Sharing some more Cards for Cubs experiments More candles, trying different ideas: Jan share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Die cut sentiments leftover from the card above and experimenting with a candle in the I: Jan share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Stamped and cut elements that have been floating around for months: Jan share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I wondered if I could stencil a balloon over a sentiment I had pre-stamped (yes), and then I felt like the balloon needed something extra YES! I love the little hand drawn face so much! I can make dozens of happy little balloons in different colors with different faces, if I don't get distracted by all the other ideas... Wow! So much going on while I was shoveling up the mess in here! Linda, wonderful pages, as always. I love that the "big kids" send you photos to scrap. Great selfies and scenes from their road trip. Love that you have photos of the ferry pier and the birds and the sunset. Great idea to include a map of their travels, unloading the moving van, and their special celebration meals. I think it is really cool that you have so many photos of--and pages about--the wildlife your family sees on your adventures. Cute page with the happy octopus, too. And teacherlisa, I see that your "kids" are keeping you supplied with pic's of their adventures, too. How fun to scrap the Terror Trader market! And look at all the CARDS! Your mini Valentines are SO CUTE, jjpeapea. Did you use the Spellbinders advent calendar goodies for these? Clever! and your stenciled hearts all seem to have such depth. Such pretty cards! joblackford, I will check out your beautiful bunches of cards on Flickr. So colourful! And I love how you played with the balloon stencil: so cheerful! gramma, I will take a closer look at your cards on Flickr, too, but although those may be simple card designs, the cards themselves each look really special.

Slowly making some layouts. Super simple because I need to stock up on cohesive baby themed things. This is based off a Sketchy Saturday. Sketchy Saturday 1/6/24 by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr

Sneaking these in at the last minute for January. Encouragement cards for Cards for Cubs Jan share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Working on late MIL's huge Hummel collection I found a freebie address book from 1982 with Hummel figurines photographed in scenes, so I figured older folks would enjoy cards made with them. Assorted sentiments I had in my binder. The "you're not old, you're vintage" one is for my SIL who has similar feelings about the Hummels as me (ugh) and is the same age as me. Jan share by jo.blackford, on Flickr sorry for the reflections on the coated cardstock.

First layout of February. It just kind of happened, and has nothing to do with any challenges. If you've never watched the BBC show Red Dwarf, the journaling probably makes no sense, but my kids will get it Gazpacho by BreetheFlea, on Flickr

Continuing to make cards with samples and experiments I have lying around... I got the stamp that goes with the candles stencil I've been using (Simon Hurley) and also invested in a bundle of the Solar Pastes. I tapped a little of the golden hour paste over the candles that were already inked yellow. The red white blue panels were samples I made with the Stencils360 tool. The new stamp I got (C&9th) worked perfectly in the middle and I cut up a bunch of scrap metallic cs for star embellishments. And then, if in doubt add a monster. I need to stamp and cut more of those, they're so useful! Feb share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Starting here and working backwards... Love how you scrapped those fun adventure photos, Linda. Awesome titles I especially like the "Explore" one. Fun little extras to make each page special. Love what you did with torn edges and the blue/navy/yellow matting. Of course your water and woodland pp was perfect, too. joblackford I will be heading over to Flickr next to leave some love for your cards. I really should play more with inks and stencils. There is love on Flickr for your pages, breetheflea . Your takes on the challenges are always so original and fun. jjpeapea , your bd cards are super cute. The kids will love them! There is love on Flickr for your sweet Dad & baby page, scrappyrabbit . So glad you are finding some time to scrap some of what probably is hundreds of pic's of that little one.

Thank you breetheflea and grammadee I chatted on the phone with my bestie for 3 hours this morning and got some more layouts done while we talked. This one uses Scrapbook Generation Click Three and a brad from deep in my stash This one has loads of fussy cut trees (Echo Park I think) and bits from various other collections - it's for 29-4-29 #3/Sketchy Saturday no twist This one is super simple with a photorealistic background paper This one has fussy cut flowers with enamel dots and a title from a Cricut cartridge
