Hope the Glue Crew are all having a delightful day. It's cool here in Central Pennsylvania and seems to be a more vivid fall compared to the last few years. We had a dry summer and a wet early fall, if that makes a difference. We went on a Rail Trail bike ride on Friday.
I've been participating in CARDtober. Appreciation for all the hosts. Even if you are not usually a cardmaker, give a try. It's a very supportive group.
My fellow Glue Crew will be able to commiserate, whereas my family will not. I can't find my Creative Memories blue scissors! I've looked "everywhere". They must be somewhere, but so far no luck. I miss them - I've had them for around 30 years now.

Hey Glue Crew! linda I hope you recover quickly! I’m flying home from my last of 6 weddings this year. 4th since Labor Day. Of course I plan to keep scrapping them all. It’s been a fun but exhausting two months. My poor dog, Arthur, will have probably forgotten about us by now but he is being spoiled by my parents. Wishing everyone a good week ahead!

Unpacked everything last night both suitcase and crop totes. Organizing and putting away all the fun new stuff. Got carried away with Paper Wizard titles, and Craft Fancy prices for Scrapbook Adhesive refills we too great to pass up. I won't need adhesive for at least a year or more, or foam tape!
Still dealing with the aftermath of the incident at school, the VP is telling a much different story to the SpEd Asst. Director.

oh no! jjpeapea did you find your scissors? We went from daily highs of upper 80s to the 60's and the leaves started turning and falling immediately. I would like to get some photos of the changing leaves before they all fall off lol. scrappyrabbit I hope you are reunited with Arthur! I'll bet he was excited to see you. Wow 4 weddings in 6 weeks is a lot, I would be totally exhausted. Can't wait to see your pages! Linda I hope you're feeling better soon and back to normal. Whatever that is. Sometimes I think there is no true normal, for anything lol. Still fighting with figuring out the badge. I got it in my siggy but it's showing @aussiemegs flikr info. Glad we have quarterly and not monthly teams now. I should be having a fairly quiet weekend and hopefully will get a little scrapping done. I started a lap blanket, so I may end up knitting and watching the NFL all weekend lol. Anyone have scrappy plans for the weekend, or fun plans?

angel97701 - looking forward to seeing what you make with those new goodies joyfulnana - we seem to be on the mend and DD16 seemed to have escaped it. Bought train tickets - I'll be heading to Virginia later this month for almost 2 weeks with my older kids. I think weekend plans will be to catch up on housework but hoping to sneak some scrappy time in

We aren’t picking up Arthur until Sunday, because my parents live 4.5 hours away and had a very busy week this week. We’re going to meet halfway to pick him up. The house feels so empty with out him, but Saturday we want to go to a museum/botanical garden (something we wouldn’t normally do because of the dog!) and then carve pumpkins at my cousins house. Hope to fit in some scrappiness here and there. Last night I binge watched tv instead of scrapping, but sometimes that’s all you need.

joyfulnana , thanks for asking about my scissors - it was driving me nuts! They were in the scissor/junk drawer. I looked there once but I must not have dug around enough. I think a family member used them and then put them "where they belong". I put a Glue Crew Badge in my signature line - here is a link if anyone wants to use it: i.imgur.com/DXfX7fc.jpg BUT put left square bracket img right square bracket in front of it and left square bracket /img right square bracket behind. angel97701 can't wait to see your new items in your projects. Best wishes dealing with school issues. scrappyrabbit welcome home! Now you need a vacation from your vacation time. We'll go on a bike ride Friday. We'll probably have to bundle up. Then watch the Michigan/Penn State game Saturday. I'm working on a birthday card for a second grader that has paper doll horses included.

