dewryce , your work looks great. I bet it will become a very relaxing, mindful type of activity. Thank you! Yes, it really is sort of meditative. My lips were super chapped the next day and I couldn’t figure out why. When I mentioned it to my sister she said I’d stick my tongue out when I was concentrating. I must have been concentrating a LOT, I never even noticed myself doing it. And DH always teases me about it so he got quite a kick out of learning I did I so much it chapped my lips and I will never hear the end of it!

It's adjustable from 5+ foot to around 11'. I have it stretched out to the width of the three windows. It would probably plant bench if it wasn't for the current occupants. 🤣

Here's one. I wasn't sure if he was appeasing his granny or what...lol...not that I don't think my crochet projects are infinitely cool but... Think Jeremy is up for one? He seems like he would be game for it. My DH? Not on your life! Jeremy says you've got the wrong impression of him. 🤣😂 I showed him this this morning. He was laughing hard.

That's the magic of these kind. Scratching board type cardboard bowl shaped. Like a round box they can scratch and "shrimp up" in. CoZy, it seems. I got mine elsewhere and a while ago but gave my nephew these (Amazon photo below) for his and his girlfriends 3 meows and they were a hit

jeremysgirl added photo instead as links were giving me fits. And thanks, I like the bench too. Only been planning on it for years. Finally found the perfect spot that spurred the gumption to get er done. I use it a lot when I'm chillin' at night before bed. Great little side table with a lounge chair near.

Cats are weird, for sure. Get them a bed and they sleep in the box it came in. Excuse poor quoting from phone. Mine ignore the beds until yesterday. I am a reviewer for Amazon (free stuff for a genuine review) and chose a bed fully expecting it to be ignored like all the others. My boy was in it pretty much before I’d got it unpacked and he’s been in it, sound asleep all day. I am flabbergasted. I need to check your link out.

Crocheters, I have a question. I know im popping in out of nowhere, but I hope that’s ok! 😁 Anyhow, I’m very much a simple crocheter who googles when she has questions but unfortunately I must be googling this wrong, so here I am. I am finishing up a blanket in Corner to Corner in rows. The rows are all zig zig (photo below) and I have no idea at all how to make a row that gets them all even at the end. I assume it it something like a slip stitch followed by a SC, followed by a Dc, then SC, then SS, and on and on. Could someone point me to directions on what to do, or what to ask for when I Google? Videos and/or photos are super helpful for me. Thank you x 100! Yes, you’re on the right track. Looking at the photo think I would try ss at the top point, then sc, hdc, dc (in the “valley), hdc, sc and see if it brings everything to the right height.Hope your recoveries are going well! Finally finished the last few rows and am working on the end now and thank you again. Your stitch instructions were perfect ❤️ and saved me time and likely lots of anguish!

Good morning! Last day of December! I got a new winter coat for Christmas in a light teal color. So I spent this week making a cowl and a hat to match. They are in the wash so I'll have to show you later.
I finished up my December Daily album yesterday too. Now I just need to catch up my Project Life scrapbook for 2023.
I have decided to take a staycation in February where I intend to work on my camper quilt. However it was made clear to me on that heart block that my triangles need some work. So today I'm digging into my stash of fabrics and I'll be working solely on putting triangle blocks together. I need the practice. Jeremy was like I don't understand why you haven't started the camper quilt and I'm like I really don't want to mess that one up. So I will practice on some fabric that I don't care if I mess it up.
Any plans for this Sunday/last day of the year?

Well done on completing a number of projects. I understand what you mean about practicing, the camper quilt means a lot to you and you want to give it your best shot. You will feel happier for taking your time. I still have on going projects that are close(ish) to completion but, of course, I'm planning ahead. I really like a number of Australian quilt designers and have this pattern www.sewhot.co.uk/product/dear-jen-booklet/The booklet has nine different ways to put the blocks together and honestly you could come up with more. So, I'm playing with fabric, possible layouts, understanding the blocks etc. It's not a quick quilt by any means. But I love all the variety.

I’m hoping to get another row or two done in my Briar Rose - I’m on repeat 4 with just another three rows before I hit the next repeat. I’d like to do 7 repeats but I think I only have enough yarn for 6 plus the finish rounds/border.
But I have a wedding today - just have to do the cupcakes and slice the squares and box it all up for delivery, and then finish a hockey jersey cake for the 2nd. If I get on it early I should have a few hours of play time later!

I lost my crojo for a very very long time this year. I’m attempting Lucy Attic 24 Yuletide in the Starbright colourway. The middle is a tad squiffy - but I’m ok with that. This one, if finished, is for me. Loving everyones gorgeous talent and projects.

December was a bit rough for me too. Just this low grade sort of depression that makes me feel some days like I'm trudging through 10 ft of mud. If you need to pause and regroup, don't feel bad about it. And you know me, frogging is the absolute last resort for me. I hate doing that.🤣

I used my Cricut to make several shirts, a notebook and a tote bag for various people for Christmas. I also made a tie throw for a friend of mine (not pictured) and I finally finished my friend’s crochet afghan.

Lovely disneypal 😍 You reminded me that I’d also used my Cricut on a festive/winter top
