Here is a card made for my dsil's bd tomorrow with my new gnomie car die. I had visions of including a birthday cake with lit candles in the car, but ended up with just the "gifts" behind the gnomies. Inside it says, "Let's PARTY!"
And while I had the birthday supplies out, I put together this two pager for two 29-4-29 challenges (#3 sketch and #5 patterned paper). Got the twists for both. One 5x7 card (15) and two 12x12 pages (40), created & shared (6). Five photos for Donna challenge (5). Two 29-4-29 challenges with twists (14). P-1 inked edges, P-2 brand new die, S/I-2 balloon pp, S/I-10 that car has WHEELS! S/I-12 banner, C/m-1 blues, T-5 paper piecing, T-15 sketch, W/T-4 happy birthday, W/T-7 multi colour title, W/T-15 happy, Th-26 CAKE! Total: 91

I posted a link to my video flip through of my 2023 album on the Donna challenge thread. If you're scrapping photos (in any way, even dragging them into photo book templates like me) you should check out this challenge each month. 2peasrefugees.boards.net/post/4067999/thread

Echo Park and Photoplay for 29-4-29 day 2 with twist This one took forever. I had a large scrap of the tea cup paper and knew I wanted to use it but had the hardest time finding papers to go with it. In the end I fussy cut the tea cups and just channelled Shimelle and layered PP in similar colours under the photos.

The Shimelle/tea cup paper strategy looks like it worked really well Linda! I love your sweet kitty page too

Good Stuff by BreetheFlea, on Flickr I hurt my knee (not bad enough to go to the doctor) and am taking it easy today, hanging out at my desk and this layout happened. There was a challenge on the quarterly list to use a large cluster, so I attempted one All the paper scraps are from my blue scrap drawer, and stickers and chipboard from all over my stash. Lots of Simple Stories Bro and Co and Echo Park Teen Spirit, among other random things.

Hope it’s ok to post here MORE than okay! So happy you are scrapping again. And glad you chose to share what you are doing. Don't worry about showing us "simple" pages. The most important part is that you are enjoying the process and you feel good about the results. Welcome to the LIGHT side of the board!

I posted another set of Sheetload cards, using up the rest of the Doodlebug Pumpkin Spice. This set used one 12x12 paper back and front instead of four 6x6 papers. Feb share by jo.blackford, on Flickr and I made these random cards using things that had been sitting around for years waiting to be combined and glued onto cards. The postcards were from a trip MIL took in 2018 (she bought ALL the postcards). Most are just trimmed to fit on an A2 card but I added matting layers to a couple. Everything else was a half finished project that just needed me to make a few small decisions to finish it. Feb share by jo.blackford, on Flickr These puzzle die designs perplexed me for far too long. Feb share by jo.blackford, on Flickr The last scrap of one of my fav Doodlebug paper pads deserved to be on a card: Feb share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Hope it’s ok to post here. I mostly stick to NSBR, but am scrapping again. I finally have a dedicated scrapping area (that isn’t a dark corner of our unfinished basement). Here is one layout with pics of dd from about twenty years ago. And my still in process album for our trip to Italy last year. I’m rather struggling with it. My style is very simple I know, especially these pages. But it’s what I like. I have some stamps I bought for the Italy pages that I'm going to use on some of these. And our itinerary is going to go on the page with our luggage picture. Welcome back! How nice to have a welcoming space... dark basement corners are not my happy place either. My style (for scrapping) is super-simple too, so no need to apologize for that! Thanks for sharing your lovely pages

craftymom101 - I love your layouts from the Not Just For Boys kits - I especially like how you used the alphas that are different from letter to letter - I always struggle with those and yours look fabulous! joblackford -those birthday cards are great - I love your cards! grammadee - love the colours on the handball page and those cute converses! Game Day is awesome and all those circles remind me of hockey pucks! I love that you included nylene's card on your layout and the banner title is so pretty! The arrows are perfect for the moving layout - great pics! What fun cards - LOVE that wheelbarrow and the hockey playing snowman is so cute! @iluvpink - welcome back to the dark side! I love that summer layout - the colours are just perfect. And I think simple sometimes is best for travel pages - lets the great photos shine! My layouts are usually pretty simple also. joblackford - more fun birthday cards! and I love what you did with the postcards - gives me an idea on what to do with some our excess postcards! The puzzle cards are great! I really LOVE the space card though - it's so cute!

a couple of simple pages from today - the first two are mainly for DH - he has a special interest in military history and loves learning about relatives who served in this battle or that. Day 12 29-4-29 with the twist and then one for the big kids album - inspired by the sketch for day #3 (but not for 29-4-29 as I've already done day 3)

I have a bunch of family tree info, but it gets so complicated with many ancestors having 15-22 children,so it's nice to see how it is possible to get that info on a page without being overwhelming and still having room for paper and stickers

I'm printing out a list of my sources and tucking behind each layout in my album as well. I've been researching since 1982 but have only recently started trying to get the information into a more accessible format for my family.
