They might release them at a later time but they are not available yet. If you would like I can stamp/cut some out for you to play with. I will keep an eye out. I totally understand class exclusives. I hope this works, I’m going to post a link (once in IG you need to scroll) to a few of my favorite cards from the weekend. Overall, I really enjoyed this event. It’s laid back, without all the hoopla and angst of the other card making workshop I’ve participated it. Plus, I actually like the products, and will reuse them many time. I was able to keep up, and the amount of homework was not overwhelming. I thought the Dimension is Life class was dull, and we learned nothing new. I love the *magical* mushrooms set/class so much (though I hate that pink/blue condo and instead used yellow and green). I need to come up with more cute sayings for it for sure. I think the Nothing But the Best set is gorgeous, and I cannot wait to watch the watercolor video (it started at 7am my time, so I skipped it) and play with paints. I’d say that the first class, Farm Fresh Flowers is the least close to my “style,” but now that I’ve done the class projects, I’m looking to zsush things up and use more color, and I’ll likely like it better. I’m just not a big fan of washed out, and/or pastels. Oh and pinklady , I already bought a different washi tape set after playing with the one in our kits. I will be signing up for their workshops again. Do they do a fall card making (not holiday) workshop? Thanks azcrafty about the tip regarding ink blending on the pre-made sentiments. I'm not loving them so much, the ink blending might be just what I need. I was really happy with the entire event. I did skip the watercoloring class - I just wasn't feeling it, and we weren't going to complete entire cards anyway. I'll go back to it, or maybe just watch it while I use the stencils to colour in the images instead. I enjoyed Jeff's pre-class chat with all of the instructors, that would be fun for Crop and Create to do at the start of each day, with just that day's teachers. |

marg, I actually made a note, cuz I liked the color combo as well. All PF inks unless noted otherwise. Top: Persimmon (Pink Fresh) Stem and underside of mushroom: Antique Linen (THoltz), Warm Buff, Dark Sage (GinaK) Greens: Marshland (Altenew), Seaforest (Altenew), Fresh Leaf (Altenew), Asparagus (GinaK) Ryann, I like the PF cubes a lot, I finished off the complete set with our event discount (only needed 3 more sets). I also like Altenew as well - I think their colors are a bit more muted/sophisticated than most company's inks. I find both brands' cubes to be on the drier side though...for ink blending at least. So, with our event discount I also purchased a full set of the PF re-inkers. I'm looking forward to being able to make them a bit juicier!

Persimmon is one of my favourite PF colours. You have a good eye, I really lack in this area. I find the PF full-sized pads really dry too. I ordered most of the reinkers using my C&C discounts - I could buy them from a Canadian retailer since the PF shipping to Canada is really expensive. Just an FYI for my fellow Canadians. |

I loved this pinkfresh event. I just have my water color class and 2 more make and takes to do. I love all their tips and tricks. Especially using a bubble mailer to cut intricate dies. I really enjoyed each class and I love all the products. Well worth it.

But will that stop me from ordering? Probably not. Looking at the pricing of the various parts of the new sets makes me realize just how much $$$ in product that we received in the last PF event. |

I got an email that they reopened registration for the May scrapbooking event, so I decided to go for it. I broke my wrist in February and it is mostly healed, so I am ready to get back to crafting.

I am for sure getting the new inks, I just love the colours. My favourites are Chasing Sunsets and Amalfi Coasts. I need to reshuffle my ink storage rack around, now. I'm running out of space! I'm doing the May scrapbooking event, too. I'm starting to get evented-out, though - between Crop and Create card making and scrapbooking twice a year, and the same for PinkFresh, I think I'm going to have to drop something. Did everyone see that the FB group for the November 2021 cardmaking classes will be deleted at the end of April? Go make those cards now if you haven't already!! And for everyone who has done the other events - it looks like they will actually be deleting them after 12-18 months, so finish those projects while you can. |

