9/28: You guys..I'm IN! OMG. She must have been on her IG because she responded almost immediately! She messaged me right back saying she re-set me and 'that usually fixes things". She also gave me the Using Bold Pattern Paper access too! (nothing in there yet, but I have access to the board.
SO YAY! Finally! Okay and I'm kicking myself that I didn't listen to you guys sooner, about messaging her in IG. So take note all, THAT is the way to reach her. Glad I finally listened to you guys. I was being stubborn and refusing to 'chase her down". Well, it worked. So take note!
Thanks all for following along and the support and suggestions you all gave. Our little community is the best!

So I signed up and paid on Wednesday for both her stencil and stamping class and still no response or access.
I’ve emailed tech support and her directly and nothing. I’m pissed, I was wanting to start working last night and here it is Saturday morning and still nothing.
Is this normal for her?
9/26 update:
well I didn't get an email promising additional classes but I did notice the stamp class is now available to me, however I signed up for the bundle including the stencil class and so far nothing for that.
So now off to email again. <sigh>

She enters each order manually, so yeah, it sometimes takes awhile.
Did you at least get a confirmation of payment?

The last time I tried to contact her, she told me my email went directly to her spam folder for some reason. So yes, keep trying! I am still waiting as well, but I have only sent one message.
She doesn't usually work on the weekends or holidays, so it may not be until Tuesday (she mentioned in her last live that the Queen's funeral on Monday is a holiday in the UK, so she will be watching her son as school will be out).

I guess that if it takes a couple days to enter people manually, signing up on Wednesday, (not sure when you did it, but she is UK time, so depending where you are it might have been later there) then Thursday, and Friday..so then it is the weekend so yeah, Monday (or even Tuesday depending on when you signed up Wednesday) would seem reasonable to me. Also the email response to me for something went in my spam, so maybe check that (that was when I forgot my password) What tech support did you email? I did not know there was a tech support.

Check your junk folder too. My stamp class email went to the junk folder. But that was last month.

Email her at shimelle@gmail.com if you don't have access. And definitely check your spam folder. The "forgot password" emails from her forum are always flagged by spam filters and it sounds like some other emails are too. But she also had a busy week with finalizing her Christmas kit/stamp preorders and SBCFest on Friday on top of the usual stuff, and she is a one woman, very small business. She has explained that automating the signup process would force her to charge far more for her classes, something to do with how her business is classified, so it's a trade-off.

But that's the thing, that's not reasonable for any online class I've ever taken, hers (from years back) included. I had no idea that things were different for her now. I've been checking my SPAM and refreshing my emails since I'd signed up, sure something was wrong. If there is a notice that it could take up to a week or longer before you can even start taking the class a lot of frustration could have been avoided. I would have signed up for BPC courses to take this weekend instead of waiting expectantly. Her website still says it takes 24 hours to get access. I do appreciate all the answers guys. I haven't scrapped since before COVID and the last class I took from Shimelle was Pretty Paper party probably about what, 10 years ago now so I had no idea this was her new normal.

adding that tech support is on her message boards, there is an option to reset your password and I used that link to email request access and to reset my pw.

Are you able to sign in to your account (shimelle.com/forum)to see if your class has been added? I don’t know where her emails go but I don’t see them. I check the forum and find my class access there.

Sounds like she needs to get her sh!t together. If you're running a business, then run your business. She isn't the only business owner with a child, and her son isn't a baby either. But as long as her customers put up with poor service and keep going back for more, things will continue as they are. I hope you get access to your class soon. I'm sure it's really frustrating and annoying.

I emailed her that I hadn’t gotten the link, and she said it was already in my account. that's the frustrating part, I can't remember my password from 10 years ago so the first thing I did was request a reset. So it is possible I've been given access but I doubt it since I've never received a response to my payment. I did forward a copy of my Paypal receipt to Shimelle's gmail proving I paid thinking something may have went wrong. So still nothing. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I'm sure it's really frustrating and annoying. Thank you, I agree. I love Shimelle's content but damn, this is ridiculous. How long does it take if you take a couple of hours out of your day? If you are self employed I didn't think weekends off were really a thing. I'd get up super early and get through my emails, just an hour or two a day would go a long way in avoiding backlog.

I have the same problem. I signed up on the 13th and as of today I still don't have access. I was really hoping to be able to go through it this past weekend. Hopefully we all get access soon. I've not experienced this kind of wait before.

It seems a bit much to have to try to track down something that you've already paid for on multiple social media platforms, via email, etc. I love Shimelle's content and have been a frequent purchaser, but it is poor customer service.

Good news is I busted out tons of layouts instead of working on a class so that's a good thing. If I get access eventually I'll get it. Thanks all for the suggestions and going forward I'll know what to expect if I do try for another class with her. I'll btt this thread when I do get access, hopefully tomorrow.

There are several people on the "sign up to use your Stencils next!" post in the Use Your Stamps forum that have signed up for the stencil class and don't have access. I doubt it's a case of an overwhelming number of people signing up, but something going on preventing her from getting people's registrations finished. She hasn't posted much of anything on IG in the past week. I know she was involved in scrapbook.com's big weekend event, but I couldn't follow along live so I don't know if she was involved live or just her pre-recorded video.

I decided a long time ago not to sign up for any more of her classes, but figured it would be different this time because she has apparently pre-recorded the classes. I checked on the forum this morning and even the people with access are only seeing one video.

I really enjoy her classes and her teaching style, but her ability to manage her business has been getting progressively worse and I'm sorry to hear so many of you are experiencing ridiculously long delays which are increasingly becoming the standard for her business.

Watching the live, she just said her priority after the live was sorting out all the people who needed access to the class. She did mention an overwhelming number of people to process through.
