I guess my contribution to October Daily is just doing something Halloween related and seeing if it gets close to 31 days. 😄 I made a page for my family album and the Halloween album. The Superman page accidentally got adhered too soon, so it's a little crooked. Also, a question. What do you use to adhere sequins? I had issues!   I either use clear dots (zots) if the sequin has no holes or is large enough or use clear craft glue and put some down then lay the sequin upside down and press. I tend to place my sequins that curve upside down. Flat ones are best. |

I'm trying to move right along with my OD (yeah, that doesn't work, does it?).
I am working on the band event that was Thursday. I found this really cool composition paper in my stash that looks like a school notebook. Perfect. Pull out some rub ons. Gonna put that number right on the front in the little box like it was made for those numbers.
Press down the one being super careful not to touch any other numbers. Then half the dang sheet sticks to my perfect paper.
Luckily I had a similar one also in my stash but it is black. It still works. I cut the 1 and the 2 from the rub ons and get to work. Throw the rest of that garbage in the trash and print some photos. Now I have a cute little book.
Next up: stories 13 and 14 will be the COVID shot and the balloons that were all over town. We even saw them from our house.
Again, they will share the same pocket. Journaling will be printed on tags that slip in the pocket between the photos on each side.
The back will be story 15. Then I'll be pretty caught up. I have a few ideas/filler stories because not much happens during the week. Next weekend is my birthday and we'll do something fun.

Boo Buckets are back today. I didn't get one last year. I texted dh if he could grab one from McD's while out today traveling between school sites. I asked for purple or orange and he got the purple! That will be today's story. I said enjoy the food if you want since I can't eat it (except the fries).

Aannddddddd pumpkins are NOT part of the quarantine! I got the new updated list from CA dept of Farming and Agriculture. Yay. We will be going Sunday.
We were really bummed about that as we love to go.

What does everyone do for days that nothing happened or you have nothing to document?
I have 1 day so far (15th) and most likely the 20th.
Another was Friday the 13th but doing a fun oage about it being Friday the 13th.

I have a list of ideas that I'm pulling from (mostly involving cats): my husband found a photo of our kid jumping in the leaves when she was about 4 or 5. It was a facebook memory so I saved the photo. Names we call the cats. Cat costumes. Witch house (bought for the cats) a weird flower I saw artifacts from the new house missing the Zombie walk (pull photos from facebook) RAK I got Cat Lady Box Things I already did that could be any day: dinner I ate when I was alone new mug photo of the cat in the window Serena Bee has a list of October Daily ideas too. |

Something black, something orange, thoughts on candy corn (👎), favorite memory, favorite villain, do you prefer horror and gore (👎) or cute jack-o’-lanterns and candy themes (👍)? Do you like Nightmare Before Christmas? Do a page about whether you think it is a Halloween or Christmas (or both) movie. For Friday the 13th, you could do a page asking if you and people in your family are superstitious or a little stitious. |

I just completed day 14. My day 4 still needs some work. I need to chat with my kid and get her story since it’s a zombie photo of her and I want her to write what she would do as a zombie. But besides that through day 14 is completed. I don’t think my album is over complicated and i like that. I’m having a lot of fun playing with stamps and supplies.

Today I picked up lunch at a sandwich place called Which Wich.
On Wednesdays in October they to Wicked Wich Wednesdays where you get the Wicked sandwich for $5.
I am delighted.
I did not order the Wicked as it comes with 5 meats and a bunch of cheese and peppers.
So hard pass for this vegetarian but I love it when businesses do cute things.

I’m making dinner my kids will hate so I’m stopping and getting them boo buckets so I can stick it in the album. You get a sticker set with a blank face on the other side. Each boo bucket is different. I made the 2 faces and trimmed some off of the circle, punched holes, and added them to my album. They are in front of where the layout will be. |

I had 4 photos of them and I had saved the packaging. I used the paper I had made earlier in the Fall with the orange circles. I cut photos to fit inside the circles and I will attach green ribbon to them so it will look kinda like a pumpkin.
I loved what Ali did in her Halloween book with the witchy page so I'm going to do something similar with that big tag.
I just need to go through that video on superspeed until I find it. I forgot what she did but I liked it. Ha!

Well I was going to do the Great Shake Out for today but instead I had to call AAA for a flat tire. Seems my valve stem is a concern and is slowly leaking air. Ugh.
So took a photo of the truck behind my van at the store.

Ugh, the *bux apple crisp oat milk iced espresso is not for me. Nope. I did it as a decaf and reduced the apple brown sugar syrup by one pump, but it’s so bitter. I added real brown sugar at home to try and balance it but still, nope. I have the 😣 ugh emoji face after every sip. Trying to decide if I should even finish it.

Trying to decide if I should even finish it. I'm sure you've decided by now but I have tossed coffees in the trash when they were horrible, also teas. So annoying. I haven't been to SB yet this year (maybe last year too). I've been thinking of going though. Maybe this weekend. |
