I played some more with the die set from the first class and came up with these:

Those are all lovely, MichyM ! How did you get the narrow raised frame on the blue and green ones on the bottom and in the middle?

Beautiful cards MichyM. Love the frame around the die cut cover plate, it really adds to the design. Did you use a stylus and score board to create them?

Does anyone have examples of the stitching dies with beads? Like I need to start collecting beads...

I like that you got to see most of the process two times - but I honestly wasn’t thrilled that the instructors did not design the cards they taught. Most of the time I liked the extra ones they showed after the videos, the ones where the teachers designed the cards, better than the ones in the guide and the videos.
It’s possible C9 wanted to have specific looks, or to make things easier for the classes, or to control the overall look. I just prefer to see what these card makers create and I don’t feel it makes full use of their skills.

Thank you azcrafty! I am instagram challenged so whenever anyone posts links or pics (instead of saying something is on IG), I sooooo appreciate it. Seriously, I need to find some young'un to give me IG lessons.

azcrafty and Shakti, yes, I used a scoreboard and stylus to get the raised outline on a couple of my cards.

Well, yesterday they finally replied to my (3) email message(s) about my defective turnabout and the replacement is on the way.

Me too. She posted it in the FB group a week or so ago and I saved it as inspiration.

That is a great card. I have really enjoyed several of the challenge cards attendees have posted.

Someone was looking to buy the Tiny Terrarium set. Someone posted one a couple days ago (7/21 5:40 pm) in the C&9 BST thread on FB and I don't see any comments or other signs that it sold. azcrafty looks like it was you.

Today I think I will finally re-do the turnabout card with the replacement stamp set.
I'm not sure when or if I will take on the bonus projects -- might file those in my binder or might leave them on the project cart as a reminder.
Either way, I will consider the camp classes finished once that one card is.
Grumble. In the intervening months, my Turnabout Jig has vanished....

Spend hours tearing the craft room apart. First I looked where I thought it ought to be. Then I looked in the places it was somewhat likely to be. Then the places it shouldn't be. Than "all" the other places. Then I started putting a new one on wish lists at various etailers. Then it finally occurred to me that I hadn't looked in the stamp tool organizer, which is very ironic. I don't usually have that out, but I did today because I was embossing.
Sure enough, that's where it was. Way, way too late to craft today, but I'll put it with the rest of the stuff and maybe get to it next weekend.
I was really getting nervous that I was going to have to place the order for a new one for it to turn up!

And now, at long last, I did restamp and finish: Despite the flaw, it seems to me the stamping looks better in the original. I wonder if the cubes are drying up.