International peas, are there holidays this quarter you will be celebrating and documenting that are particular to your country? Sometimes I feel like the US has taken over all the holidays all over the world lol. No "holidays" coming up here except for Christmas. We obviously don't have Thanksgiving, and Halloween isn't much of a thing here either. When I was a kid it was non existent, same as when my daughter (born in 1997) was a kid. By the time my son (born in 2004) was a toddler, a few people started doing Halloween, and he would get dressed up every year. I do buy lollies every year in case any kids come TOTing, but I can't remember the last time anyone knocked on my door. Side note: we don't use the term "holidays" or "holiday season" to describe Christmas etc. As in the UK, we use the word "holiday" exclusively as you would use the word "vacation". Example: Are you going away for the school holidays? Yes, we're heading down to our holiday house at the beach. We are excellent at turning them into shopping days though Yes, and I must thank y'all for that! Even though we don't do Thanksgiving, we now get Black Friday sales. I think it started when Amazon first launched in Australia, about five years ago. People got so excited about the Black Friday sales, and then all of the bricks-and-mortar shops decided to get in on the action. Prior to that, our big sales were on Boxing Day, the day after Christmas, which is no bloody good for Christmas shopping!

Ack Crazy week, I meet with VP on Wednesday and learned that DS was being taken advantage of and had become the "mule" like an 8 year old delivers drugs. Except he also uses . . . how he gets it without $$ no clue. We have an emergency IEP meeting either next Monday of Tuesday. I have permission from the school I am working at to leave early for family issues. The VP at the other school is familiar with my home situation. We cannot let him go back to school because it is not a safe place for him and his addiction issues.
As far as my own health, I saw a new Naturopath primary carer last Wednesday. She ordered a whole slew of blood work that I went in and did on Monday morning after I got back from my supposed retreat weekend. Managed to get a follow up yesterday morning, and my general assumption was correct. I have hypothyroidism, just on the border line so we are trying a protocol of supplements, herbs and essential oils. It explains a lot of how I've felt physically over about the last 2 years, and especially the last 2 months. It helps mentally to know that I am not crazy and that it is not just all stress. I have a follow up in 3 weeks.
It looks like my husband may travel on my birthday . . . the wife of his best friend since first grade passed from cancer last week. Her memorial service will be on 11/16, my birthday is 11/15. I feel he should go!
Been up in the middle of the night the last two nights . . . on Wed I finished my pages for climbing Koko Head that I had started the night before. Last night I started a single page using a Boxer kit repurposed to fit a sketchtember sketch. I had a single photo for my crafting album. Yes, I scrap photos of events that I have attended, especially conventions and retreats with my mom and sis.
Sadly my 8 month old Epsom PM-400 has a hardware issue and I can not print photos right now! I only have one more set of Hawaii photos printed to scrap so I am looking for photos and pages that need to be done. It will be replaced under warrenty, but with a refurbished one since I've had it more than 30 days! Ugh! Then last night I went to use the new Epsom Eco tank we bought for business use and the top feeder to make copies of multiple pages doesn't work. Have to figure out if I return it to Office Depot or go through the hassle of dealing with Epsom customer service. Another hour to waste!
If you are a praying friend, prayers are appreciated at this point!

Good Morning team! How's everyone doing? angel97701 I'm sorry you have so much going on with DS and with your photo printer! I hope the new printer stays good. I had a lazy weekend I guess you could say. I went to the LSS about 30 minutes from me in the hopes of picking up a few sheets of the latest VB line, but she didn't have it out yet. But she DID still have some of Simple Stories Bro & Co which I had been wishing I could find more of so win-win Still struggling with the mojo. It will be back eventually. But I have to say, you ladies are very inspiring! I've been working on a snuggly blanket for now. So I'm still earning points lol.

I'm working on the fourth (and final) video from Shimelle's Stencil class...now I understand how layouts can take so very long....apply texture paste....wait for it to dry....apply ink....wait for it to dry....only then will I be able to actually scrap the layout. I'm not a huge mixed media fan but I've learnt some techniques and gained some ideas from both the stamping and stencilling classes.

