It's showing 358 in stock for me at 5:22pmEDT. Not sure if people didn't check out or if the initial inventory was incorrect. I saw a couple of examples on IG and couldn't even make out what the image was behind the snow stenciling people had done over embossed and blended images. I actually thought it was another looking-up-at-trees image until I went and looked at the listing. It's not my style - I want something with more flexibility at that price point and I already have a snowfall stencil and some snowflake stamps so that doesn't sweeten the deal for me. I'm glad they have plenty for those who love it though  That is so weird, I put higher quantities on the cart and updated it, then it would jump to the numbers I mentioned before. That's why I figured those were the actual amounts available. Right now, I added 358 to the cart but it only showed 99. Go figure. How ironic, all this fuzz about the reveal and six plus hours later there is still inventory. Gina K sold out within a couple of hours. I honestly got it because of the sentiments and surprisingly, I do not own a snowfall stencil (not that I really need one, we don't get snow where I live) but wanted to get my hands on one. Also, I can look past that font because it doesn't look bad on finished cards. Yes, Gina K sold out super quick but I don't believe SSS had nearly the amount of inventory for her (or any of the other collabs) as this Tim Holtz set. When I looked this morning, there were nearly 3000 Tim Holtz sets available, and as of 7pm ET it looks like there's 230 in stock. That seems like an impressive amount to sell in 7 hours. It's kind of nice because if someone still wants it, there's a good chance they can still get it, but it probably won't make it through the weekend. |

Huh, the Holtz set is... interesting. The combination of font plus punctuation makes me feel like the sayings are almost sarcastic? Nothing about the sentiments actually is, so it's a weird dissonance. AlMoSt LiKe ThIs StYle. Just missing the punch line. Very strange. My brain gets overwhelmed when I read things like that. I hate it with a passion.  I didn't get the same impression but I see your point! |

I passed on Tim’s set this time. I have similar things.
About 5 mins after it went live on SSS, I punched in like 10,000 quantity and it told me there were 5480 left, so my guess would be they started out at 5500. That is an impressive number of sets sold today with a nice profit margin, as his stamps are usually 25ish dollars.
Did nit check other quantities but an email from Colorado Craft said they asked SSS to be able to release 1000.

I just tried typing in 1000 on the TH bundle and it switched to 118 and said that was how many left, so I guess it's still selling steadily. Should be all gone tonight. I wonder if their inventory system is having trouble, though, if you're getting different numbers. It may be that people are putting them in their cart but not checking out and they only "fall out" and go back into inventory after a certain amount of time.
I think they have a better sense of how many TH sales they'll make but maybe they wanted to actually give more people a chance to buy, not just the hardcore fans/those who are free to shop in the middle of a Saturday. TH definitely seems to be the collab that gets the most interest year after year.

Just realized that only PinkFresh is not sold out. The others don't have the "sold out" graphic but do show that they're out of stock on their pages. Looks like the PF floral stamp still has 100+ in stock though.

Now that Stamptember is over, what did you get (if anything)? Were there any that you missed but really wanted? I got the Lawn Fawn stamps/ die set. I also got the Picket Fence Studios Stamp/ die set.
The first few days other than LF I was not impressed so I stopped staying up for releases. There are a few I wish I had: Newtons Nook, My Favorite things, Reverse Confetti and Mama Elephant. I also surprisingly liked the ugly Christmas Ostrich in the LaLa Land crafts collab. Not my style at all but someone did a card with one of the ostriches peeking through a window that made me smile.

I didn't buy anything since I don't really use stamps, but if I had to pick one it'd have been the Clearly Besotted critters with sunflowers. They're sweet, playful and look a lot like things I've made but with die cuts. The prices though, whoof. Way too rich for my blood.

I bought a couple stencils from Simon's release and the Colorado Craft Company Catch a Star stamp. My son's memory book is moon and star themed so I'm always interested in something new with those.
