joyfulnana the only way DD works for me is to type the journaling every day. Each day I pull up my ongoing word document and type my journaling. I format while I'm typing. So it's either 3x4 or 4x6 or 3x8. And I take my pics. Usually during the time off I have for New years, I print all my pics and print my journaling. And then I tend to be a simple scrapper too. So I usually have no problem getting it all done on my little holiday break. I also am good about keeping my supplies to a minimum when I scrapbook. I gather my collection of things I want to use and that's it. But I don't ever go hunting for every little thing. I use a kit and that is it. I like this idea! Probably should use it for my PL for our school year so when I look at pictures years later I can remember why we were studying the moon, Charlotte's Web and Guatemala at the same time and if they correlated in some way

I haven't been good at doing much. I want to, but I'm just not being creative at all. I am in the middle of a bit of a craft room reno though! We're moving the exercise equipment out, I'm adding a rug, curtains, a table and some chairs and then getting some things to better organize my craft space. I want to get it cleaned up some and organized better so when I do get the inspiration and time to create, I can.

We have to do home work? THAT's why DD doesn't work for me...
Quite proud of myself that I have at least one photo per day so far this month. Hoping that the dates provided by my phone will help put them in order once I sit down to scrap them. Thinking of doing this over a few 12x12 spreads with one photo per day, maybe one, two, three or four per page? Okay. I have made no real plans at all. But I HAVE snapped the photos! (well, so far...)
I don't feel like that really. I feel like the fact that I type out my journaling each takes me 5 minutes and then I just click print at the end of the month and I'm able to scrap it all in like 2 days. I feel like it doesn't feel overwhelming that way. And I don't feel compelled to scrapbook all the through the month of December when I'm super busy just trying to enjoy the holidays. and I always start out gung-ho with both the photos and journaling the prompts. Then as the month goes along and things get busier I let it slide and just take photos. The last few years I attempted any kind of DD it ended up feeling like a chore, so I'm just going to let that project go and do a couple of 12x12 spreads this year. As long as I stay out of the giant DD thread here I'm good. Once I start seeing what everyone is doing I get FOMO and want to do a DD too lol.

boymom5 I've been in pretty low mojo slump myself. That's exciting that you are doing a mini reno! Organizing and moving things around can really get me excited to scrap. Even just really cleaning up my table makes me want to scrap lol.

I have years of albums with great journaling. And then I have years of albums with no journaling. And I appreciate when I took the time to tell the story. So that's my focus now.

Not sure where my mojo is at. I still THINK about scrapbooking alot. Printed pic's last week, so I have a ton of them to scrap, but nothing but two pages put together in the last month. Still planning on putting together a few Christmas cards to go with gifts and a couple of January bd cards before the end of this month. Maybe the stars will align and I will have some scrappy time before New Years. And joyfulnana, I promise to add up my points since I dropped the ball early in November... Wishing you all the holiday season you most want: full of Merry & Bright, Peace & Joy, friends and family, or a little relaxation tucked away from the world for a few days. Whatever it is like, I hope you take time to enjoy the moments. (And maybe snap a few pic's for scrapping later). Safe travels to you and all your loved ones.

grammadee I THINK about scrapping a lot too. So much thinking that at times it almost feels like I did the actual scrapping and then there's no mojo. I've been puttering around with my supplies, and figuring out where I've left off on some projects. I hope I can sneak in some time soon to work on something. Happy Holidays and safe travels to you all!

Happy Holidays team! I hope it's wonderful day for all of you! I'll be nagging about points in the next week . I'm so looking forward to a New Year. It feels all fresh and clean, and the outgoing year always feels tired and old by this point. After a year of mostly missing mojo, I'm really looking forward to a productive creating and crafting year!

Happy Thursday, Glue Crew! How is the end of the year--and Q-4--shaping up for you? Hoping you are enjoying the holiday season wherever you are and whatever you are doing.
I am having a relaxing day today: no one here but dh & me and dd's dogs--the "kids" have gone skiing. Dh is watching hockey and I had planned to craft (have a couple of cards to make and a ton of photos I want to scrap), but can't quite get my head around creativity this morning, so I took the time to add up points for November and December, a task that is way easier if I go week by week and don't pile six weeks of counting together.

I did get quite a bit completed this art but haven’t kept track of points! I need to do that better next time.
We spent Christmas away and I visited a LSS which was super fun. I don’t really have any close by home. I got some things to play with and lots of pictures from fun memories.
I am still going to finish my goal of completing my school album from 2019. So close but unpacking and l chores have taken precedence

I'm ending the quarter on a high note by scrapping my DD. I should be able to finish up before the clock strikes midnight tomorrow. 😉 And then I will add up all my points on Monday. But with my OD and my DD I should have quite a few. And then I will have a ton of other crafts points too for my crochet projects.

Happy New Year's Eve team! I have sorta kept up on my points. I do a lot more paper pushing than anything else and I'm great at tracking those times, but it's all in FUN so no need to be super accurate, do a best guess boymom5 . @jeremeysgirl, YAY!! Way to go! That's awesome! I'm glad October ended up a little happier for you. (((hugs))). I've been rereading this thread to catch back up and I really like the way you are doing your DD. I can see how if you format the journaling as you go, it would be really easy to put the album together. If I would keep up with the journaling lol. I'm like grammadee I depend on the photo to remind me. I hope you all have a wonderful last day of the year. It will be a quiet, slow day here and I'm all about it lol. I'm going to put my LOS away for the past year, and do some planning of pages for the next Q. I'm thinking of a theme a quarter this year. I jump around so much, and I would really like to make more progress on some of these photos next year. So Q1 will be Christmas - 2023 and past years that haven't been scrapped yet. Q2 maybe my cat, because I have lots of pages to do about her, and new theme Q3, etc. And then of course trying to participate here as much as possible. I'm ready to set challenges when the thread goes up LOL!

joyfulnana I posted my total in the Q4 thread. It was 5185. Other crafts (crochet) really boosted my point total. I had to go back through my planner to add up my time.

My total is 0. I was a very unscrappy scrapper this season. I would like the chance to redeem myself joyfulnana.

No worries scrapmaven, this is all for fun and life happens, I've had my times of zero points too. No need for redemption, and don't let it stop you from playing again

I need to figure mine out and I’m a little behind. I got sick right after the new year started and I’m recovering from that. If it’s ok, I should be able to get mine totaled in the next couple of days. If that’s too long, no worries—it’s not a game changer huge number!

Hey ComplicatedLady that's cool, no rush if you're sick and every point counts even though we have nothing on the line lol.

So I guessing I did about 30 LO. I was bad keeping track this wet though I was working. I didn’t keep track of my organizing or editing hours and such. Oh well. Let’s say 600 points for me.
