Open. Mainly because one of our cats scratches the door endlessly, if it is closed and we are in there. She doesn’t even sleep in the room. Just wants access. ![(rofl)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/rofl.png) The bedroom gets really stuffy when the door is shut. There is no way I could sleep in there at the elevated temp.

I said open because we lien a boat and the a/c circulation is quite important in the summer. If I were in a house, the door would be closed.

Closed. For fire purposes. I once saw a video demonstrating how a closed door contains fire and slows its growth. And it was scary!

Closed.
1. We have programmable thermostats. The main area temperature goes up at 10pm and the bedroom temperature goes down. We want the cool air to stay in the bedroom.
2. The fire department recommends closing your doors because research has shown that a closed bedroom door will improve your chances to survive if there is a fire in your home.
