Just stopped by for a little enabling. Those are awesome! A 4x4 would be cool. I just looked through my bin of Halloween supplies and found the little moths you gave me last year. I can't wait to use them. They are still my favorite. |

Paige Evans has been posting sneak peeks of her upcoming Halloween album and class. I have loved everything she’s posted, but the class and kit is $260! Am I the only one who thinks $260 for an album class and kit is crazy high? $260 is A LOT of money!  |

It is a lot of money, but it does include specialty items that you can’t buy just anywhere. The album and charm are both handmade, so that’s going to cost $$$.

I wonder if there will be acrylic elements in the kit using her new glowforge.
It is pricey, and doesn't she usually do a 4x4 album? I don't think I would pay that much for such a small album overall. Maybe, *maybe* for a Christmas kit, but not Halloween. I am curious to see how her album turns out though.

I did a Fall Faves mini album class with Nettio Designs a few years ago and it's one of my favorite completed projects.
I have a lot of fall products so maybe it's time to do another fall mini book?
It will be more autumn meets month in the life. Halloween isn't really my jam.

I just ordered some of Echo Park's Monster Mash. I kept thinking about this collection so when a French retailer got it in stock earlier this week, I decided to grab some pieces. So, so cute! The paper with all the spooky eyes is *chef's kiss*. I also got Luna, the family chihuahua, a Halloween coat with tulle skirt. I'm ready for all things October (except the cold weather)! |

I went through my Halloween Album and noticed there's about seven years of Halloween costumes I haven't scrapped.  Also one year where I helped a friend with a Halloween Photo booth at a school event. Those should keep my busy.
Next step, ordering the photos.
There is the Halloween of 2010 where no photos were taken except at a store event where they took our photo. If I find it, I will be so happy.

I have decided on a collection to use for my October Daily (Simple Stories Harvest Market), but what album size do you guys use?
The last time I did A Week in the Life I used an Ali Edwards kit and album. Then I had to work with weird 2 by 2 spots in the page protectors which was a challenge.
I have some empty 8.5 by 11 albums but that seems too big and they're dark blue so not very Octoberish. I don't have anything else laying around so I probably need to order something...

I pre-ordered AC Farmstead Harvest items with my Shimelle preorder and the Farmstead 12x12 paperpad is holding everything up, Eta says August. If anyone see this pop up let me know. I'm hoping it ships soon.

what album size do you guys use? Last year I used a simple stories burlap album I had for forever. 6X8 This year I'm using simple stories again -- the black and white stripe. 6X8 It's just a good size for me. I think once my kid is off to college, I'll start making smaller albums. I LOVE the idea of a chonky little 4x4. |

I was thinking about doing an October Daily, buuuuut:
- I started a Halloween 6x8 a couple years to add pages to for whatever spooky season stuff I wanted, past Halloweens, current. A mish mash of Halloween fun. I still have a lot of pages to go to fill it. I don’t mind this being an ongoing thing I add to over many years. But I don’t want to abandon it entirely and if I’m doing an OD I would probably end up never adding to it this year.
- I am really craving 12x12 layouts lately and am looking forward to making a dent in my Halloween stash by making this size. I just can’t consume enough paper in a small format to use it at the rate I bring in more. I love Halloween paper stuffs, so I don’t want to have to stop buying what I love. I just need to use it up better.
- I’m going to Disneyland with my daughter & Oogie Boogie Bash in October! Plus one extra park day where I will be photographing everrrtything Halloweeny. The focus of this trip is Halloween vibes, not rides. I’m going to be taking a million pictures and I plan to make a stand-alone mini album of just this trip. (Usually our Disney trips go into comprehensive Disney albums).
So with all this in my agenda, I don’t think a standard OD will work. I’m super looking forward to all this spooky scrapbooking I have planned though! 👻

The US Fall menu at Starbucks should become available sometime this week, it seems.
Here's what I found online for you Americans:
"More importantly, here's what to expect: seasonal favorites including the Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, and Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato. Plus two new beverage options: Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso and Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte.

Anybody else into preludes for their month-long projects like OD and DD? I love to include the first memories related to a special holiday season even if they precede the actual start of the project. 😊 I will for sure include my Starbucks fall menu drink when ours become available in September.

And I got this comfy costume for Luna, the family dog. She's not a fan of having anything on her head and will often trip and fall due to sleeves so I was happy to find a funky spider collar for her. I may have been swayed by the fact the colours match Echo Park's Monster Mash collection which I bought recently... Also, the convincing words from the vendor, of course. "For looking more beautiful and adorable." 😇  |

But probably not, my daughter will be in a ballet production of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe this year so I think I will have to save those puns for December Daily. But I am excited. I finally got everything organized. Now, it's not like in a useable way but everything is neat and tidy and ready to go. I bought this over-the-door rack to organize DD last year and I think I'm going to use it for October this year as well. I have some plans. Hoping to work on that a bit this weekend. |