I haven't done much yet with the stenciling class, but had to chuckle because it takes me forever to finish a layout even if there is nothing that needs to dry lol. Do you think you'll use the techniques you learned again? I can't wait to see what you've done with this class! And I'm so excited for you going to visit the kids! angel97701 how are you doing? Are things calming down? I'm thinking of pulling all the photos of Abby that I want to scrap and batch scrap them and use the cute cat stencil and stamps I have. And make a dent in all the pet papers too lol. DGS is back into Pokemon Go and is coming over later tonight so we can do a special trade lol. Saturday he and I will probably be out playing together lol. It's fun and he has a great time. I guess it's also time to decide if I'm buying Christmas cards or making them this year. I'm leaning toward making them, which means I need to get started lol. I hope everyone is having a great week!

I haven't done much yet with the stenciling class, but had to chuckle because it takes me forever to finish a layout even if there is nothing that needs to dry lol. Do you think you'll use the techniques you learned again? I can't wait to see what you've done with this class! I will use the techniques in the future but perhaps in smaller doses - I tend towards a much simpler style. I've already re-used some of the techniques I learnt in the stamping class. I think, for me, it's good to learn HOW to do the stuff and then I can take the bits I enjoyed or liked the results and give them my own spin going forward. I've certainly been using my stamps much more post-stamping class which I think is the goal. I had to buy (and make) stencils for that class as I didn't have any and the ones I got at the $tree weren't ideal as the shapes were a variety of sizes and I think different ones would work better for me. I have a couple coming in the post that I think will be more versatile - I hope. I tend to pull together quick layouts - about 30 minutes or so usually - so waiting for texture paste and then ink to dry before putting it all together was a rather new experience for me. I'm really excited about visiting the kids. DS is actually on a short detachment about 2hrs from here this week so we're driving up for dinner with him tonight. He gets sent there once or twice a year and we always take advantage to seeing him. We didn't think we would be able to this week as DH had ey surgery scheduled for today but he found out yesterday that he has to be 30 days out from his positive Covid test so it was rescheduled for just before I get back. Good plan on the batch scrapping of kitty pictures! I'm working on my FOURTH photo order of the week. (Amazon limits to 200 photos/order). The first one arrives tomorrow - the rest will come while I'm gone and will be waiting for me when I return -just in time for me to download and order photos from my visit, lol. DS recently sent me two flashdrives of photos - from a couple of his recent trips, Legoland Malaysia from 2018 which he thought I had but we recently realise I didn't, DD's photos from her good camera, and the rest of DH's pictures from his camera (his memory card was full so he had to download it to DS's computer so he could take more pictures). Took me hours to organise those all and order what I plan to scrap from them. Just have the Legoland ones left to order now.

joyfulnana , I took Alex over to the home where we are cat sitting. They have a new young kitty that Alex just loved. As he was playing with it, I thought of your Rudy with Abby. He could have stayed all day playing with the kitty and toys. I will probably take him back at least once before the family returns. Now I have kitty photos to scrap!! Linda , I am so happy for you to be getting away and enjoying your young adult children. I'm sure you will have a great visit. I can't believe you have over 200 photos coming. Wow, what fun you will have when you add in the trip photos. I still have to order the Aquarium photos of Eddie that I plan to use with the Fish are Friends paper. Thanks for your inspiration. angel97701 , I am sorry you are struggling with DS. I hope things smooth out for you. It's your turn to have a rest and relief! Did you enjoy your scrapping holiday? Prayers for answers that will help with his addiction. I am finally getting some time to spend in my scraproom. I have felt "glued" to DH as he has been healing from all the surgeries the past 2 months. It's nice to see him coming out and beginning to enjoy life again. We hope this is the end of the surgeries. Today was his first day back at work and he did well. He's the kind of person who goes nuts when he doesn't have something to do. I am trying to catch up with some of the card challenges. I know I can't do them all, but I will do what I can. Thanks, joyfulnana , for hosting us these 3 months!

