Going back to page TWO of this thread... joblackford those ghost and punkin cards are so cute! Love all the inked-in greenery and your moons look perfect. I really want to perfect that look of moon in an evening sky. Speaking of perfect, that Brothers page hits all the marks for a masculine page. Is that swoop of colours a paper in that kit? Or did you cut those strips? My mind is trying to figure out how I could work with my nested arch dies to create a similar effect? Of course the page design works wonderfully, but my favourite part is your heartfelt journaling. Don't blink. They will be gone before you know it. Linda, your little princess looks so sweet, and you put this photo on a great fairytale background. Love the little diecut/sticker to balance the photo. Your work modifying the square sketches to your pages' size & shape is phenomenal. And what great memories you are scrapping right now! Love the Camp Fun with all the pinks, not expected with this theme, but perfect for these sweet photos. Love all those cookies under the s'mores photos. Love your hedgehog cluster especially, but really how all your little clusters/icons pin down the photo corners on the Great Outdoors page. I just want to come and leaf through all of your wonderful albums...

I posted these on the Sheetload thread. I need to find more fall supplies in these kinds of colors! I love them. It’s an old Paige Evans collection that was too pretty to cut into and now wish I had bought in bulk. I might embellish these a bit more when I’m finished another set with a related paper. grammadee what a lovely collection of grandkid pages. The Girls of Summer page really caught my eye, such lovely colors to go with those photos. The last lake page is very fun with all those pp waves. I love the hot dog piece on the light it up page, and wow, you fussy cut the logs for that fire? Your 9/10 page is a great way to remember such a great quote. The angles on your OHA page work really well with the photos of Raine, and wow, what a great adventure she’s on. I’m always impressed by how many pages you get done.

joblackford those leafy cards are gorgeous. Got my fingers itching to pull out some leaf stencils and inks. If you don't find more of this paper, you could definitely replicate these colours that way...

Here is another dump of completed pages, put together with kits I assembled to take to the LSS last week but finished afterward. This first LO I built during our crop on Wednesday. No SKETCHtember points for this one. But a whole lot of photos from an afternoon event now ready to go into my scrapbook: We are FAMILY by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Again, no sketch for this one. Just a big stack of photos, trying to capture one dgs's day at the fair. Fair Fun by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Two LO's from this morning, both for SKETCHtember challenges. This first is for Linda 's #20. I actually set up the photo blocks on my phone with PhotoCollage especially for that second page. This is the year! by Gramma Dee, on Flickr And for this last one I guess Paige Evans got into my head, forcing me to fussy cut those LEGO borders LOL. For AussieMeg 's SKETCHtember #16 challenge. POINTS: Eight 12x12 pages (160), created & shared (16). Twenty-nine photos scrapped for the Donna challenge (29). Two SKETCHtember challenges with twists (16). N/S-13 four generations. 222.

I've been trying out some simple coloring with this detailed Impression Obsession stamp that I received as part of the round robin I hosted on the card board. The shading in the stamp makes the coloring easier. I use Tombow dual brush markers. I tried it as a one layer card on white, colored on Bristol smooth, and on a colored base (from one of those scrapbook dot com pads) which soaked up a lot of the color and left the coloring quite muted. Discovered I don't have many fall sentiments. It took me a while to notice the cat in silhouette behind the pumpkin! Sept share pumpkins by jo.blackford, on Flickr

I only just finished this but I'm excited to share it right away because I'm so proud of how the moon turned out! I really wanted to learn how to get a good spooky moon glow and I've been debating about getting TH moon stencils which are always out of stock, or maybe the new Picket Fence ones. I watched a Prairie Paper & Ink video last night (photo of the project below) that got me inspired to try it without buying anything - surely I could just use a circle die cut for the mask, right? And it worked so well. I don't really need the defined craters on the moon. I just blended some yellow ink and misted and splattered with water. And I have nested circle dies so I can make the moon different sizes very easily. Sept share - moon! by jo.blackford, on Flickr Inspiration: http://instagram.com/p/Cxl3JkPRxAD

God job on the spooky moon, joblackford! And I love all your coloured spooky scenes, but my favourite is the top left, I think with all the different leaves, I guess the one on bristol board.

Thanks! The top left is actually straight onto Neenah white 80lb, one layer. If I play around with that stamp again I’ll try mixing up the leaf colors more

I have been thinking about and collecting supplies for awhile now. My youngest dgd turns thirteen mid October, and I thought I would play on the Halloween/fright theme about the prospects of a newly minted teenager... I started with a little Dollar Store notebook cover and a Happy Halloween banner, complete with black cat. (That was a fun find b/c she actually HAS a black cat as a pet) Meeting a couple of Q-4 challenges before the end of September here... My own "use purple", Linda 's eyelet challenge, and nylene 's On the FOLD. POINTS: one 5x7 card (15), created & shared (2). P-2 eyelents, C/M-9 purple, T-9 interactive, T-10 on the fold, Th-2 Halloween. Total: 22.
I have a die that creates a pop up, but of course I decided to just go ahead and build from scratch. I plan to add some wobble springs to the EEK panels so that when she unties the ribbon the panels will spring open and give her a bit of a jump.
