Very cute and very simple! Thanks for sharing. I should totally make some trick-or-treat favour baggies this year with broom embellishments.

That is super cute. Those fringe/herb scissors would be perfect for that. I agree with you about the atg adhesive, much easier. Super cute idea, TFS.

Saw this broom embellishment idea on Instagram. That is super cute. Those fringe/herb scissors would be perfect for that. I agree with you about the atg adhesive, much easier. Super cute idea, TFS. Been thinking about one of my favourite early childhood books about a tiny witch with a big problem, Little Big Feet by Ingrid and Dieter Schubert. It's solid vintage by now (looks like the English translation goes back to 1990). Have you by chance heard of this one, Skellinton? Maybe something for your class during Halloween month? Lovely art that has stuck me with me through the decades.

Received my Ali Halloween kit today (yay UPS delivering on Sunday). I’ve hesitated buying a 6X8 album to use with it but I think I’ll probably cave.

They artwork looks very familiar to me, but I don't recognize any of the books I could find by them. You can bet tomorrow if I have a spare a second in school I am going to be looking through the books and see what one looks like the same artist. For some reason I'm getting an image of a bear and a cave in my head, but the cover I am.picturing doesn't look like an of the ones I am seeing. I am also getting Tomten vibes from the face in the mirror, but it could just be similar styles to a different artist. The story sounds cute and I like the art a lot.

I wasn’t going to buy anything else because I got the citrus twist Halloween kit and had bought a Traci reed kit and have lots left over from last year.
So this weekend I placed that Ellen Hutson order I told you guys about. Then I also bought Nelly and clems new kit.
And then I bought another mug from target (the witch) and while checking out a second mug popped magically in my cart (the cauldron)
And I got boo at the zoo tickets.
It’s September and I am 100% out of control this year.

Oooh, I'm intrigued about the art style mystery! Let me know which artist this made you think of when you're done sleuthing. It's very 1980s-early 1990s but I still love this style. It's warm, vibrant, detailed and yet a bit messy. Gives me such cosy vibes. There's also a small dragon in this book (and a gorgeous illustration of the witch forest with little witches high up in the trees)... I'd tracked down an old copy to read to the kids I took care of when I was a part-time nanny back in my uni years and the book still had great success. Especially when doing Tiny Big Feet's high-pitched hoarse witch voice.

It would be absolutely wrong to... encourage you! *rubs hands* Now, these mugs you talk of, care to share? If you're going to go all in, you gotta share some pics of your growing Hallow-loot! Come on, consider that some Peas *cough moi cough* live in places where there are no Halloween goodies out in stores except a few bags of sweets sometime in late October... For the people of the world, ecvnj58, you must accept your spooky obsession and go all in! *dramatic arm gestures*

I got both my AE Halloween kit and my Studio Calico Halloween kit this weekend!!! YAY!!
I'm trying to convince myself that I have enough Halloween stuff, but I really want the Ellen Hutson stamps and dies and some goodies that I spotted at The Stamp Market website.

It’s September and I am 100% out of control this year. I am so with you! And this is the mug I got from Target. I'm buying all the black cat stuff this year: My AE Halloween kit came today and it's gorgeous. I will definitely use up every piece of that. ecvnj58 Thanks for the links to the other Target stuff. I had not seen that.
ALSO!!
Thanks for all the suggestions for text for the title page. I have ideas now. I will share when it's done.

I didn't know scrapbook.com started selling kitties! 😁 Such a cutie! What a great haul! Love the puffy stickers you received. I can't wait to see what you create with all of your goodies. I ordered the new Fancy Pants Happy Halloween collection from Peachy Cheap. It should be here in a few days and I cannot wait! Me too, and I'm so excited!!! This plus the Ali Edwards kit plus what I already have in my stash? I'm SO stoked!!! (Although I'm obsessed with the pink Prima Luna line, but that'll have to wait until next time I guess!)

Nelly & Clem's new Halloween kit, Crafty Witch, is super cute (and affordable at £5). "I love the smell of coffee and witchcraft in the morning." But I wanted to point out the cutest black kitty close-up PL card!

Very cute mugs, ecvnj58 blemon! Thank you for sharing and letting me live vicariously through your American Halloween lifestyle (none of that here, alas). Love that monarch butterfly theme, too. The colours are absolute perfection for the season! Pics of the cat hating the costume for the album, of course! I don't think any of my mother's kitties would even allow those wings to come close to them, let alone but put on them. Good luck to you, ecvnj58!

Just an FYI: Target has some cute stickers in their card section. Charlie Brown, Dinosaur skeletons, various animal skeletons, spiders, ghosts, etc.
I got 2 packs of the Charlie Brown stickers.

I decided I'm going to focus on adding to my Halloween tin that I started many years ago. Remember when lunch tins were all the rage?😂 I couldn't find the right shade of tan to match the first dividers, so I went darker. I had made five divider fronts eons ago and made seven more over the weekend. At the time, I only had the Sizzix circle die for making my 'tabs', so I stuck with that. I won't post all. But here's some of the old and new. I need to add dates to some. I have 1999-2022. Now to order a bunch of 3x4 photos.

I have her old Clifford's First Halloween probably from the 60's. I also have two of my mom's Nancy Drew books.

Off to find book images!

Off to find book images! You could even create flip-ups behind the book covers for some basic information ("favourite scary book in 2nd grade", "tracked down an old copy on eBay just to have it again", etc.). I think this would make for a beautiful walk-down-memory-lane spread in an October (Daily) album. You could turn your shelf into a timeline as well with the books ranked per year/era of your life, from childhood all the way to today if you still enjoy a good gothic story.

I have no idea what the lunch box tin trend is either... Were these used for storage or making alternative albums?

Is this your display? I love it. Did you make the candy corn? I want to do that. I love them. It's my display. I already put up my Halloween decorations. I put older looking things on a shelf in an old dresser/hutch combination in my living room. I bought the candy corn years ago. They used to be the same size until my son took a chunk out of one a few years ago.

I have no idea what the lunch box tin trend is either... Were these used for storage or making alternative albums? Here's a plain one, and one I decorated. I just remembered I need to find a vase for my fake flowers with eyeballs that are sitting on the basket. I want to do something with the front of the tin. The paper is kind of upside down.