Subbing every day this week for very nice students, doing their own work. IF I work 600 hours in a fiscal year the Education Service District contributes to my retirement since I am already vested. I am only 5.5 days away but have limited availability in November plus the Thanksgiving Break our district has for the entire week. DH still needs to make travel plans, and my Mom will come visit for my birthday on 11/15 most likely the day that DH will fly to Missouri for the service. It is also best that I do not work when he travels because of the dogs and needing to be available if we get a call from the school.
I am still exhausted and having difficulty sleeping even with medication. Waiting for the supplements, herbs, and essential oils to do their thing. I just talked to someone today who said she was able to heal her thyroid issues with a similar protocol. That gave me some hope.
This afternoon I have acupuncture, so that should also help. Next week massage.
Thank you for asking ladies! It's been a tough go, and no real end in sight until we see some real change in DS!

We hit a busy streak ... yesterday we did errands and then went to the Penn State Homecoming parade, then today we went on the Western Maryland Rail Trail. That trail is a beauty - some bumpy tree roots now and then but paved, flat and fall beautiful. I'll leave a photo at the end of this post. Tomorrow my daughter and I will help with children's activities at a fall festival. The weather should be pretty good for that as well. angel97701 Hope things are settling down for you there. I do say a quick prayer for you every time I check on the Glue Crew. I'm sure you will get your 5.5 hours in. So lucky to have nice kids! I subbed for seven months Aug 2019 - March 2020. Some days were so nice, with nice kids and even so relaxing if the student teacher was delivering the lessons and I helped. But some days were bad - defiant kids, traipsing all over a large unfamiliar building, having to beg a random teacher to unlock the staff bathroom and they literally rolled their eyes ... geesh. joyfulnana a snuggly blanket sounds perfect about now. We'd love to see the finished blanket. You are lucky to have an LSS. I'm not even sure where the closest one is. It is hours and hours for sure. My daughter put Pokemon Go on her iPad with no SIM card, so we can only get them on WIFI and then she mis-uses her PokeBalls so it is a slow process. Like we'll go to Walmart or something and get on the WIFI and find some there. We need a Pokemon Go mentor - I need to hire a 13 year old boy or something! Linda wow that is a LOT of photos. I send about 30ish to Persnickety Prints each month. You are so lucky to have your kids share their special photos with you. I've been enjoying your cards. nylene so glad to see you participating in the card challenges. I enjoy your work. I have to put some thought into the magical creature with unexpected accessories. I have some fairy stamps so maybe a fairy that celebrates Christmas or something?? Then I had fun looking through the list of non traditional holidays - so many choices! I'll have to decide on that one too. Photo from the bike ride today:

jjpeapea - wow- that's gorgeous! Sounds like a fun albeit busy weekend! Yes - it was a ton of photos - 198 in the order that arrived yesterday - I did manage to scrap one of them. Then - 197, 109, and 162 in the other three that'll be here next week. It includes several trips though - DH's road trip to Texas in May, DH and DD's visit to VA in July, DS and DD's DC visit, DS's Legoland Malaysia trip from 2018 and San Diego and Guam, both from earlier this year and Boston from last year. There are some day to day pictures included but mostly trips...I am looking forward to scrapping the snow pictures from the big kids last Jan

Thank you for the thoughts and prayers! Still dealing with the thyroid issue fatigue and having a non-stop week didn't help! Stress with DS didn't help either. On Friday I subbed for a Chem teacher who usually has a student teacher BUT she had surgery on Wednesday for appendicitis! So I was on all day. This teacher knows me well and left very detailed lesson plans. So I was in full on teacher mode all day, only the AP kids took a test and were allowed to ask me questions. Then during the prep I checked in on how DS's new safety plan was going. I couldn't find him at lunch, he had gone outside b/c the VP that usually tracks him was out yesterday. AURGH. His case manager is in the last class with him and asked him for me during class, so I didn't make a scene. Then I waited for him in the Resource Room where his backpack is to stay. No backpack to carry around, less opportunity to be the drug mule.
We had a guest for dinner last night so I got home, laid in the easy chair until it was time to start dinner!
Finally got my new printer set up this morning, it came yesterday and I simply didn't have the energy to even deal with it last night. Now I can go on a printing spree! I need to reprint some of my journaling to add different details. I also have 2 more double layouts to finish for my 17-year-old engagement album. One more for DS#1 Senior Year wrestling album. Hope to catch a few more sketches too! Decided I am going to get my Scrapping with Friends album up to date as well. I actually have printed photos from 1998 up to 2004 that I need to find. They are all organized it's just a matter of opening up the storage boxes! LOL. Also need to get a DT project done for Imagine.
We got some furniture moved around in the house. Both of my open bedrooms now have actual bed frames assembled. One room had a couch style futon folded out with a mattress on it, the other had the boxspring on the on the floor with a futon on it. I had bed frames in storage in one of the shops and I wanted the rooms to be more like guest rooms, and also be ready for possible photos if we decide to put it on the market soon. Plus my Mom will be visiting possibly at the same time DD is here. Yeah!

