits next year. Her designs are lovely. I buy a lot of her digital products, it would be fun to get some physical products too.

Its so easy. This is how you do it.
I did it! I do not have a fabric blade. I just pretended I was cutting glitter cardstock but used all the other settings listed here. I put my blade at 10 and cut twice. I did have to use scissors to separate the circles from the felt it was cut from but only in a couple of places. I could have sent it through again but I did two and the top one was fine. I also cut circles out of white cardstock to go inside. I'm on a cutting rampage. |

September 10th: Thinking about DD, you know what might look really good? That piece from the new main kit and that album. Maybe I don't want to just add to my PL album. I had a lot of fun creating full albums. But I still don't really need any more Christmas supplies.
September 19th: That's it. I'm getting it. Merry Christmas to me!

I don't use a fabric blade either, but I do have a regular blade that I designate as a 'fabric blade' so paper doesn't dull it. |

I needed to share with people who would be as excited as I am! I bought tickets for a bus trip to the Christkindl market in Chicago during December!  I've always wanted to go but you could not pay me enough to drive in downtown Chicago let alone at Christmastime. My partner would do it but he wouldn't like it. This way, we get on the bus at the local high school here, spend the day there, and then get driven back and don't have to drive in or find/pay for parking. A couple of my family members heard and were telling me they didn't like it, it was too crowded, etc. but I'm choosing to believe that we will LOVE it & it will be just as magical as I have always thought it would be.  |
