I opened the specialty paper this weekend. So so good. I hope they do a pack like that every year I am still bummed I didn’t order the specialty paper before it sold out. I was trying to be “good” and not order too many things. Since you can’t really replicate it with the digitals, I won’t make the same mistake if they offer a specialty paper pack next year  |

I've been feeling a bit ho-hum about DD this year, simply because I didn't like any of the collections I've seen and I felt my mojo had gone on a trip somewhere without me. Getting hold of pretty things here in UK can be a challenge with limited choices and outrageous international shipping costs/import duty. This morning, however, I got an email with news of this I'm not saying it's all to my taste, but it's something I can work with (in case the stash that sits in boxes under my worktable isn't enough  ) and I felt I wanted to support a UK company putting something together like that at what I thought was a reasonable price - £35 without the 6x8 album, £50 with.  Now my birthday is over (thanks for birthday wishes, btw, in the other thread) I always begin to think more about Christmas and put a few plans together. The timing of the mailshot with that DD kit came right on schedule then! |

I've been loving her October Daily stuff so much this year seeing this pop up this morning is exciting after I've already decided I'm in Christmas mode 😂 https://www.instagram.com/reel/CkLk-fdp5FZ I got my Christmas bucket of goodies down over the weekend though! Still sitting strong in not buying anything new this year 🤞 I think the biggest thing I'm sad about is not having a "2022" chipboard or puffy or something like I've used in the past. It's so dumb and so small! lol I'm still on the out-of-page-protector-smaller-album idea train. Waffling between 4x6 and 4x4 now -- I'm pushing closer to 4x6 for the easiness in not having to crop photos down but there's still time for me to change my mind 😆 |

 An update on my Christmas order from Hey Little Magpie, above, which arrived this morning. I'm feeling pretty good about it all, for what's not to like about such swift ordering and delivery - order Tuesday and have it here on Thursday? I like the contents better IRL than in the preview and am particularly happy with the greens, which go well with the pad of Mittens and Mistletoe which was already in my basket.  In there too, was a bag of bonus bits and pieces which made me smile - it really doesn't take much, does it? Throw a few copper coloured paper clips, some pretty ribbons and a few tags, crystals and shiny paper in a surprise lucky bag together with a candy cane and  one happy customer. |

It's so dumb and so small! lol I saw you got an offer for someone to send you something but if you don't have a silhouette, I'd be happy to cut out some 2022s for you. You could stack and glue them for the dimension of chipboard. An update on my Christmas order from Hey Little Magpie Looks like you got a lot of stuff! Definitely a good value. |

How nice it is to open this thread up this evening and see all these! (My heart may have just grown 2 sizes bigger...  ) jenna - Paper piecing a page (especially a small page) with squares like that is a good idea! And just like that, I'm a little less envious of all the new stuff that I'm just whistling by and not buying.  |

I just won Ali’s product play class for the December daily stuff. Some of the contributors were giving it away on their insta and Amber Dawson just let me know her random number generator picked me. I’m excited - I’m typically too cheap to pay for classes but I had wanted to do it and now I get to! Congrats! The only way I will take the class is if I win a seat too. Still hoping... I entered quite a few IG contributor giveaways, send me some luck! |

I think they spent quite a lot of time overseas and might be making up for lost pandemic time. I don't think designing for her shop has been her priority for a while. I hope that's all it is. |

Yes, that was the one with Jenny Simon that Ali mentioned during run up to the boxing period. I plan to purchase it if it’s not too expensive—Jenny Simon is so talented and creative, and I’m sure her tips and techniques can be used with a variety of products. |

Y'all. We are one month away from December!  It hit me today that I have so much scrapbooking I need to get done before December 1. Like 3 months worth of PL. AND I'll be gone 10 days in November so nothing will get done then. I've got to get busy! |

I’m doing a bound notebook using the printables from Ali Edwards journals last year. It’s so fun. I did a couple pages this week using my stamps and I’m just loving the simplicity. I Can’t wait to show you guys. I still haven’t finished last years project so I think this is going to be perfect for me this year to finish not only this years album but also last years. I also think having to make things flat is just so freeing. I’m really back to basics and the focus on the story and photos.

We are just about to book Disney for the holidays and I'm so excited. Going to bring my folks (who are getting older, and really, really want to take my dad to see Star Wars). Just working through the details. I hadn't gotten excited about DD yet this year but I sure am now!

I've done daily gratitude album in November in the past. While it was fun, I was completely burned out by the time December Daily came around. So no special November scrapping for me. I dedicated Nov to finishing up that years Project Life album, and any other projects I started and didn't finish. |

I have 25 pages done in my October Daily and have prepped or planned the last 6 (going to 31). I'm so excited to start prepping my December Daily. I can't imagine doing anything daily in November or any other type of scrapping. I'm so busy the first two weeks of December that I try to get all of my shopping and DD prep done before Dec. starts. I've seen people do some mini books of things they're thankful for and they have been stunning. But for me, Nov. 1 means Christmas. Bring it. |