jjpeapea , that photo is gorgeous. A friend came and took my husband walking one day last week and they found a beautiful walking path. I hope DH can direct us to it so we can walk it together. His photos look so much like yours, beautiful fall colors and water. Have a safe trip, Linda . angel97701 , I hope the next couple of weeks are better than the last few. Hang in there! Prayers in your behalf are being offered. joyfulnana , our cat sitting is coming to an end tonight and Alex is so sad. I think he needs a kitty.

Hi all, just popping in to share that I have most of a LO done lol. I should finish it in October!!
I have invited a few friends over for paper crafting next Saturday (first time since March ‘20) and I want to make little treat packages and a Make and Take for everyone so that should get me in a creative mode.
Right now it’s a beautiful 20°C so I’m relaxing on my deck as this will likely be the last of the warm sun til spring.
I’m also doing a special foster cat assignment. We usually take in small kittens and pregnant moms but today I picked up a 20 week old kitten in desperate need of love and socialization. The poor thing is absolutely petrified. I’m giving him space to acclimatize right now and will slowly hope to gain his trust.
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Linda I hope you are off on your trip to visit your older DS and DD. Have a blast! Glad you are recovered from Covid. It's no fun, my Dr. was pleased my white blood cell count was in normal range after having Covid in July.
jjpeapea So glad you found your favorite scissors! The time wasted looking for things, but the joy of actually finding them counteracts the frustration. When I was on my crop I went through my bags three times looking for my last page kit. It was at home still on my to do shelf. Ack!
scrappyrabbit I've been enjoying your pages posted to the Sketchtember threads. Being home after multiple trips, I can totally relate. It's a never ending cycle of laundry, packing, traveling, repeat!
joyfulnana how did your knitting project go? Has your mojo shown up yet? It is always fun to scrap our pets, well just because they bring joy to our lives.
nylene Yeah for DH going back to work! More time for crafting!
@neisy have fun hosting your crop you will have to let us know how it goes!
As for me . . . another phone call from the VP. This time they have DS#2 on tape stealing from another students bag the second day he was back on his safety plan. This time we will let the hammer drop, it will involve the juvenile court system due to the amount he stole, even though he claims it was only $4 dollars. A very stressful 48 hours and my cortisol levels have escalated. I did have an excellent massage yesterday. Sleep issues still a problem, as is some hypothyroidism symptoms. I see my Dr. next Wednesday, I may request to go directly on a Rx, instead of waiting for a slow recovery using supplements, herbs, and essential oils.
My mojo for scrapping is going well, but not even trying to do Cardtober, I think we should do them at least a month apart . . . two months in a row of daily challenges is more than what my brain can wrap itself around.
I did get my DT project done on Monday, and written up and submitted. Super easy, sign for the front utterance. It will go live later in November. Have pages to do for the Hawaii album, and working on putting wedding cards in an album. Decided to use an ancient post bound album that the pages are 12" x 11.5". Using ancient Hot of the Press patterned papers behind the cards, so that counts as scrapbooking right? All be counted as Easy Peasy. Actually have one 4" x 6" photo and a comic strip about dogs and their owners getting married to make the opening layout.

