A couple of cards for me. Got my Silhouette to behave (begrudgingly and not completely) by increasing pressure, decreasing speed, and doing a double cut for the numbers. Cut them from white cs and coloured them with inks. Played with a couple of Riley & Co die sets I HAD to HAVE, but have not given much of a workout. Used a technique I have not used for a long time--using Glossy Accents to add dimension to diecuts. This card for my dgs. Happy 21 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This one for our neighbours' 70th wedding anniversary: Two 5x7 cards (30), created & shared (4). P-7 vellum, S/I-1 oval, S/I-20 music notes, N/S-10 big numbers. Total: 38.

Longview by BreetheFlea, on Flickr Still waiting for my computer part to be replaced, so still without my Silhouette, which makes embellishing and titles fun... I think I had to dig through everything I own to find all the teal and yellow bits and pieces for this one. Cricut Doodletype font. Park Lane (Joann's) Fresh Air papers, the camera die cut is from Shimelle, the building dies are unknown, random assorted labels, stickers, tags, and journaling cards. Challenges I am checking off the list: flowers/bouquet and I think there was one about food on the list.

My upper body workout for this week - 20 stenciled cards using TE Create in Quads hexagons, using 4 colors of Catherine Pooler ink. The die cut “dad” is so much less fussy than the “father’s” word! But I got there in the end with a mix of them. They are from Honey Bee Stamps. Colored my own navy cardstock to match using ink and then stamped the green “wonderful” inside. These are for the Altenew Celebrating Parents card drive that Shakti told me about. April share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Dropping this in here while I have a minute. Started this bd card yesterday and finished this morning while dgs was working on some cards of his own. Didn't want to forget about this one until it was already in the mail. POINTS: small card (10), created & shared (2). Total: 12.

grammadee - awesome cards - I love the beer steins on the 21 and all the mini frames on the 70 - congrats to your neighbours - 70 is a milestone indeed! breetheflea -LOVE the colours on your layout and the diecut house border - beautiful! kitbop - lovely photos of you and that layout is so pretty - as always you do layering and clustering so well. The juxaposition of the stripes and delicate floral on Welcome Home looks great - and again that layering and clustering! joblackford - gorgeous cards - love the colours and that stencilling looks perfect (but lots of work). grammadee - that cupcake card looks good enough to eat!

grammadee - that cupcake card looks good enough to eat! Ha ha. Thanks. Dgs saw it and said, "You know, Gramma, it's been a long time since we baked together." Thinking that will be on the agenda when he is here for a week at the end of April...

I've always been intimidated by this thread with all the scrapbook layouts, which I generally don't make. I've been assured that sharing on the card sharing thread counts for sharing points. I had no idea that there were so many card making Peas who never post over in the Stamping and Card Making sub-board. I waded in because I made layouts this past weekend and will need to come in and share them soon. In the meantime, here's a link my card share post: 2peasrefugees.boards.net/post/4103661

Shakti - your link doesn't work But yes - sharing on the cardshare thread counts for points. Personally I don't share my cards over there because I'm just used to sharing on this thread since I primarily scrapbook but also because I don't see myself as a cardmaker so much as a scrapper who makes cards, albeit very simple cards.

Thank you, linda. Paper is Club Scrap -- I really, really love their collections and the paper quality. Photos are mostly mom's, but a few are mine.

Some cards completed during mom 's on line crop today. These are for my dd and three ddil's. Tried to make each unique to that person's interests, while using up a bunch of floral diecuts. Some I like more than others. Don't know if there is a term like "fussy cussin'" for assembling layered die cuts, but whatever it is, I tried NOT to cuss out loud while I was on line, but in my head... Mothers' Day by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This one I finished yesterday, playing with inks and water Five 4x9 & 5x7" cards (75), created & shared (10). P-4 stamped greeting, P-8 twine, S/I-7 flowers, T-9 water colour, Th-3 cloud & rainbow, Th-11 mothers day, Th-17 hello. Total: 92

Two Cards by BreetheFlea, on Flickr Two cards. I didn't put any words on them yet, because I don't know who/what I made them for... Random cardstock, and all the stamps are from Lawn Fawn. Valentines Day by BreetheFlea, on Flickr Valentine page. Carta Bella paper, Photoplay stickers, except the 2024 which is from Kelly Purkey. The doily was white but I recolored it pink by rubbing an ink pad on it.

These aren’t a finished project, just trying out a new supply + building up a stash of sentiments + using up cs scraps. Good use of my crafty time the last couple of days. I’m trying to remember to use colors that make me smile. The die set is from MFT. It snuck into my cart when I bought the Converse sentiments. Crafty time by jo.blackford, on Flickr

These are the first four pages in my Perth 2024 album. I thought that rather than flooding the gallery with a gazillion individual pages, I would post four together. I'm using the Inspiration Board Templates Vol 2 by Katie Pertiet for this album. I've been adjusting the size and orientation of the photos on the templates to fit more photos on each page. I love that the templates include the little film strips on each page. It gives me an opportunity to add extra photos that I otherwise would have had to leave off.

AussieMeg - gorgeous photos as always and I'm loving the layouts! So much dimension even being digital! I really like the colour blocks with the words that pull the key colours from the photos.

Wow! So much going on here this last couple of days! Promise to be back to leave some love by end of day tomorrow... Here are the cards I had started at mom 's crop yesterday. I added a couple more and finished them off this morning. Started by staring at a pack of ephemera from Shimelle's Main Character Energy, wondering what to do with all those pretty pieces... One pack got me (mostly) through two cards, but then I had to start digging into my VB stash and a few other little packets. Points: four 9x4 cards (60), created & shared (8). T-17 bone folder for tri folds, Th-9 birthday. Total: 70
Who knew putting together free form bouquets would be so much fun?!?

So glad to see you found a fun way to use lots of flowers grammadee - those cards look delightful! AussieMeg I love seeing the pages together. So many photos, but all the different layers and textures keep it fresh and light. The little film strip elements are great for all those extra photos that give a sense of the place but aren't the focus. Really love that for a travel album! You're inspiring me to make my own

grammadee I need to go and take a closer look at your "fussy cussing" die assembly pieces (no, I can't think of a good die cutting version of the phrase) but it looks like Spellbinders? Their clubs always look like so much fun but then I remember how many little pieces their dies seem to have and I think I'd be wanting to die after putting them together.

That is exactly my experience. The owl & books are small and large "Die of the Month" clubs. I had already decided to continue those two and even add a third one for this month before I was doing all that diecutting. Now that I am reminded of how intricate and fussy these sets are I will definitely cancel the first week in May. And I KNEW this would happen when I signed up. Just thought somehow I had developed a Patience or Skill gene since my last go-round, I think LOL.

Any minute now I'm going to be transformed into a careful patient watercolor painter... or so I think every time I watch someone paint.
