Not real thrilled with that sneak peek, but I went and reviewed the list of classes and realized that was the one class I thought I wouldn't like right from the first description. So I'm good. Looking forward to more peeks. I'm really glad that Hero Arts is trying to do the sympathy cards again. I was disappointed last time when that fell through. Sympathy cards are the ones I have almost no stamps/dies for.

Yep, I’m registered.
So the C&9 peek isn’t the best but I really like the soft colors and the friend word die.

Yes, I did sign up.
Re: the sneak peek. I kind of like that it's different. I get tired of the same thing over and over. Plus I've learned (over 5 of these so far) not to judge by the sneak peek. Some classes that I thought I wouldn't like I ended up really liking (thinking of the P&M envelope stand up card).

I am also registered!
I love C&9 but I wasn’t that thrilled with the spring C&9 Materials (the cards seemed adorable but I don’t really have anyone to send that sort of card to—most of our friends and family are completely landlocked in the Midwest and the sea/lighthouse theme just didn’t do it for me). Super sad to say the C&9 sneaks aren’t cute to me either. Hoping for the best for the other sneaks.

Although I live on the water and love that set, I'm going to try and use the postal part for something else. I love the postage stamps (ten and twenty-five cents) and also the wavy cancellation stamp. And the postage stamp die is a square rather than the traditional rectangle. And like GiantsFan, I've learned that although sometimes I don't like what I see in the sneaks, by the time the class rolls around, I've changed my mind.

Oops! Deleted the post that MDscrapaholic is responding to because I couldn't get it to set up correctly. Quotes and I don't always agree. Basically it said that I had recently purchased Waffle Flower's Christmas postal stencil and the postal die, but did not want to spend more to get the stamps that went with it. I realized later that the postal stamps from C&9 had several stamps that would work really well the Waffle Flower set. Problem solved!
Edited to add that her post referred to here is gone also. It's not my day for using the quote feature! If none of this makes any sense to you, you're not alone!

I'm signed up too! I'm fairly new to card making, more of a scrapbooker, so lots to learn. My one recommendation for your first event, don’t even attempt to complete everything during the weekend, you won’t. Set your expectations for what you will accomplish very low. If you go into the weekend thinking you are going to finish every card, you will be very disappointed. It’s a fabulous event but it’s loooooong and tiring. The videos are there forever so pace yourself. And have fun! ETA: go back and read the threads for past events. There are lots of good tips in those posts.

I've done their paper crafting events so I know the pace can be hectic. Lol. I'm planning to take a look at the book and just pick a couple of cards that I think I can manage for the live event. And I will look back at the old threads. Thanks!

The Lawn Fawn peek doesn't do it for me but that's no surprise since LF is really not my style. I didn't see this posted on any other pages so here are the descriptions of the classes to go along with the sneak peeks.

Although I am certainly starting to take on some FOMO, there are three strikes against trying the waiting list thing again, in my mind: (1) haven't finished the classes from the last one, (2) still have products to unload from the last one, and (3) I registered for the Expo in this region for that weekend. It will be nice to be in person instead of virtual!
I am particularly disappointed to be missing the Hero Arts sympathy cards and Honeybee, but those are two brands that either used released products or eventually released them, so hopefully I'll be able to circle back and get the products if your creations inspire me!

My number came up for the waitlist but I passed. I decided to do the Pinkfresh Holiday Cardmaking event instead. I’m also interested in the Paige Evans december daily type class she’s doing that uses her new christmas collection.

Ryann - or anyone else who can help . . .
Can someone tell me where I can find information on Paige Evan's Christmas/December Daily class? I've searched her website and keep coming up blank.
Thanks!

Isn't she doing that in the C&CD Holiday event? I think she’s doing layout(s) & a card for C&CD?? ETA: from CC&D website: “Learn how to create a double-page spread, single 12×12 layout, and a card with the first Christmas collection from Paige Evans & American Crafts, Sugarplum Wishes!”

Paige posted on IG that her Halloween album kit/class goes up for sale around Sept 12th, so I assume the christmas one will be listed sometime after that. The holiday album kit/class is being held on November 1st; it’s listed on her upcoming events page on her website. ETA: All I've seen mentioned is that it uses her new collection and that the class will create the base pages for a December daily album type project.