Good Morning Crew! I hope everyone is having a good week. How in the heck is it Friday already, and why do I sound like I'm complaining about that? LOL! jjpeapea that photo is beautiful! I love getting into nature and taking photos. It's one of my favorite things to do. I spent last weekend enjoying our beautiful weather while it lasts and getting photos of the foliage. Now I need to print and scrap them. angel97701 I'm sorry you are having so many challenges with DS lately. I have hypothyroidism, and understand wanting to go the holistic route with that. Maybe go to the meds and continue to support your thyroid with the supplements and oils? Linda I hope you're enjoying your trip and time with DD and that you are getting some relaxation! Neisey I hope your crop went well! Awww that poor kitten, I would love to foster adult/senior cats that need a home, but my senior adoptee is not going to have that at all lol. She does not like other cats lol. nylene I agree that Alex needs a kitty! I wish he and Rudy could meet. They seem similar in their quirks and interests. I've just been looking at the sharing thread, and WOW! It's blowing me away, so many awesome projects! Now to come back after work and leave some love. I've been in Fall cleaning/decluttering mode this week. Doing some much needed deep cleaning and getting things ready to be closed up for the winter lol. My weekend holds some shopping in the morning, and then at some point during the weekend kitbop is hosting an online crop if anyone is interested. I'm not sure if it's Saturday or Sunday yet. She will likely post a thread. I've been puttering and moving things around on my table and straightening up, and I'm ready to scrap. Weekends work out best for that. I only wish I was slightly faster lol. It's going to be beautiful fall weather again here. It will be hard not to stay out all weekend enjoying it! I hope everyone has a fabulous Friday going into the weekend!

This week has hammered me. Way too much time in ZOOM meetings with the State Department of Developmental Services regarding rates and new programs. Funny that during one of the calls the lead state guy asked if I wanted to come work for him. Felt good - but there is no way I'd do that at this stage of my game.
3 medical appointments for Ken this week. We don't seem to be any closer on why he is so darned dizzy all the time.
We are doing a halloween party for the folks we support at the main office on Monday. Decorated offices, costumes, music, dancing, trick or treating from office to office. Folks are so excited. This is the first time in 2 years we've been able to go back to our holiday celebrations.
It's good to see that so many of us are busy and engaged in family time. Doesn't it feel great to start to be able to go out without fear of COVID?
I'll join in on Kitbop's crop. I hope to see you guys there.

gramma, I'm sorry it has been a bad week. I hope things go better with Ken's medical appts. I hope they can find a cause and then cure the dizziness. It's just too easy to fall when you feel off balance all the time. Hugs to both of you. Congrats on the job offer....glad you aren't taking it!! joyfulnana, I hope I can join in the crop this weekend with kitbop too. I will try to arrange things so that works out. @neicey, your scrap get together sounds wonderful. I really miss our Neighborhood Card Club, but we have some even more elderly than I, and they don't feel comfortable starting it up again since Covid. I'm sure you will have a great time. How kind of you to create kits for them. angel97701, I am sorry for all you are experiencing with DS. I'm sure it's discouraging. Take care of yourself so that you have the strength to deal with the stress. I have felt so lethargic this week. I was started on an antibiotic by the nephrologist and I think that's what's doing it. I need to get some energy and get some things done in this messy scraproom. I finally got some cards posted tonight. I have worked on them in spurts but haven't had the "brain power" to post them. I still have some I really want to do, but I think they will have to wait until next month. I hope each of you Sweet Glue-Crew members have a wonderful weekend.

