I’m not a fan “critter” stamps or coloring so I’m sure the Lawn Fawn class won’t be one of my favorites. I do like rainbows so hopefully I can do something in that class.
Posted in the Facebook group, it looks like Thursday is not just an evening event. There is at least 1 class on Thursday morning. A 4 day event is llllooooonnnngggg.

Lawn Fawn: unicorns, fairies, and smiley-faced clouds are not my thing. I'll likely skip this class. If this is your look, PM me, and once the goods arrive we can settle up and I'll send them to you.
I have to say that I never completed the squirrel Lawn Fawn cards from the last C+C either :/

Lawn Fawn is the biggest negative for me that I see with this event, too.

I believe I stamped a few squirrels from the Fall 2022 set but never made any cards. The Fall 2021 set with snowflakes hasn’t been opened. For some reason I find her hard to follow along with.

I also think it’s too cute. But, I send cards to my young niece, so I’ll at least do the class cards. All of the lawn Fawn cards from other classes have gone into my donate bin.

I love Lawn Fawn. Give me some Copics and a stack of critters to color and I'm a happy girl. Luckily SCT us a variety of classes.

STC said yesterday in an email they are opening up registration again (for both spring events) for a short time! To register, email Jen at jen@scrapbookandcards.com stating what event(s) you would like to attend as well as providing your complete mailing address and phone number. Jen will send you a PayPal invoice and get you registered. If you didn't register yet, here's your chance! Thank you for the easy to find info and showing all the beautiful sneaks. I ended up contacting Jen and signed up...🤣😂. I couldn't have all you girls have fun without me . Shakti you can try it too, Jen said they had a few more openings.

I love the Oh Hey one we got at the last C&C. If you feel like it, would you share a card or two that you've made with it if they're different from the class cards? I wasn't thrilled with that set, and haven't even used it yet (bad me). Thanks!

In the FB group, folks are talking about buying sets of 15 mesh bags, the letter-size ones so that they can hold full sheets of cardstock. How realistic is that? Do you really enter each class with full sheets or mostly with smaller parts?

I'm not that fancy I have a plastic bin from the dollar tree that I use to organize my class supplies. www.dollartree.com/bright-plastic-locker-bins-with-handles/144761Using the long side, I just stand everything in it, in the order of the classes, and pull out what I need as I go. When class is over I put everything but the completed cards back in the bin. It holds all the flat stuff, stamps, dies, paper, etc. Anything bulky, like stuff in a jar, is off to the side waiting. With everything standing up, it's easy to flip thru the supplies. This is pretty much how I approach my homework too. Once everything is lined up in the bin, I start tackling all the homework one class at a time. Shakti Is this your first time doing a C&C weekend? If so, definitely go back and read thru the posts for the last couple of events. There are a ton of good tips that will help you manage the weekend.

I do like using mesh bags or the like to organize projects in general, so I wouldn't mind getting a few more -- but 15 identical 10 x 12 or so seemed very much like overkill.
Yes, it is my first. I'll go look for them. Thank you!

I'll go look for them. Thank you! I have 20+ of the mesh bags, purchased at different times. My first C&C in March 2021 I already had a few of the bags (maybe 4) and for the other classes I just used gallon sized plastic zip loc style bags. The zip loc style bags worked fine, but I like everything to match. LOL! And the mesh bags are sturdier than the floppy plastic of the zip loc style bags. I use them for things other than just C&C. Keeping projects together, using them instead of manilla folders for transporting documents, taking crafting projects camping, my calligraphy class work, taking a project to the framers or the fabric store for matching. I think if you get them you won't be disappointed. But it's not a necessity. Not saying you do but if you have a limited budget, you might wait to see if you'd rather spend money on supplies or organization.

Yes you will get full sheets of cardstock and some of the stamp sets we’ve received in the past were 8x10. It’s very helpful to have a bag for each class. They don’t need to be fancy, a large ziplock or even a page protector could work. The mesh bags are nice though.
