I was surprised an organizational video wasn't part of prep day. I think it would be neat to see how various DD team members set up and get ready for Dec 1.

I enjoy listening to others thought processes and watching how they go about setting up, storing, etc.
Maybe also how they plan to use items. Again, everyone comes from a different space so seeing how they all do it differently would be fun to watch.

Once I realized it was all going to be short live intros and then recorded videos I started to tune out. But honestly my participation really depends on when the Nebraska football game is, so this year I was "done" with prep day by early afternoon. There are certain hours I will watch later though.
I do think an organization segment would have been handy now that we're on year 2 of the 10x8 size.

Is there a hash tag I can follow where I can see unique layouts and creative embellishments for DD?
So many seem to regurgitate what Ali does and I am tired of the same old same old.
I don't follow her layouts at all nor any of the like Ali DD creators.
I prefer the outside the box creators.
If anyone has favorites can you post their names?

We do #peacemberdaily here.
I haven't used it yet this year because I haven't made anything yet.
I also just follow #decemberdaily2022
If you follow regular #decemberdaily then you get randos who just take a photo a day and it's pretty awful.
Even with the 2022 you can get some weird stuff.

I only watched through hour 4 yesterday and had to stop after 20 minutes of the first one. Wow. There is no need for 2 hours of talking for this photos.
Ali’s stocking page. I appreciate her joy and enthusiasm for this page, but this is a total miss for me. Didn’t watch the process video.
If anyone purchased the 2020 DD prep day can you check the digital files from that day? I’m looking for a digital cut file from Amy Gretchen. A bunch of circles on a page. The class doesn’t list her as a contributor but she mentions it’s available in a prep class. Thanks!

Ya three stockings would not be my jam. I think just one with a tag insert. Or I was thinking it might be fun to make a see through shaker page with that template and have an enlarged photo behind it of our stockings hanging from the mantle.

I actually thought they did a good job of talking about ways to adapt things for 6x8. I’ve seen everything now except the tech segment (and I quit photography after Ali’s photo I just can’t care about that level of chat for each photo. Hard pass). There were plenty of misses for me but also things I enjoyed and it got me in the spirit and I created pieces for four pages and got some inspiration and ideas and free downloads. I don’t think I can ask for more for $5  I will buy 2021 prep day and watch that some other day/s since I like the idea of it and something festive while working on Christmas. |

Many of the previous years have had organizing hours... it was weird they didn't have anything this year. The closest you got was Ali showing baskets of 'stuff' she has lying around her workspace and one clear container for ephemera. I think the Photo Panel could’ve been executed 50x better. I hate to say it but there is NO ONE who is a good moderator on the team. Someone needs to actually host and moderate the convo so there’s not empty silence and people digging for thoughts to share, which ends up being long and repetitive. I feel this way about most of the AE IG lives or other webinar-ish like events.