Hey team! How's everyone doing? I'm down with the dreaded Covid - first time I've had it and I'm exhausted. How did everyone's Spookiness go if there was any lol. Quiet night here - well I was sick for one, but it's always quiet here. I have never had a trick or treater here ever. I see all the candy and costumes every year and it never even occurs to me to buy candy for the little goblins. There won't be any coming to my door and I do not need the candy lol. Next up for us is All Saints Day. It's big here and we visit + celebrate the departed although, technically, they should be honoured on All Souls Day, Interested to hear more about All Saints Day in France! I was raised Catholic - I guess?, but I know very little about all the feast days and traditions. Although I've learned quite a lot from Linda . And now I want to watch Coco lol. I do love that movie have felt so lethargic this week. I was started on an antibiotic by the nephrologist and I think that's what's doing it. I need to get some energy and get some things done in this messy scraproom. nylene, please take care of yourself and don't push too hard! Linda I hope you are enjoying your trip! I also put the link to the badge in the OP if anyone wants one for you siggy. Onward to Thanksgiving - I about died that it's November ya'll lol. I hope everyone is having a good week!

Hi, joyfulnana . I'm so sorry you are still feeling exhausted. That Covid can really take you down. I'm glad you are vaxed or it would probably be worse. Hope you are able to get over it quickly. We had lots of Trick-or-Treaters, but not many from our own neighborhood. We saw lots of cars pull up and unload a bunch of kids and leave. One of the kids in Alex's class told me her parents take them to the rich houses and drop them off where the candy is really good. LOL...they picked the wrong area on our corner! On down the street there are homes that go together and serve hot dogs, chips, etc and have places for children (and parents) to sit outside and visit. Maybe that was where they were headed! But they visited us on the way! I would love to know more about All Saints Day, too. I loved the movie, Coco, and want to watch it again tonight. My son-in-law made all the Alebrijes (Spirit Animals) and also one of he Aunts. It's a favorite in our family. I love learning about other country's and culture's holidays. We have the most beautiful snow softly falling right now. It makes me want to bring up my Christmas village! Unfortunately we have to go out in it later for a medical appointments. It's hard to believe that winter is here and Christmas is around the corner.

Hope the Glue Crew is having a great November! angel97701 I'd love to hear more about your printer. If you told about it before, apologies, I missed it (or forgot ...) . Is it a photo printer or a regular print you use for photos. How is it working out for you? When I check on the Glue Crew I say a lil' prayer for your DS, hope it is well there. Neisey how is foster kitty doing? Gaining trust? Even though we've had our cat for years, she started something new recently. At bedtime she comes to the top of the blanket for neck scratches. Then when I am tired of scratching I put my hands under the blanket, and she goes an keeps my feet warm for the night. gramma thank you for your CARDtober challenges. Enjoyable! Did you all resolve your dizzy issues? Hope it is something simple. Sinuses? Those ear crystal things out of place? nylene I've enjoyed your CARDtober responses. I hope you found your energy back. Be kind to yourself! Rest, walks in the sunshine. joyfulnana Yikes!!! Hope all is well. I prescribe kindness for yourself as well! OK I prescribe it for the entire Glue Crew come to think of it! We took another Rail to Trail ride yesterday. It started out quite chilly, like we needed our gloves. It's in a canyon so the sun didn't hit the trail until late morning. It warmed up quite nicely. We were an hour (6 miles - we're slow....) from finishing when my husband got a flat. We carry all the tools but his tires are tricky to change the inner tube so it took an hour. We still got home before dark. I'm posting a picture - so different in the fall without the leafy cover. My daughter won a gift card for how adorable she was as Dorothy. I'm a volunteer teacher's aide in a 2nd grade classroom this year, so I have been giving kids cards for their birthdays. Ryann one kid got the card I made for CARDtober #11. And then I was chatting with another kid who has a birthday next Friday and he said it was a dragon theme so he will get the card from scrapnnana 's CARDtober #28. We had our anniversary last week so I gave my husband the card from azcrafty 's CARDtober #12. He really appreciated it, he felt the love of the special card. My pen pal with vision issues got justjac 's CARDtober #16 which I made extra bold and simple on purpose. My other pen pal got a Thanksgiving card from gramma 's CARDtober #8 Thanksgiving challenge. My stepson's wife got azcrafty's CARDtober #5. My friend got Eddie-n-Harley 's CARDtober #17 challenge.
