The farm market scene didn’t seem real to me. I was shocked that she could walk at that pace 8 weeks post -op have had 6 open surgeries to my abdomen area. None laproscopic 3 cut me from sternum to pubic bone. At 8 weeks, I would have never been able to walk that fast or carry bags It hurt to laugh and I couldn’t throw my shoulders back and stand straight. I was in my mid 30’s At age 30 I had a C-section. Two weeks later I was back on horseback and working in the stable two hours each day. And you are apparently the standard that all abdominal surgeries are held to apparently 🙄 |

And you are apparently the standard that all abdominal surgeries are held to apparently 🙄 I don’t think that is what she is saying. She is just pointing out that everyone is different. Some people have higher tolerances for pain. Some people heal faster. I have known two people about the same age and same physical health but they both had drastically different recovery times from their hysterectomies. Everyone is different so it silly for people to speculate on Princess Catherine’s health based on if she was walking around the market or not. |

I was one of those women who left the hospital after giving birth looking like I was never pregnant. I left in my pre-pregnancy clothes. And I didn't have any pain. I do have a unique pain tolerance so there is that. Every women is different and I see no issue with listening to your body and doing what you feel up to as long as you aren't putting yourself at risk. Between two friends who both recently had hysterectomies... 1 went back to work after 2 weeks. Not allowed to drive for another week but co-worker picks them up and took them home. 1 was down for 5 weeks before they even started to feel less pain and were able to move about. Very close in age, same health, no issues during surgery. Both their bodies handled it differently. |
