Katherine, William, Harry and Meghan are talking to people outside Windsor. I hope things are healing between them all. I was very pleased to see this. I hope it’s the start of some reflection and healing too.

I didn't get emotional (just a run-of-the-mill non-royal follower American here) until today. I happened to see that conversation between the Queen and Paddington Bear. At the end he said, "Happy Jubilee your Majesty. And thank you...for everything."

ETA: adding the text for those that don't see tweets: Thank you Ma'am, for everything.

I have cried twice since the Queen passed. Her children lost their mother but the Empire changed in a heartbeat. I am coming to grips with a king bit it’s hard.

I feel like you could hear some gasps as the group of 4 got out of the car and walked down to the crowds and flowers, Realizing Harry and Megan were there. I just hope this helps bring William and Harry closer.

The Queen's coffin on has begun the 175 mile, six hour journey from Balmoral to Edinburgh. I am watching it on TV. Seeing the hearse with the coffin has made it ver real. As I have spent a lot of time out of the range of media since Friday, it is only now starting to sink in.

gar It's beautiful, Scotland is wonderful except for the midgies. The silence accorded the funeral procession is striking too.

Even though I’m American, I am having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that she is really gone. She has always been there.
The scenery is gorgeous.

I wonder who is driving the hearse in the procession bringing the Queen to Edinburgh...? Did the Queen have a regular chauffeur? It would be fitting if she had a long-time chauffeur who now gets to drive her one last time.

I would have assumed it was one of her members of staff too but I guess not.

Her staff wouldn't be used to driving a hearse . . . just from a practicalities point of view, you need someone who knows how to handle the vehicle.

Scotland has always been on my bucket list of places to visit and now it's moved to the top of the list after seeing all this gorgeous countryside! Our TV presenter has just said that this was a final gift from the Queen to her beloved Scotland. Apparently this wasn’t the most scenic route either! They wanted to pass the most populated areas so most people could get to give their respects.

I'm sitting here on Sunday night watching "Elizabeth at 90: A Family Tribute." It's fabulous! I haven't seen it before. There are so many old videos, it's so lovely to see and hear The Queen watching old videos of herself and her family and reminisce.
Our PM has called a public holiday on Thursday 22nd (which happens to be my birthday, thanks Albo!) for a Public Day of Mourning. We also have a public holiday on Friday 23rd for the AFL Grand Final Eve, so it's a four day weekend for us here in Victoria. A lot of people are saying we should have the public holiday on the Tuesday because people will be up late on Monday night watching the funeral.

I've got to say, hearse technology has come a long long way, that car is GORGEOUS and sleek. Wow. I got goosebumps when I saw the pictures.

It would be fitting if she had a long-time chauffeur who now gets to drive her one last time. The hearse is from Purves funeral directors, an Edinburgh company of several generations. My Dad recognised the private number plate as soon as he saw it. It will be one of their drivers.
