I’ve bought the odd thing in Stamptember in the past but the international shipping is a killer. The last few years I haven’t really looked at all.

Didn't see anything in the preview video that doesn't look like tons of stuff I see everyday on AliExpress. A couple of the dies in fact look kind of poorly thought out - the pumpkin house and squirrel in particular.

I left the option to stay up and watch the reveal....and my eyes promptly closed. I'm watching a replay now, so far not **too** impressed. I do like the CZ witch set, but the die/stamp set is already sold out.

The only thing that interests me is the fab floral pinpoint plate but I can pick that up on AE for $4 so I'll wait.

I'm confused when I look at their website and the blog didn't help clarify (although I didn't watch the video). Didn't they used to have it set up with a day for each month and you can see who the collab is with ahead of time? I didn't find that, just a bunch of product available now. Anyone watch the video or know? I like to check them out, I've purchased a couple of times, mostly I like to see what Lawn Fawn and Tim Holtz do with them.

I looked for a list with dates and couldn't find one.

I seemed to recall there were dates, although it's probably once they get going with them you can count down to what you're watching for. I specifically remember making myself a reminder for the Tim Holtz release one year.

Ditto! I would buy a lot more if they let you bundle to only pay one shipping fee. Same. But can you imagine the logistical nightmare? It would be cool if they did a discounted shipping rate for Stamptember. I can't understand why SSS can't figure this out. Can't they hire a few more people and a building for the month of September and put all the boxes in alphabetical order and then just plunk people's orders in the boxes as they order? Charge people a set fee for this privilege and then pay the extra workers and building rental fee with the increased sales. I dunno-maybe they already know that they wouldn't make enough extra to cover the increased expense. What do I know? But for heaven's sake, at least hire some people or work round the clock yourself to get people's orders out in less than a week. Waiting more than a week for something to ship these days is very passe.

For what it's worth, I ordered a little after midnight when the new products launched (I'm a night owl) and I got a shipping notice late the same day. Maybe it's a fluke or I got lucky, but I was pleasantly surprised.

IIRC some brands might hype that their release is coming in the next day or so. It's possible that the biggest hypefest (Tim Holtz) might reveal their date, I think it's usually mid-late month?? Confirmed: I did a search on the boards for Tim Holtz Stamptember and it looks like it came out at the very end in 2020, Sept 20th in 2021, 24th in 2019, 11th in 2017. Someone mentioned that the TH Addicts Fbk group posted a bunch of reminders about the release so the date must be known at least a few days in advance.

If you're up at midnight the collaboration set today is with Honey Bee. Not really my style, but on the live earlier today this release was announced for midnight so here I am. According to the list Lawn Fawn is next (if they're following the order on the collab page).

Are they serious with those prices? $24.99 for a 6 x 8 stamp set, and $39.99 for the set with matching dies? Ouch! No way I'll be buying anything, but it's nice to look for inspiration to use what I already have.

Last year I filtered products by date on the Stamptember category and, if I remember well, the brands' line up was correct for each day, unless it was a glitch. I ended up not buying anything.

No way I'll be buying anything, but it's nice to look for inspiration to use what I already have. That's just too much for me... unless it's something really useful and versatile or unique. I can generally avoid the matching die bundle but the prices on the SSS release were just so high. And the thing is there is so much. Too many new releases between them and all the other companies advertising their holiday items. I just see so much product for so much money and decide that it's too overwhelming and same-y everywhere and go play with my stash instead.

joblackford this is exactly how I've been able to overcome my FOMO issue: too many products out there (constantly) and since I usually like to get the matching die for the stamps, I take a step back to consider whether is something I'll be able to play with more than once. If am still on the fence about it, I'd browse what I already own or get me some nice cheap 3D dies from KS Crafts on Amazon.

If they’re consistent with the list I’ll post on the nights that I’m definitely waiting for the collab. There are some nights with brands I know a lot of us want.

I question prices on AliEx when it starts getting over 5$; let alone 40$ (plus conversion, plus shipping, plus taxes, plus import/duty...)

The Lawn Fawn set goes live tonight and I think Nichol Spohr jumped the gun. Her YouTube channel has the notice of the upcoming video at midnight and it’s titled Sledding by peek a boo popup. Sounds like it geared more for card makers.

There was a sentiment stamp and die set in the 1st email that came out that I was eyeing.
$60US x1.35 = $81 CAD plus shipping which is usually $15-20 US. That is a hard "Hell No".
They are out of their minds.

(I feel like a little kid with the LF excitement. I didn't like their set last year but the one from the year before is one of my all time faves)

And don't forget you get to pay import fee, duty, and taxes on top of that triple-digit cost for a single set~! Hell no indeed.

Yeah, those have been up for about a week. I didn't look too hard so that may not be the best price, but it's miles better than Simon's. Edit: whoops, wrong link. Bet there's better prices if you do more digging.
Did Canada Post revise the import limit at last? It was 20$Can for the longest time, which is stupidly low. Costs more to process the paperwork than they were getting in revenue, not to mention such a hassle.

The stamp set is much smaller and $10 cheaper than the Honey Bee one but the stamp/die bundle is still $40! How do they justify that?! Yes, the main page shows both items sold out but the item pages still have them in stock. That might actually allow more people to get one. It’s 12:22am east coast time as I’m typing this.

Every year I make one really detailed Christmas card for a select few and I'm so lifting her design.

I'm new to Stamptember; this year was the first I'd even heard of it.
LOVE Lawn Fawn, so I checked out that set. It didn't seem overpriced to me, at least for the stamp set alone. The price was right in line with what I'd typically expect to pay for a Lawn Fawn stamp set.
I don't have a die cutter, so I don't pay much attention to the prices for die sets. I am wondering, for those of you who are saying that the Stamptember sets are overpriced -- is it mostly the sets with dies that seem overpriced?
The Lawn Fawn set is already sold out, which definitely makes the decision on whether to buy or not much easier.