They ended up leaving the first event up for 18 months. People on the FB group are not happy that they've only been given 2 weeks notice. The owner said that they all knew it wouldn't stay up forever and that it's a pain for their administrators to have the FB group open even if it's made inactive, so they're deleting it. We do have a pdf of all of the projects so there's that, but it is kind of annoying to lose the videos. I've made all of the projects but I'd like the option of watching the video again in the future if I want to make them again - I just enjoy videos. So, people in the group have asked PF to make the videos available on YouTube in a private playlist but the owner said that sounds too difficult. I really dislike FB, I wish I could download videos from it. PF's events are actually on FB and not a link to YT like Crop and Create is. We will see how this plays out, it was only announced yesterday. |

I wonder if there are ulterior motives to closing down the group. Keeping one active doesn't seem like a lot of work to me, personally. So, I think I'm calling BS as well.
That said, I think 18 months is plenty of time to access the videos. But 2 weeks notice is not fair to the participants, especially since apparently many of them thought they'd be up for eternity-ish. Hopefully they'll find a solution that works for all.

Pinkfresh owner posted an update after her initial announcement for the group closing. Below is what she posted. The group is not being deleted for now. I am glad that she took customer feedback seriously.

I have read every comment since I posted about deleting this group. I don't want to make it harder for you and have decided that this group will remain open for a long time (atleast for another 2 years). But following changes will happen.
This group will be paused on April 30th.
All admins but me will leave this group on April 30th.
I will change this group name to PF EVENT 1.
Please know that my intention was not to make it harder for you. Customer satisfaction is very important to us and we will do whatever we can to make our customers happy. We got some suggestions / some criticism since my post. I have always chosen to stay transparent when it comes to communicating with our customers so I wanted to clarify few things.
-Why we initially chose not to pause the group but delete it instead? Once we pause the group then it is still visible to our admins. The way we are going, we intend to do 3-5 events a year and that means we have to work in multiple groups. Imagine searching create and connect and seeing multiple groups and notifications with similar names. This increases the chances of us making errors and posting wrong info in the wrong group. But I figured out a solution for this and now we will be renaming older event groups and all our admins will leave except me.
-I did not choose to do unlisted youtube videos because the links we will share can still be shared with others and there is a high risk of videos not staying completely exclusive. We can only give friendly reminders to our attendees and remind them not to share unlisted links but in reality it is very hard to control that in a group of this size. So this is not the best option for us because for all of our events, we intend to keep event videos/content exclusive to our paid registrants.
-I also rcvd some suggestions via private messages to move our events to another platform and host our events on private platforms. if we do this then it means that our costs go higher and we do not want to increase kit pricing. So for now we will host our events on FB only.
-Transfer admin rights to some volunteers - Some of our wonderful customers came forward as volunteers and messaged me about it. I am so grateful for our amazing customers but we can not go down this route because we started this group for an event and it is filled with Pinkfresh studio focussed content. This group is our responsibility. But I truly thank these possible volunteers for your kind gesture.
-Why don't we do our event on YouTube? For the same reason that I mentioned above. Youtube links can be unlisted but it is still easy to share those links with others and we want to make sure that our event videos are available to paid event registrants only and no one else can get access to it. It's unfair to our registrants if someone shares those videos via links.
Hope this clarifies our stand on this matter and as always I truly appreciate your support and love for our products.

Thanks twillerbee for the update. I only go on FB every few days so I didn't see it. Changing the name of the group seems like an easy and reasonable solution. I actually find it easier with the new name, too. Changing the subject, did you all see the sneak peek of the new mini ink cube carrying case coming this July? It's really pretty. I have full-sized pads so I won't use it, but I like that they're making their storage and tools so aesthetically pleasing. I love the look of the brass tools they have, too. |

I'm really glad they made this decision. I've only attended 1 PFS event but the notice that they were closing the group actually made me question if I wanted to attend any others. I just think deleting the classes is a bad precedent...I mean that is part of what we purchased. I also understand their point about the YouTube links but honestly, that's the way they should go. Being strictly on FB was actually one of negatives of the event for me.
