Thanks for sharing the AE advent items, marg. Are those numbers puffy stickers? I love that lacy die set, MDscrapaholic. I didn't realize it actually cuts out the lace strips. When I looked at your pic, it looked similar to one I have that cuts anywhere on a sheet and has to be used with the strip to cut an edge. Mine was demo'd as a way for making lacy envelope flaps. But after watching the video you linked and looking more closely at the die it looks like it cuts the lace strips without the additional die, so no idea what that extra die would be used for... |

I've been using our family "TV watching time" to use the Spellbinders Advent items. Day 2 I'm ambivalent about. The kids would say "meh". I might try again with a tag or insert card if I get time. Day 3 is a December Daily insert card to celebrate our annual trip for peppermint chip shakes Day 4 is a gift tag |

My day 5 project is another insert card. I originally intended to add a snowman, and then I remembered we never make snowmen but we do take lots of winter walks. And see bunnies! |

Shakti grammadee azcrafty MDscrapaholic you ladies had me laughing so hard ... turtle wax ... the visual image of the slow turtle trying to deliver presents everywhere with a big smile on his face was so precious. He's trying his best! I used today's advent surprise for the background. I popped him up and then scanned him so the back looks a little blurry. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow with a photo if we have a good sunny day. Photo colors look more like they look in real life...
