Oh yeah, finished another page. My husband texted me a photo of the sunrise from his work this morning. He leaves the house around 5 so he catches some nice ones.
Got out some stickers and spelled out Fall sunrises. Put a 17 underneath in gold letters from a past December Daily. Sometimes it's gotta be easy. And it's also stunning.
I have absolutely no desire to photograph this album and share publicly. Who am I? I used to really love that.
Maybe I'll do it later.
So glad there's no school tomorrow. The kid and I are going to check out an exhibit at the archives called Women Making History and we are both excited.

The apple crisp one last year (with no oat milk) was horrible. I find a lot of SB coffees to be bitter...almost burnt tasting. It stinks when we spend money on a gross item we should enjoy. Yeah, I could’ve spent that money on something tried and true… My husband said SB is known for being in the bitter side but I usually order smooth sweet coffees - vanilla sweet cream nitro/cold brew, peppermint mocha. My husband likes bitter coffee and beer but he said this monstrosity I ordered tasted wrong, maybe metallic. And yes, blemon I dumped it down the sink and made myself a chai later on. Even only drinking about 4oz of it I felt quite sick. Maybe it will help me avoid the place and save my money!

blemon how is your dd's injury? Thanks for asking. The doc did not do expensive x-rays. Since she is in less pain than before, he said brace for two more weeks, if she still has pain, brace up to 4 weeks then go see him again if it's not better. Since it's on the growth plate but she's 15, he's treating it like a break. Luckily no cast! No acro or contact activities for 4 more weeks but she is fine with that. Sometimes it hurts to play her instrument so she just doesn't. She is approved to play and do dance but can sit out if she starts hurting. So that's all great news! She is feeling better every day.

Wanted to share what I did for day 13. Huge Peanuts fan and found this picture on Google. Had to use it!

Working on days 19 and 20 today. Thinking of doing smaller pockets (3x4) for each day with pull out journaling tags. Then for day 21 use the bottom 4x6 pocket.

I'm working on Day 18 and I'm using the tag pocket I made for the swap. I love that thing and I hope everyone else does too. I'm using a photo of our trip to Goodwill for costumes. There was a thing in the front of the store for you to stick your head through for a photo. Fun.
Going to layer some tags.

And yes, blemon I dumped it down the sink and made myself a chai later on. Another dumb question about tea! What brand do you like or is this something more involved where you add things to make the tea? I attempted to make a chai tea latte at home. It did not end well. Any tips would be appreciated for making the latte or just suggestions for the non latte part.
Today, I was excited to finally make the minion page from 2017. I have the CUTEST photo of my son with the entire faculty at the elementary school because they chose the minion theme that year and that happened to be my son's costume. His sweet teacher wanted him included.
Could I find that specific paper I've hoarded for over five years? NO. My living room looks like a scrapbook store exploded. I truly thought I had my stash organized well. Tonight I will thoroughly be putting EVERYTHING away and hope I discover the papers.
I finished my last two Halloween cards to send to school next week.

Any tips would be appreciated for making the latte or just suggestions for the non latte part. There are NO dumb questions about tea. Tea is my favorite. Honestly, I have not found a bagged chai that I like (where you brew/steep). Some don't have enough flavor, some have too much black pepper, and some are rooibus and I just can't stand that kind of tea. I buy the vegan, caffeine-free chai in a box by Oregon Chai. I either pour it on ice and add some rice milk, or put it in the microwave for a bit then add some rice milk (or oat milk). This is my favorite. I only drink decaf tea and my favorite brand is Harney and Sons. They have 20% off coupons all the time and that's when I stock up. I like the vanilla comoro. It's amazing. Their decaf Paris is also pretty tasty.

Their decaf Paris is also pretty tasty. Do you happen to know if their teas are certified gluten free? I looked at my Harney tea (a couple of different types) and it's marked Kosher but nothing else, so you might have to search their site or email them. I drink Stash Tea chai, just steeped tea bags because I'm lazy. We use sweetened condensed which is quite authentic. It's not a very spicy tea bag, which I prefer, but there's a stronger version. I can't get decaf at my supermarket so I decaf it myself if needed by steeping it in some boiling water for about 30 sec-1min and then tossing that cup. Most of the caffeine is released in the first 30 seconds from a tea bag, apparently. Stash is marked nonGMO and Kosher but also nothing about gluten free. A "proper" Indian chai is made with loose leaf tea and spices on the stovetop with milk, like this kolkatachai.co/pages/chai-making-guide but I can't be bothered. The concentrates in the supermarket are a really good alternative but they seem very expensive to me. They might closely replicate the taste of coffee shop chai though, since they typically use a concentrate with steamed milk. The balance of spiciness can be very different depending on which one you get.

Do you happen to know if their teas are certified gluten free? Found this: All of our teas are gluten-free with one possible exception. The Soba [roasted buckwheat] comes from a supplier that handles gluten products so it may contain traces."Jan 20, 2014

Thank you for all the tea help!❤️ It's been a gorgeous fall day here, so we went on a walk. I wanted to see the house with the graveyard fence. We talked to a lady a few houses down and said, "If you really want to see some decorations..." Then she gave us directions for the house in the newer subdivision. Oh my! Halloween on steroids! We are definitely driving by at night. This is going to be photo heavy. This is the older house.

The second photo is from another home. These are not large homes. They have average sized yards, but wow! They fit a lot in there!

What does everyone do for days that nothing happened or you have nothing to document? I have 1 day so far (15th) and most likely the 20th. Another was Friday the 13th but doing a fun oage about it being Friday the 13th. I'd use a photo of gourds or leaves or fall foods (what's your favorite?) or fall clothes (what are you wearing on repeat this year?) or what I'm reading/watching/listening to (current season of GBBO anyone?)

There should be a sample size of the seasonal sizes. Like how breweries pour a taste before you commit to a full glass.

I still regret not trying a sample of the weird olive oil infused coffee drink one day when they had tiny tastes because I've been curious about it but totally not willing to take the risk on a cup full. Oh well. I've been trying to cut back on my bux habit anyway and Xmas drinks are coming Nov 2.
