Another question - can you only buy Moonstones to get more? Or do you earn them through game play? You can get them in regular game play. The caveat is that if you play the Star Path - which is like a seasonal bunch of quests to earn items, you have to collect ALL the items before you can gain Moonstones. You can also gain Moonstones once per day via a hidden treasure box somewhere in your lands. And they just opened "DreamSnaps" which is a photo contest each week. There's a theme and you snap a photo and submit it to DLV. The following Wednesday you will be able to vote between 2 photos for your preference and then you receive 50 Moonstones for voting the maximum # of times. I think the max is only like 10. You also receive Moonstones for participating, as well as some other items. So you absolutely can earn Moonstones in game, it's just not very quickly if you are interested off the bat in something high dollar. Hope that helps! |

I've been playing for almost a year and loving this game. Have not played ACNH since I got it. I play on a switch and the only thing that bothers me is the limits. Most other systems have 1200/6000 (something like that) and the switch has half. I am always hitting the limit and have to delete things.

I waited too long to buy the download 😫 on sale so now I might as well wait for the physical game to release. 😕 I thought I’d get a Nintendo e-shop card at Target with my Red Card and save a few more bucks but couldn’t get to the store early enough in the week. I thought I had until Thursday but on Thursday the sale was over. 🤦🏻♀️ So dumb.

I - like many looking for a thrill akin to ACNH - bought this, but it's too quest driven and I just can't get into it. Also, the Merlin drives me nuts. I may pick it back up eventually. Unsure.

I said this exact same thing to ODS this morning about the quests. But I have realized it is not the amble along AC game. It is fun. There are daily tasks. Just wait until you ask anyone to hang out. Especially Goofy. While you are trying to fish. |

kluski, I think this game w/a little bit of a learning curve, but once you play for a bit you'll get it and it's fun.

It looks to me that you could only purchase Founders (standard, deluxe, or ultimate) OR Cozy, not a combination. I could be incredibly wrong though. Deadline for Founders is Dec 4th. |

I don’t understand the global launch either. Hasn’t it already launched? I mean I’m playing it…a lot! Disney "launched" it in a testing phase with the intention of it being a free game with paid content, is my understanding. Now they've decided since they received "free feedback" from everyone who's been playing it (over a year by the time they "launch"), now they're "launching". It reminds me of Animal Crossing with the expansion they had and Mario Kart, but neither of those games is as buggy as DLV. People still post that their games are crashing all the time and, personally, my Scrooge's has been half empty - the entire left side of the store & windows - for months. Oh, not to mention the missing critters. |

December 5th is supposed to open your valley to visits from friends, much like visiting an island on ACNH. I foresee lots of crashing from bugs at first, but it's coming!

DLV Peas - there's a code for some free Autumn stuff, just enter the code "AUTUMNBUNDLE" on the redemption screen. ^.^ Question about codes (I’m following the FB page)…. Is there a place in the game to redeem? Or do I go to the PlayStation store and redeem the code there like I did with my moonstone code from my Cozy purchase? |

Im struggling with how to do things - there was no tutorial or anything when I started, and no menu showing you what buttons to press for things.
Google was NO help - took trial and error and ages to figure out the triangle opened the backpack ugh.

My DD thought there was a menu at the bottom of the screen for reminders but she hadn't played in a while.... There was no real "follow along/tutorial" at the start, so it was frustrating to try and do tasks when you didn't know where to look! |

Finally getting the hang of this!! lucyg I think I even have the hang of fishing - took quite a few tries but I'm getting there lol. WHEN do I get to re-do my house? I've opened the beach area (just) and was able to enlarge my house but the outside is ugly lol. And I do have a second cottage that was a perk of the Cozy edition I think - I haven't put it anywhere yet though. And Maribel's house is HUGE! It took me forever to find a spot to put it - and I don't like where it is. I feel like my village is going to be like my June's Journey properties with shit stuck everywhere. And then I hit TikTok and all the beautiful videos of people setting things up.....ack! |

Open your furniture mode near your house and click your house, see if there's an option for "replace" or something similar. I thought that cottage was a house replacement, but I could be totally wrong. I have everything unlocked and it's just kinda tossed around to make it easier for quests. It's atrocious and my oldest DD is appalled. >.< And then I hit TikTok and all the beautiful videos of people setting things up.....ack! I fear my feelings when I visit a Pea... our Peas are excellent decorators. |
