I am not going to dispute you because we do see what we see, and the kid was certainly not totally onboard.  Kind of like all those videos of parents putting kids on Santa’s lap or some Mascot or Disney figure and the kid not loving it, while there are plenty who do.  That is just not that particular kid’s thing.  

Probably gone are the days of kissing babies at political rallies, or from the pope, or whatever, and President Biden and others will have to remember this…including Trump (have you seen some those awkward kid kisses and kid interactions 😬😆) as we certainly don’t want to scar our kids for life.  But to try and make this a whole pedophile moment by President Biden is pretty much over the top IMO.

I wish that there were more people who could see what they see and hear what they hear without all the conspiracy theory, ignoring, or not really looking into what you (general you) think you are seeing.  Seems to be a shit ton of that going on, and that certainly isn’t helping our country or the divide in it.  You are certainly free to call my post gaslighting but it is my opinion.

So what we can take from your non-response is that you’re aware that Republican politicians also kiss babies but it’s somehow pedophilia or senility (not sure of your claim) if a Democrat does it.

gar and MichyM   I’ve interacted and “liked” the photos taken by the OP.  Because I really, for the most part, stay out of the political threads (such as this one), I truly had no idea of her political stance. I have been a member of this board for almost 24 years. During that time, I have tried to extend kindness and grace to all members, even though I know I fail miserably at times.

In the original version of the 2 Peas photography board, I was a relatively active participant.  I miss it.  When Refugee Peas post pictures, I one of the many that respond. 

I was not aware of the political stance of the OP.  Frankly, I don’t keep a spreadsheet, so except for the vocal few, I only know the political affiliation of a small number of our members. 

Sometimes liking a picture is just that, liking a picture.

Restless Spirit - as Merge said, that was a prod at the OP calling many of us joyless etc etc and generally looking down her nose at those who engaged on this/her thread, not a dig at you. My point was that she didn’t look down on them when she solicited admiration for her photos…they were offering praise and that was different presumably.

I'm not quite sure why you felt the need to tag me in your reply. If you like a photo, and you click the like button, that's great! I was also an active member of the old photo board <shrug>.
