The purple glitter alpha is going to be a love it or hate it item for sure. I can't believe she brought back Fitzgerald! I love-love-loved those glitter alpha Thickers. I'm so happy they're back. I'll gladly take them in purple (although it's way less versatile than the original gold). Otherwise, I'm with Chinagirl828 . This collection as a whole is too saturated to be very usable for me. However, I will pick up some pieces. The ephemera pack is a must, the cloud PP (tagging Skellinton for when she's around again because she loves a good cloud PP), the purple & lilac papers, the Love This PP and that super fun retro graphic floral PP called Prop Table (I will agonise over cutting into this one, I just know it). I'm very excited about her return as an AC brand. I hope it's a multi-collection deal and they will give her a chance to explore several colour schemes and themes. |

I found the collection after a quick Google search, and I have to admit, I love it even more now that I've seen the whole collection. This might be my favorite Shimelle collection ever. Yes, it's bright, but it's fun, usable, I don't see any weird motifs that will be difficult to incorporate into my layouts, the sentiments are great everyday sentiments, the colors are fun, and I think it's gender neutral. All the things I've been asking for from scrapbook manufacturers! In my opinion, Shimelle knocked it out of the park with this collection.
I will order the entire collection when it's released. I hope Shimelle is successful with Main Street Energy and there are more collections to come!

I’m not a purple fan and butterflies are yucky to me. Other than those things I LOVE LOVE the collection! That camera vellum!!! 😍 That camera icon rainbow paper! I love all the navy.

I wanted to love it but there are only a few papers I like and would add to an order but it's mostly a pass for me. For some reason, and I cannot believe I am saying this, I HATE the loopy leaves on the flowers. I even feel ridiculous putting it out there.  But I am glad to see her designing again and hope it's successful enough for AC to continue working with her. |

Love it! The navy is very appealing, mixed with the bright overall feel. Most if not all the papers have a usable side for me. I wouldn’t use a butterfly paper for how I scrapbook, but then there’s a fantastic pastel/navy plaid on the B side, which I absolutely love.

The Use What You Buy Stickers class was my first (or first in a really long time) paid class with Shimelle. I really enjoyed it and came away with so many sketch ideas and ways to use stash of stickers.
I like the price points and the no fuss content...watch a short video and also her layout is in the thread if you want to look at it more. I like how she shows her decision making process and how she sometimes changes her mind on the direction. It's relatable. I'm ok with waiting for a password reset.
I loathe anything that takes more than 20-30 minute, unless I am in crop-mode. Usually I speed up videos to 2x and skip ahead to the actual work on the layout, I am not interested in anyone's banter! lol. But I actually like her banter and unrelated content, I like following her DisneyBounding and dance/theater content too.
Like someone else said, I don't feel like everything is just an attempt to sell something. One of the last few industry ppl I actually pay attention to.
The new collection is wow, bright! But I always find things I like about her stuff.

Love the enamel dots, especially the fin shapes. And I can see getting a lot of use out of a few stamps. Did anyone take her Disney themed class? I have an old trip still to finish and a new one planned for the whole family next year. |

This new collection just makes me happy. I love the colors (Even all of the purple! My last 2 layouts have been nothing but purple, and normally I avoid that color like the plague). I love the goofy birds. I love the cloud paper. I love it all, honestly.

With the loss of Amy Tangerine and Dear Lizzy to the AC scene, I have really been missing out some colourful b-sides, so some of these will make their way into my stash. While it's not my very favourite Shimelle collection, I'm happy that she is designing again. I will definitely be picking up that camera vellum and those purple thickers--Fitzgerald are my fave!

She clarified that this class is actually regular shape punches, not border punches. I think there’s a border punch class on the list for sometime later. This will not deter me from treating myself to a scallop border punch! 😆 |

American Crafts just officially announced Shimelle's new collection on their Instagram account. Still planning to buy lots of this one.
They also have a new tool for helping to remove the backing off of foam tape. I would be curious to give that a try. It is called the Sticky Thumb Liner Lifter.
