Watching the live, she just said her priority after the live was sorting out all the people who needed access to the class. She did mention an overwhelming number of people to process through. oh good to know, thank you so much for updating!

I had signed up for the stamp class and had to email her. It took two or three days to hear back. I've now signed up for the stencil class and am patiently waiting for access to it. If I don't have access in a few days I will email her.

So sorry for those waiting to get into the Stencil class. I bought the Stamp class a few weeks back and got access almost instantly. Not sure if there was a sudden influx of class attendees but a week is a pretty long time to wait.

At first I was concerned the order was lost or something. A little communication on her part would go a LOOOONG way. Just a "hey guys, I see and hear you..working on it" kinda thing.
What would be so hard about that? oh well.

I need pw reset (I emailed her 'tech support' on the mb to reset pw) and I emailed her gmail address a copy of my paid Paypal receipt and asked for confirmation that she got my payment/sign up. I have not heard back either way.

This is why I have been reluctant to pay for a class from Shimelle.
I have to be mindful of where my money goes (as do a lot of us and other crafters) and if I am going to spend money on a class I expect to have access to it at the start OR within 24 hours of payment if I sign up after the class.
This has been the downfall of so many in the industry.
They take on more than they can chew and WE are the ones affected. WE are the ones who support them with cash flow and positive praise and buying product and into ideas.
But when we are not treated with respect, it burns.
Shimelle has had this issue for awhile and if she doesn't correct it very soon, it will have some negative consequences.
When you run a business, you need to be customer centered.

I have been out of the scrapbooking loop for so long that I had no idea about her reputation. She's so active all over the place, I saw her giving that free class over at SBdot com and then I saw the thread here talking about how fun the class is so I went and signed up. I wish I'd have known. I'll give it another week before I dispute the charges (I've never done that but I assume there is a way through Paypal). Such a shame, she's such a good teacher and so talented. But yeah, if you take my money you owe me the respect of providing the service I paid you for. *ed to add that I just remembered my old pw and was able to sign into the mb without her help and I was hopeful my access was given but still no class.

I am now approaching the second weekend where I would like to have access to the class but there is still no sign of access and no response to my email. I really enjoy Shimelle's on camera personality and I have learned a lot from her, but the lack of customer service is definitely irritating. If she's charging people for this and making money, it's her business and her job. I get that things can be overwhelming and stuff happens, but have a contingency plan in place or get some help.

I can't as it is 3:30 am central, waaayy to early. Did she say anything? I know she had a flood/burst pipe in her house...I don't know. It just seems really odd to have things gone on this long.

I saw the live this morning. She seemed totally fine and perky. Chattered away like there were no cares in the world. If she mentioned anything about class/forum stuff it was very brief - I tend to tap-tap-tap the skip ahead button at the start when she does the hashtag ad spiel, so if she said a few words about it I could’ve missed it. I only skipped a minute, two at the most. ETA: the burst pipe wasn’t that big of a deal? All things considered. It didn’t affect the redone kitchen. They still need flooring, but it’s otherwise complete. And that was months ago.

In Monday’s YT live she acknowledges she has a huge pile of people to sort through for the class, says she’s going to spend the rest of the day on it. Then goes in to say sometimes she gets down on herself for falling g behind, but then reminds herself she’s just one person, blah blah blah, and essentially excuses her lack of follow through. I’m personally very annoyed in your behalf. I’m still harbouring a grudge for her shitastic rollout of the rainbow class (which, btw, she’s stilllllll not wrapped up in entirety). Yeah, she’s one person. Yeah, she contributes a lot to this community. Yeah, she’s generally likable and her enthusiasm can be infectious. But she constantly over-promises, under-delivers, and bites off more than she can chew. And these obstacles are trying and grating. I think she’s got a temporary jolt of steam/content (stamp class, stencil class, SBC Fest) because she’s in high gear for her upcoming Di$ney World trip, and she’ll flame out afterwards. I hope I’m wrong, but….

I just sent another email, myself. I checked my receipt, I paid for the stencil class on September 3rd, when she first posted about it on her private forums.
I just wanna get messy with stencils! But I wanted to send an extra email in case I get lost in hurricane prep this weekend.

Weird. I got access pretty quick. I bought the stamp class Aug 29 and had access soon. Same with the stencil class. Ordered when available and had access. Shimelle never sends me anything. I just go to the class forum, log in and then go to the classes I purchase. I do understand if you have email issues. I’m happy to hear Shimelle has had so many people interested in her classes yet I also feel that many of you have waited longer than appropriate.
