Day 18 - These are a lovely color! Sequins - a dark vibrant blue! Oh my, is this the SB or TE calendar? Sorry, just popped on and cannot recall. I NEED to add some to my stash for sure!

Thanks for sharing them all, MDscrapaholic. I can see that last one being used again and again, no matter the occasion or the season.

MichyM So glad to see you here, recovering enough to hang out! The sequins are from Spellbinders. Thanks so much on both accounts. I’m doing well 😃 Looks like they’re not yet in their product line, but if they made em for the calendar, I’ll bet they’re on their way 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Dec 21. Oh my, I'm going to miss opening one every day once this is done! Only a couple more days! Another die set! The outline box is about 1 1/2 inches square.

Isn't it FUN? justjac gave me the Crafters' Companion calendar one year and I looked forward to getting up every morning, turning on the tree lights and opening my scrappy treat for the day.

Here is the project I made with the Day 18 item: I made a snowman shaker card with those pretty sequins. Here is a project combining days 19,20 and 21: Only three more? I'll miss getting a suprise each day.

jjpeapea you are AMAZING!!! Not only using all these goodies and using them at this time of year, but using them so creatively! I have been wanting to make shaker tags ever since the Crop & Create holiday box arrived, but have not even opened the tag die set...

Well, we're getting to the end! I am running out of free time, so I'm going to post today and the next two days right now. Thanks to everyone for following along, and special thanks to jjpeapea for using the new stuff and giving us ideas on how to use this! Dec 22 More sequins! Beautiful color just like the other two sets. Dec 23 Thinking of you die set! And finally, Dec 24. A whale die set! Wishing you all a happy holiday season!

MDscrapaholic thanks so much for thinking of us with the last of your free time! And thank you for hiding the rest under a spoiler tag. I resisted peeking until I opened the calendar for the day. One more to go! Here is the insert card I made for the day 22 item: When I opened these I thought "pink" but when I looked for paper they turned out more to be "peach". Then the scanner totally messed with the color.

Here is my last project for the last two days - Day 23 and Day 24. I love that the "tittles" (dots above the letter i) are attached - I'm always losing those. I've had a bit of fun, so I'm definitely trying to get the calendar next year.

I’ve been tempted to get one, but there are too many things that I wouldn’t use. I like to have specific dies or stamps, so the advent wouldn’t be worth it to me. Have fun opening yours though. A lot of people love them. I’m having a bit of buyers remorse. I purposely stayed away from this thread, so I wouldn’t be “spoiled” by knowing beforehand what was in the calendar. I waited till Christmas Day to open it. Big mistake. I do believe I got my moneys worth because I do like most of the dies. However, one of the embossing folders, two of the rubberstamps, both of the stencils and all of the sequins are not something I will use. Bottom line, I’m glad I tried it, but would not buy it or any paper crafting Advent calendar again. Like you, I am more of a targeted buyer, and the randomness of the Advent just doesn’t work out well for me. I think I’ll let them sit a while, and then, after the first of the year, go back through and look closely at each item. Anything I don’t want I will probably then see if there’s any interest in a RAK of the items I don’t want.

I love this ^^^
If the navy sequins are not someone’s cup of tea, I’d be happy to purchase them (they’re not in the site) or trade them for the medium blue ones I got last year. Or we could do a half and half trade.

Let’s wait and see, maybe someone else doesn’t use sequins or wants to do a partial trade 🤞🏻
